YOUR QUESTION- A NARCISSIST: HERE"S MY OPINION

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

This is in response to Judith H. in Sacramento, California.

Your Inquiry: You said your friend was once diagnosed with a "narcissistic personality disorder." You wanted to know what traits you should look out for. My work with patients who experience this disorder can been seen to display the following: So Judith,  in lay language - -

A narcissist is generally preoccupied with themselves, their own aspirations, preferences, and needs. They are very concerned about  their success and how others perceive them. A narcissist deals in taking care of themselves over and above anyone or anything else.

Judith: A narcissist comes n all types of shapes, sizes and different degrees. Basically he or she experiences a major  attachment disorder and many are locked into a childhood trauma. They become emotionally stuck at the time of their major trauma or at the time of the separation attachment.

This narcissistic person literally falls in love with themselves and is  really wrapped up in their own image. They pursue gratification from their own vanity or egotistic admiration of their physical and mental attributes - -which is usually derived from arrogant pride.

Judith, other traits relevant to the narcissist may be, but not limited to:
Him or her being a person that thinks they are the center of the world. The question being- How much attention does he or she need? Basically, they can't share attention with anyone. Also once the narcissist goes off they can't stop; they won't stop - - until they're ready. They go into a  "zone" all their own.

Being in love with a person that is narcissistic is like being on a roller coaster. They can be like a typhoon, level 5 or higher - -

A person like this is "all about me" and is insecure to their very depths. They tend to be jealous. Jealous of everything and everybody. They have to be the center of attention. They are a "one person train wreck."

Hope this helps you Judith. I appreciate the question. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

ISRAEL AND SOME LAWMAKERS WANT TO SCUTTLE TALKS WITH IRAN. THAT'S STUPID.

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Here we go again folks. Israel is trying to stir the pot in the Middle East and cause problems with the proposed deal with Iran. Israel prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu  doesn't want the United States to deal with Iran and has his people send out letters to all Jewish organizations around the world asking them to pressure their countries leaders not to come to some agreement with Iran. To me folks, that is dumb.

In this case I believe  U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry is correct in and attempt to cement an agreement with Iran. Hell, this is the first time in a long time in which Iran has  offered to negotiate. That's GOOD. Not BAD. However, the Jewish lobby in this country is already falling in line with Netanyahu's  thinking. And some lame brains in congress is buying Netanyahu's rhetoric. Congress people like Lindsey Graham (R), SC is screaming such things as: "You can't trust Iran, they lie." Are you kidding me? Our own Congressmen lie (often) and we have been lied to by President Obama but yet this rabble rouser Graham and some of his friends want to deep six any talks about a possible agreement between the United States and Iran. These congressman already are siding with Israel without even knowing what could possibly come out of a negotiated agreement between Iran and the U.S. and the rest of the world. Clearly  these lawmaker are looking to pander to the Jewish lobby and the Jewish community for their votes. Even Obama is leaning toward siding with Netanyahu and congress people.

In fact congress is threatening to push through additional financial sanctions against Iran even as the possible productive talks go on. That's  stupid! Iranian  Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad  Zarif indicated that he found "political determination." "willingness and good faith" among his diplomatic counterparts. I say, that's progress folks. Iran is willing to talk.

The six countries who are participating in these talks: - the U.S., Germany, France, Britain, Russia and China are doing the right thing and kudos go out to John Kerry for trying to get an agreement with Iran.

Netanyahu has continually kept up a drum beat appearing on numerous television shows trying to dissuade other countries of  talking with the Iranians. This is the guy that threatened to take  preemptive action and bomb Iran. It appears to me that this man wants to start a  war with Iran and then have us here in the United States come to his aid and save his countries butt. He wants to get the United Sates involved in another Mideast conflict so bad he can taste it. Netanyahu's personal calls to world leaders tell them: " Any proposed agreement with Iran is not only dangerous to Israel but to those other countries also." To that I say - it's a bunch of bull." Netanyahu will say anything to throw a monkey wrench into these important talks.

Netanyahu said that he asked world leaders -" why the haste?" " Why not consider the matter seriously?" This guy is surly arrogant. I am sure that  Secretary of State John Kerry and the other officials taking part in the talks are SERIOUS.  I truly believe that when John Kerry said that he is "acting in the interests of our country and the globe" he was serious. However, on the other hand Netanyahu has NEVER been serious in negotiations in the Mideast. He has always found a way to obstruct any peace talks with the Palestinians at every turn in the road. There has  been no real peace between Israel and the Palestinians since  May 14, 1948. And since the 1960's Israel has had a boot on the necks of Palestinian people telling them where they can travel and move about, restricting necessities to the Palestinian people and  just recently urged the United States to take even more draconian action against the Palestinian people. Between Netanyahu and hard-line Israeli politician Avigdor Lieberman (who is known for his outspoken and critical views) of the Palestinians will complicate any agreement and/or talks with Iran.

