THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS

ALLSTATE INSURANCE/PUTNAM SECURITIES-BAD NEWS COMPANIES

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

This is my annual complaint against two large financial companies who I believe, in my humble opinion are out to scam consumers. One is Allstate Insurance and the other is Putnam Securities.

Here is my story. Years ago I bought a few annuities so I would have some saving when I retired. I bought annuities with Prudential Insurance, Met Life, and Mutual of Omaha. When I finally  retired I annuitized a Prudential  annuity. The company was great . They gave me three options:

1. A life time payout meaning when I die the payments stop. That was the highest monthly benefit.

2. The other options were a 5 and 10 Year certain. I chose the lifetime payments because it paid the most in monthly benefits. Never ever had a problem with Prudential Insurance, nor a problem with New York Life, Mutual of Omaha or Met Life.

I had my checking and saving at Cal Fed (now Citi Bank) and there was a financial adviser there that suggested I cash in my Prudential annuity and buy one with Allstate and Putnam Securities. At the time interest rates were about 6% and the man told me that if I bought the Allstate/ Putnam policy and held it for ten (10 years I would be guaranteed 6% interest and after the ten years I could cash out the policy and do whatever I wanted to do the the monies.

I did just that. I bought the Allstate/Putnam policy and let it sit for the ten years. When the policy matured I Called Allstate and said I wanted to cash out the policy because I wanted to reinvest it in another insurance company. Bam! Here is where the plot thickens. They told me I could not cash out my policy. In fact, I could only annuitize the policy with their company.  That wasn't bad enough, Bam! Another whammie- they said that I could not choose the "Lifetime payout option like Prudential and all the other insurances have. They said I could only  annuitize the policy with  a 10 year certain option. I asked them if they at least had a 5 year option. They said yes, but I would have to wait until I was EIGHTY years old to select that option.

Now keep in mind, all the other insurance companies I had ever dealt with had the three options to select from with the life time pay which would pay me the highest monthly payment and the policy would cease when I die. Not so, with Allstate/ Putnam. They told me I had to select the 10 year certain and I could not move my money from their companies. Basically, I was froze in with these  yo-yo's. I told them that the agent who sold me the policy told me that once the policy matures after the ten years I could do whatever I wanted with the money - -such as move it to another company, or select a "lifetime" payout until I died.

However, these jerk offs sent me a 37 page policy agreement telling me to read it and its terms. Now people, realize that this is the first time since I purchased the annuity that I saw this document. When I purchased the annuity ten years prior all the financial adviser/agent at the bank gave me was one color brochure showing a graph showing how my money would grow over the ten years and the contract I signed transferring my money from Prudential Insurance to Allstate/Putnam. He failed to disclose or mention in any way that I was required to keep my money with Allstate/Putnam nor did he mention I could only  annuitize my money with these con artists.

Every annuity I ever had in my life I selected the "Lifetime payment" because I had no family and that option always paid higher monthly payments . In essence Allstate Insurance Company and Putnam securities did me out of a few hundred dollars a month which I could have been receiving for the rest of my life. The ten (10)option does me no good as a single person. The only benefit  of this annuity policy was clearly in Allstate Insurance and Putnam Securities favor.

Now my monthly benefits from this shady annuity is  hundreds of dollars less a month than what I could have received with most any other top flight insurance company like Prudential, Met Life, New York life or Mutual of Omaha.

I have no love for the so-called financial adviser, Citi Bank and especially Allstate Insurance and Putnam Securities.I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income and having to lose a few hundred dollars a month in income because of these two firms really gripes me. Allstate's motto is: " Your in good hands  with Allstate?" Don't believe it. Personally, I wouldn't recommend  these companies to "anyone". Whenever someone mentions Allstate Insurance or Putnam Securities to me I tell them my story and let that person decide if they want to really do business with companies such as these. It is a true story as what happened to me dealing with these bad guys and after a person here's the story if they still want to look to these companies to do business with, hey - - that's okay with me. To each his own.

I thought of suing Allstate and Putnam but I don't have the money to pursue the matter. I can't afford  attorney's prices. Where are all the contingency lawyers when you need one? Right? These Billion dollar a year insurance and financial companies get away with screwing the little  guys and they will continue to do it over and over again.

That's my story folks. I hope it helps people decide before they buy into a sales pitch full of omissions and lack of disclosure by oily bankers the sleazy  financial crowd.

And,- that's my opinion. You decide. Make your own decisions.

