Israel & USA Leaders Meet. Push for Another War-Bullies.

THE DOCTOR IS IN
_______________

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

In the White House yesterday the leaders of the USA and Israel talked about Iran. "The United States will always have Israel's back"when it comes to Israel's security, Obama said. That's fine. But there should be a caveat : That being, only if Israel is attacked or invaded.

Netanyahu said: " I believe that's why you appreciate, Mr. President, that Israel must reserve the right to defend itself." Israel, he added, must remain "the master of its fate."

My view is that he is correct when he states Israel has the right to defend itself. But a clear definition of defend is "resist an attack, made on someone or something) i.e. a country, like Israel. But to date Israel hasn't been attacked. So, my thought is Natanyahu is exaggerating and embellishing on the word "DEFEND."

Netanyahu has been begging for the United States promise of military action against Iran for months now and wants Obama to make that commitment. My suggestion to Obama is that he decline such a commitment unless Israel is actually attacked first, by Iran. Yes, Israel has the right to defend themselves but they do not have the right to use a preemptive strike against another country, start a war and have the United States dragged into it.

Obama said in the White House meeting that: "We understand the costs of any military action." Do they? It appears they are ignorant to the consequences of military action. Hell, as of 10/7/2011, the United States has already spent over $450 billion dollars just on the Afghan war and then we have the cost of our precious military service men that died. So far in Afghanistan we lost 1780 treasured military service men and women; in Iraq we lost approximately 3, 305 military men and women. More than 3,100 died before the President dressed in military drag and spouted the "mission accomplished" speech. I truly believe that Obama and Netanyahu has no concept at all about the cost of military action.

What ever happened to idea of : "If you hit me I'll hit you back," and "defend myself?" When someone starts a fight, they are the "bully." They are the aggressor. No one should turn the other cheek, but until that person is assaulted and/or attacked they should go on with life as usual. And when they defend themselves they should respond with equal force. That goes for countries also. If Israel is clearly attacked by Iran and Iran uses nukes, Israel should respond in kind using nukes also. If attacked with missiles, respond with missiles , etc. - - but to have Israel persuade the United States to g0 along with (another) preemptive military strike against a sovereign nation is just having two bullies join together to flaunt military power and might trying to prove to the world that they in fact, do have power.

In the White House meeting, Netanyahu said, "Israel must remain "master of its fate." Well, if that's true why the hell is he demanding a commitment from the United States to go to war and request back-up and military aid, weapons, and intelligence from the good ol' USA? Further if Israel is master of its fate, it should handle its fights on their own. They shouldn't start something they can't finish on their own.

I would advise Netanyahu and Israel itself, -"Don't yell or squeal until you are actually hurt." When that occurs, fight! Until then, stand down. Get on with your life. Your threat of war is already costing the Americans big time, just in the cost of gasoline prices. Americans are suffering every day at the pump because of the unrest and uncertainty Israel is causing with their threats of war. The economy of the United States is in dire straits and Israel's bullying and macho posturing is hurting the U.S. each and every day.- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