In my opinion Netanyahu and Israel has no  credibility when it comes to peace talks or negations and agreements. He has no idea at all  what it takes to get an agreement between two countries and would be ashamed if  the United States and/or any of the other six countries came up with a working agreement with Iran.

I would suggest that the countries negotiating with Iran turn a deaf ear to Netanyahu's demands for cancelling the  negotiation talks and clearly turn a deaf ear to  people like congressman Lindsey Graham and friends who are already trying to scuttle the talks for their own self interests.

At least Secretary of State John Kerry and leaders from other countries had the determination to forge ahead with  these talks. But I would also suggest that  our lawmakers stop initiating further financial sanctions on Iran at this time. Rather, this is the time to negotiate and compromise, not penalize. That is what  agreement talks are supposed to do- COMPROMISE. Each side  is to give up something that they had previously been locked in to. People, ---compromise is a GIVE and TAKE situation. Each side has to bend. There is no one way street bargaining chip in this game and it clearly is not  "it's my way or the highway"  attitude that will garner results. However, word of caution and constructive criticism for Secretary of State, John Kerry - - STOP the contradictions following the nuclear talks. For example, on one hand Kerry says he wants to make a deal with the Iranians but then he goes on Iran t,.v. and says Iran didn't want to make the deal, saying the U.S. was on board with France the UK and Germany and then he faults Iran by saying any lack of progress was due to Iran.

Personally, I have always thought that Kerry's mouth was his biggest detriment to himself that always got him in trouble. The guy begins to speak and then goes on and on and on trying to clarify his statements until he puts his foot in his mouth. He doesn't know when to say something, make a point or suggestion  and then SHUT UP. Christ, if the Iranians are talking and meeting with different countries and there is a meeting of the minds even to a small degree I say - -DON'T shoot yourself in the foot by bad-mouthing the talks.

Hell, the Iranians want a  relaxation of sanctions and the countries taking part in the negotiations want Iran to ease up on nuclear movement. Each side should give up something to show good faith and pound out a mutual agreement. I say it can be done. Compromise is a great thing.

As far as Israels bitching and screaming goes I say they should stand back and let the talks take their course and  actually see what each side agreed to. However I predict that Netnayahu will continue to try everything in his power to derail any possible agreement with Iran. No matter what agreement is reached this war-monger will not be happy and will continue to cause turmoil in the region.

If it were up to me I would "isolate" Israel (world-wide) just on the basis that Israel has reneged and backed out of peace talks for decades and continues to sabotage peace talks, ignores the many other countries that have made suggestions as to how to make peace with the Palestinians. His lame argument always is: "Don't interfere with Israel's internal problems." Yet Israel has no problem about interfering in other countries decisions. - -Hypocrite? You  bet.

I say give Iran and the six countries negotiating  in these talks a chance to come to agreement and then watch what happens. Actions are louder than words and if Iran follows through on their commitment - -that is a GOOD thing. - And, that is my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

BLACKLIST T.V.SHOW REVIEW UPDATE

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

A reply to Marilyn, from San Diego. Here's an update to your request. You recently asked me to review the television show "Blacklist", which I did, and guess what. true to form my predictions seem to be coming true.

I told you that Megan Boone who plays FBI agent Keene was not cutting it. I told you that the show would have been better without her character. In fact, just using Spader interacting with  the FBI on his own would have made it a better show. Boone doesn't put any emotion into her acting . She plays "flat" on many occasion. In one scene she was talking to Spader (Reddington) where she apparently  tries to cry - -but her feigning emotion was awful.

As to  the shows reality factor? Wow! In one episode  agent Keene spots the suspect in a crowded terminal while the other FBI agents are oblivious to the guy. She chases him and then "gives up her weapon" to the guy. Silly, silly, silly. No way in real life that would ever happen.

But to the point. There are rumors out of Hoillywood that Megan Boone is even having trouble getting her lines straight - -that she's flubbing her lines over and over again which requires retake after retake. Some retakes numbered  12 until she got it right. I predicted that Megan Boone was  wrong for this show and it appears she can't keep pace and keep up with the talented  James Spader.