HOSTESS - ANOTHER UNION FIASCO: THEY OUT LIVED THEIR USEFULNESS

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

It's a shame that Hostess had to go bankrupt. After over 80 years these crummy unions brought the company down. Over the decades Hostess provided families with a good job, food on their table, put clothes on their kids back and money for the T.V.'s, furniture, cars, movies and eating out and all the rest of the niceties of life. The fathers, mothers and their children worked at the Hostess plants, generation after generation. But the greedy workers and their lousy union brought an end to Hostess.

I saw on television where some employees were griping about the loss of their job at Hostess. One lady was 60 years old and saying- "What am I going to do now?" "I'm too old to look for a new job." "I've been here 30 years." To that I say, "lady, you cut off your own nose to spite your face."  What did the union people expect? Have Hostess pony up monies they didn't have?

I hope that many of these ex- Hostess employees are out of work for two or three years. Maybe an extended period of being unemployed will be a wake-up call for their greed. I mean, they had a good job, earning money, being provided for by Hostess and their union grinds and grinds Hostess into the ground with their impossible demands. Folks, a job in the hand is better than nothing, especially in these economic times.

And believe it or not the unions now are trying to force Wal-Mart to go union. People that were not Wal-Mart employees were bussed in across states to picket in front of Wal-Mart stores over the Black Friday days.

The Wal-Mart employees know, going in and filling out an application what their salary and benefits are going to be even before they start their first day on the job.So the employee knows what they are getting into before accepting the position. Everybody knows that Wal-Mart is a non-union employer. It is no secret.

I submit that if the person is unhappy about the conditions or terms of employment about working at Wal-Mart they should not apply. If the employee is unhappy working at Wal-Mart  hey! Quit. Go look for a job someplace else. It's like watching T.V., if you don't like the show your watching, "change the channel dimmies." Likewise, if you don't like your job, change it.

Wal-Mart, like Hostess, has been a good business partner in both large and small communities across the country. However the  union fat cats, who only look out for their own good (the hell with employees) continually form mobs around the country  in an attempt to extort Wal-Mart to unionize. Are you happy union? Thousands of people are now out of a job at Hostess.and now you're trying to put tens of thousands of hard working people at Wal-Mart into the street.

My suggestion to Wal-Mart - -Never go union. Your business model is providing security, a paycheck and a good living for millions of people and that is why Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world. Further, if these greedy bottom-feeder unions continue to cause problems do exactly what Hostess did, close the doors. close up. Better yes, send the jobs overseas. Another suggestion, Shut down here in the good ol' USA  and open them up in Canada. I am sure the Canadians would appreciate the jobs. Then if people in the U.S. want to buy from Wal-Mart they can do it on the Internet.

Lets see how the unions and the country react when millions of employees are out in the street looking for a job to feed their families. -  And, that's my opinion. You decide. Make your own decision.

Britney Spears - A TV Show Ventriloquist Dummy

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Britney Spears was caught wearing an ear piece on the show, The X Factor. . Some said that she was wearing the device so she could be told by the producers of the show what to say and how to respond. When asked to explain the ear device Britney and her handlers said it was to tune out the audience noise and applause. What? Are you kidding me? She was asked why then is she only wearing a device in one ear and she babbled out, "I lost the other one." If you believe that, I'll sell all of you readers a bridge in Brooklyn.

Come on! All the other judges put up with audience applause and noise yet they can still judge a contestant. If the producers were paying me ten or twenty million dollars I could put up with audience reaction and still speak for myself with my thoughts and comments. But apparently, the producers would rather spoon feed Spears remarks and comments to her through an ear piece.

Better yet, if the producers of the show paid me the millions this slim no-talent lady is receiving I guess I would also let them use me as a human dummy to a ventriloquist too. Basically that is all she is doing. The producers whisper in her ear through a listening device and have her mouth the words. The producers are nothing more than the ventriloquist and Spears sitting at the table is the dummy parroting the words.

Spears has been given a pass all her life to make up for lack of talent. She never could sing so to make up for the lack of having a singing voice she "lip-synced" the words to songs and people let her get away with it. In fact, people paid millions of dollars over the years to watch a curvy young girl try to dance and pretend to sing. What she called entertaining an audience was nothing more than an elaborate scam. What a joke.

Folks if I were going to pay to see an entertainer in a live performance I would at least expect that person to produce and display their talents. But  to pretend to sing and mouth the words is ridiculous.  I would not pay any so-called entertainer that is pretending to sing a song. Where's the talent?

