DOCTORS AND NURSES NEED TO BE RE-EDUCATED IN NEVADA.

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

At least 19, Las Vegas, Nevada hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities are running rampant with Candida auris. There is no excuse for this to happen in any health facility setting. C. auris can and will cause blood infections and death to the vulnerable like senior citizens, and those patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living, who suffer serious medical problems.

Folks, it is a matter of practicing good hygiene among the doctors, nurses and other health care providers. They have to be on constant alert by washing their hands often, changing gloves between patients, having instruments and equipment cleaned properly, etc., -

It appears that many doctors, nurses, and other health care employees have become laxed in their handling of patients. WOW!

The CDC is supposed to send a team to Nevada to reeducate these "take it for granted" health care providers. It' s sad that professional doctors and nurses have to be re-educated in  basic infectious disease control. They usually learn about these matters in medical school class 101.

I suggest the CDC remain on hospital sites in Nevada for a lengthy period of time in order to ensure that these laxed professionals finally get it through their hard heads that infectious disease protocols are followed very stringently. And, that's my opinion. I suggest you look at the situation and come to your own conclusions. You decide.