Marilyn, as I suggested in my previous review I think the show would be better off without FBI agent Keene's role. And the sub plot of her husband and their trials and tribulations is  hokey. The show is not about Keene and husband. It is about Reddington in conjunction with the FBI bringing down super criminals. The show should stick to that theme.

My suggestion to the t.v. exec's handling this show  - -it would be a great improvement if the show had Spader interacting with the FBI without the Keene character. He could go through the cases much more effectively that using this supposed rookie FBI agent who apparently takes the lead in all of the investigations.

Plus, I think the show needs to update some of its plots - -be more realistic. Come on! The old bomb scenario where there's only 17 seconds to spare before  the bomb blows and the FBI agent jumps in the car and rushes toward the water. Hey guys! OLD, OLD, OLD scene. It's been used forever. It's beating a dead horse.

So, Marilyn. I stick by my guns in saying the Keene character should be history.  Spader should be the one  telling the FBI  how to solve the crimes without going through FBI agent Keene. We don't need the side show of agent Keene and her hubby's interaction at all.  And so far the show uses the same old two or three FBI agents in every show. My suggestion, have Spader dealing with FBI  agents from around the country and from all of the FBI offices and not just  two or three guys playing second fiddle to a rookie agent. That really doesn't fly. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

WE OWE NO MORE TO IRAQ. TELL AL-MALIKI NO MORE MONEY OR SUPPORT.

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

It's never over folks. These corrupt world leaders  keep coming back to us here in America with hat in hand asking for  more money and assistance. The Iraq leader, Al-Maliki is here in the U.S. asking Obama for more money, military assistance and protection for his country. What? We invaded Iraq and had troops there for years. Then we trained the Iraqi military forces so they could  protect their own country BUT now this guy wants still more from us United States taxpayers. He's like a baby sucking on a tit - - continually being fed and wanting to be fed by the U.S.

According to Al-Maliki it appears that his military is not up to the task of  protecting his own country. I ask, WHY NOT? The U.S.  spent billions of dollars in money and training for the Iraqi military and government to run a country and we also spent the treasure of blood of our young men and women. Christ, when is our job done?

We invade and attack countries and then we train their populace and military, give them billions of dollars, set them back up and tell them they should now be on their own but that is still not good enough. What ever happened to the old saying: "The spoils of war goes to the winner?" If that were the case we, the U.S. would own that country. That's sad, All we do is conquer a country, win a war but always build the country back up and give it back to the losers. WOW!

Once these corrupt leaders get a taste of  America's money and support they don't want to let it go. That's bad. Iraq, like other corrupt nations has had  the U.S. carry them, support them and protect them for years. Iraq got very comfortable and used to that care and now think it is our job to provide for them through eternity.

I submit that Obama and congress forgo giving more aid and comfort to Iraq. Any problems that come Iraq's way should be handled by their leader, their government and their military. It is their country now. Iraq should be able to stand on its own two feet without crying the blues to us here in America. We more than paid our dues getting that country up and running. We taxpayers suffered serious hardships here in the states while billions of our tax dollars went to that corrupt  nation.

I suggest Obama make it very clear to Al-Maliki that he is ON HIS OWN. Make it clear to this money-grubbing leader that he handle  problems that may occur in his country with his own resources.

Personally people, I am fed up with leaders like Al-Maliki and Karzai, in Afghanistan thinking we owe them something - -WE DON'T. Instead of Obama pandering and enabling these God forsaken corrupt countries he should play hard ball and tough love. He should tell these  wishy-washy clowns  who play at leading  a country that he is turning off the spigot - - NO more billions of dollars to them or their country (which we all know they skim for themselves ) and build big, fat, secret bank accounts in other countries for their own, personal and future use.- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

MAYOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG AND HIS WACKY BANS HAVE NO END. WHY DOES NEW YORKERS PUT UP WITH THIS LOONEY TUNE?

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

What the hell is the matter with the residents of NY,  specifically New York City? They let Mayor Michael Bloomberg walk all over them. Here he goes again with his bans and restrictions on people who supposedly lives in a FREE country.

Bloomberg's new proposal now intends to restrict people under the age of 21-years old from buying and using cigarettes. WOW!

Here is a guy who used his billions of dollars to buy an extended term as mayor of New York City and who throws his money at his puppets on the New York Health Department and elsewhere to get his way. He has served three consecutive terms since his election in 2001. When is enough  - -enough? This man should have been out of office years ago if for nothing else than passing all of his wacko bans and restrictions.