Now, it appears Britney is getting a pass once again and is paid millions just to sit in a chair, look cute and play ventriloquist dummy to some producer or TV exec whispering in her ear telling her what to say. And people put up with this crap? Like the man said, there's one born everyday. They should put this over the hill teeny-bopper out to pasture. - What ever happened to the entertainment business and real talent? And, that's my opinion. Make up your own mind. You decide.

HIGH GAS PRICES-LAWMAKERS AND BIG OIL ENJOY A  LEWINSKY RELATIONSHIP

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating  you?

Here we go again. Gas Prices at all time highs. What a rip off. The average gas price in California today is $4.668, a gallon. Some places in California are charging $6.00 per gallon. In fact, a gasoline station in Long Beach, California had a price of $6.65 a gallon.

I have been preaching for years that the gasoline market was being illegally manipulated but no one would listen. At the time of my complaint gasoline was selling for $1.34 a gallon. I wrote my representatives in Congress complaining but the politicians response was, with a boiler-plate pre-written letter saying "there is no manipulation of gasoline prices." However, it was amusing that a few months after my complaint Congress called all of the oil company execs  before Congress to explain the reason for high gasoline prices. Those hearing turned out to be a joke. All of those Washington lawmakers ranted and raved before the cameras so they could get their fifteen minutes of face time on TV and then they sent the oil magnates home. The same thing happened a few years later when gas prices rose again. Congress has held two or three hearing and feigned outrage over the last decade but they never, ever do anything to fix the problem.

Hell, when George Bush was running for re-election he was caught being told by the Saudi Royal family that in order to get him elected for a second term OPEC would raise gas prices and then a few weeks before the election they would lower them so the people here in the country would think he was the one responsible for the  lower gasoline prices. Manipulation? You bet.

Mark my words people - -I predict gasoline prices will fall right before election day. But I also predict that once the elections are over the gasoline prices will rise again.

Over the past two decades the oil titans heading up Exxon, Shell and all the other big companies have been playing the shell game of raising prices by fifty, sixty cents or more and then, when people complain the prices drop, BUT only a penny or two. The result -- the oil companies have a new low base. Example, gas was $2.00 gallon, it rose to $2.80 a gallon, but when the oil companies drop the price a few pennies, now they have a new low base of $2.80. Then when they raise it again,- - example $3.25, and then lower it to $3.20, that is their new low base. The oil companies have been playing this game consistently for decades until now people think that if they pay $3.50 cents a gallon they are getting a deal. The sad part is the lawmakers in Washing know and can see what the oil companies are doing by fudging with the price per gallon but since the oil companies buy off both Republicans and Democrats in Congress, they turn a blind eye. Remember these sleazy politicians get their gas paid for on our taxpayer dime and  I would venture to say that most if not all of the lawmakers in Washington are at least a millionaire. If they had to pay for their gasoline to fill their vehicles, they  CAN afford it.

There is no doubt in my mind that the oil companies want to get the price up to $6.00 and $10.00, per gallon. These continued  price spikes and hikes which are followed by the one or two penny drop will continue until the people in this country take to the streets with peaceful protests demanding that the government take action against the entire oil industry.

A suggestion: The government could nationalize some gas stations. Have the government stations set a fair price and the competition with those big oil idiots would cause prices to fall like a rock. Why not? Obama bailed out the auto industry. If the government can run an auto industry why not run some gas stations. Other countries set gasoline prices. A good example is Mexico.

How crazy is this? We taxpayers subsidize these idiots while they make $50 and $60 billion dollars in profit EVERY quarter. What are the lawmakers in Washington doing about the problem? Nothing. A few are asking for an investigation into the matter alleging gas price manipulation.  Rather than taking direct action  the Washington is again calling for a hearing. Come on! Another hearing to have the Congress shout empty threats is a continuation of the "lets pacify the public, like we  understand and are doing something."

The political game also continues. Just ten minutes ago while writing this commentary a news person on the radio announced that the administration said that gasoline prices will come down" by election day."Hear me folks - -they will drop right before election day.