Any prejudice, likes and dislikes Bloomberg has causes him to pass a law to benefit his beliefs while ignoring the people of New York City. If anything should be banned in New York city it should be Bloomberg himself.

Here's a small guy with a small mind with his billions of dollars buying everyone and everything he wants. He has never, ever served in the military but  is now telling all the men and women who are under 21-years old and  serving,( unlike him), in the military that they cannot smoke. They are not ADULTS in his small mind.  Years ago when I was a young man in the United States Marine Corp there were many Marines that were under 21, fighting and dying for  the freedoms of this America and believe it or not many of the Marines as well as service people in other branches of the military smoked cigarettes, both on and off the battlefield. A comment to New York's mayor: It's an old saying but worth repeating: Mayor Bloomberg. " If a man or woman UNDER the age of 21-years of age is old enough to fight and die for this country and the freedoms that we Americans previously enjoyed (before your bans and restrictions) - -then that man or woman is old enough to buy and smoke cigarettes."

And a message for New Yorker's: Can't you see  that your individual freedoms and your freedoms of choice are being  taken away, piece by piece by Mayor Bloomberg who enjoys playing puppeteer and pulling the strings of his Health Department puppets to rationalize his edicts of ignorance? I think what he continues to do is wrong. I suggest that  New Yorker's stand up and tell this man that their freedom of choice is far better than his RESTRICTIONS of those freedoms.  I would like to think that the people of New York City has the right to smoke, drink alcohol and sodas (any size), eat whatever foods they want (prepared with the ingredients they choose) and ingest any legal substance into their body.  There is no doubt that any reasonable and prudent person  knows what is good for them and what is bad for them as they make their own decisions in their daily lives and live with the consequences of their own choices. Who needs mayor Bloomberg to tell people what is good for them?

Personally, I think this mayor is a joke. He doesn't smoke himself so he passes restrictions and bans so as to serve his and his familes self-interests. It appears he has a problem (in his mind) with sodas and sweet drinks so what does he do? He restricts the amount a person can consume in one cup. His mind tells him saturated fats MIGHT be harmful to EVERYONE so he orders restaurants and fast food businesses to restrict them.

Folks Bloomberg set himself up as the nanny of New York City. He apparently wants to take care of  every person in the city from cradle to grave telling them "He knows what is best for them." He apparently believes he is God and can keep people alive and away from the grim reaper.. I ask you, how dumb can that be?

Clearly the people of New York City or for that matter anyone in the United States does not need a keeper and someone telling them  "I will look out after you because I know better than you.
You don't know what's good for you, but I do."

Folks, this is America. Every individual person can make their own decisions. We have a mind of our own. We as individuals based on our OWN decisions will pay the consequences for our OWN acts.

I don't think Bloomberg should have ever been mayor of ANYWHERE. Further, I believe  the only reason he became mayor was due to his billions of dollars he has and the enormous amount of money he spent to win election. This man looks to me as if he lacks common sense. Instead of him learning government and politics and addressing those important issues he apparently would rather use his office for his own personal sandbox deciding what he can do to restrict the freedoms of the people in New York City.

I would think Bloomberg should know better than most that people who have been smoking for decades are still living and enjoying life today. He is a living example. He's still here  after living in a time when people smoked around him all those years.  It didn't kill him nor did it kill all of those  elderly lawmakers on the Hill. All of those lawmakers are old enough to have been around when smoking was commonplace. Yet these nanny do-goodies don't want to face the fact that like drinking, overeating, and other indulgences it is not something that fits everyone. Every person and every persons body is different. There are those people that are currently 80', 90  and yes, even over 100-years old who have drank alcohol, smoked cigarettes, worked in bars and taverns, even doctors and their patients smoked in the doctors office, Cigarettes and tobacco were the norm. These same  elderly people also ate the fat foods like butter, gravy, eggs, pork chops, mashed potatoes, bacon, pies and cakes and lived to their  ripe old age.

I also submit that people who have never, ever smoked tobacco, drank alcohol and/or soda and who never ate rich, fattening foods have indeed  suffered illnesses such as heart problems, cancer, breathing problems and such. The list of ailments and disease occurring in nonsmokers can go on and on but Bloomberg and his ilk would rather take away one's right to choose and restrict the freedoms of America to satisfy their own dysfunctional thinking. - And, that's my opinion.  Make your own decisions. You decide.