The administration blames the high prices on summer-blending of gas and refinery shutdowns for repairs. That's a bunch of crap people. This is the United States. If the refineries are in disrepair the government should mandate that the refineries have scheduled maintenance which should be inspected by the government regulators on a regular basis. Doesn't it worry the citizens that all of a sudden each and every year the refineries shut down for repairs on each coast. Hasn't the administration and these fat cat oil companies heard of staggering maintenance and repairs so while one refinery is being serviced the other refineries around the country can still provide gasoline without
interruption? And the other excuse by the oil companies saying that there is not  enough refineries. Simple solution. BUILD more refineries. The government should also mandate that there be sufficient refineries scattered throughout the United States. How hard is it to have the  oil companies build an additional two or three refineries on the West coast, an additional two or three on the East coast and one or two additional refineries on the North and South regions of our borders? No one can argue that these money sucking oil companies cannot afford it. They have more than enough funds to build additional refineries and clearly enough monies to keep the refineries in excellent repair.

I say the only thing stopping the additional refineries from being brought on line is because the oil companies doesn't want them and they use their lobbying people to stuff millions of dollars into the pockets of Washington politicians to see it their way.

Folks, we here in the United States shouldn't be paying more than $2.00 a gallon  for gasoline.Remember, when Obama took office gas was priced at $1.34 a gallon. Now it's costing $6.65 in Long Beach, California.

It does not take a rocket scientist to see the political aspect of the price of gasoline. The same gasoline we are paying $3.87 and $6.00 a gallon IS the same gasoline we had at $1.34 a gallon. It certainly hasn't changed. It comes from the same place it has been coming from since the early nineteen hundreds. I recall paying $0.18 cents a gallon for gasoline 1962 and that gas in no different that the gasoline we are now pumping into our gas tanks. The only  thing that has changed is the corruption  and greed in politics. It is no secret that the lawmakers in Washington have a Lewinsky type relationship with the big oil honchos. That has got to stop. We need "people power" to stop this government scam. The people recently showed their power when the credit card companies tried to screw us. There was a change. Why can't we do that again? Let the lawmakers know enough is enough.

If these out of touch politicians would address the bread and butter issues like gasoline prices, high food prices, keeping jobs in the U.S., and actually creating shovel ready jobs by building our bridges, schools, highway's, infrastructure and electrical grids this economy would be  rocking and humming along.- And, that's  opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

OBAMA DID NOT EARN A SECOND TERM-&-
THE OUT-DATED DEBATE FORMAT HAS TO BE CHANGED

 THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

First, I would like to say I voted for Obama. That said, watching Obama's recent first of three presidential debates was like watching a car crash along side a highway. This guy shouldn't be president for a second term. He not only appeared out of it as if he were somewhere on another planet but his answers were the  same old, tired, regurgitated stump speech gobbly-gook. How many times can a person hear, "we need a level playing field, everyone needs a fair shot, a fair shake." Christ, that is the same old babble of yesteryear. He uses it in every speech he makes around the country. We, the American people have heard all of this before.

Obama did not have any original  ideas to add to the debate. He was like a parrot spouting the same old lines. He might as well have said: "Polly wants a cracker." He is said to be an eloquent speaker. I was expecting much more from this intelligent man during a face-to-face battle.

I submit that if Obama really wanted to receive a second term as President of these United States he should have shown clearly and deliberately, with enthusiasm and knowledge that he could stand up to a second term. He did none of that.

Also, these presidential debate formats is obsolete and ready for the trash bin. The format was originated back i the 1960's and they do the candidates no favors. The moderator in this debate should have been sent out to pasture years ago. He may have been a good moderator at one time but PLEASE!!! He let the debate run amok. He had no control over the debate. He allowed the candidates to run over time frames continually. I would say this entire debate format should be given its last rites.

I would suggest that the two candidates be put on a stage, sitting at a table across from one another and allowed o go at it head-to-head discussing different issues. No moderator. Instead, just a person acting as a referee to keep them on point and to prevent them from standing on a soap box and evading the issues of debate.

Folks, a debate is just that, a debate, usually between two people. Each participant has ample opportunity to present their side but this Mickey-Mouse moderated, "I'll ask the question's and you will have two or three minutes to respond" format "IS NOT a DEBATE."  It is a dog and pony show.-And, that is my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Vice-President Joe Biden Comes Across As An  Angry Man

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Vice-President Joe Biden is an angry bird. Over the past few months I have observed him when he speaks to crowds around the country. He fails to speak in a civil, moderate tone, instead, he looks and sounds angry, always  yelling or screaming. If Biden is trying to get a point across it is not one of connecting to a crowd. I submit there is just so much anger, bitterness and and divisive words a person can tolerate.

One would think this guy wakes up angry everyday. I think it would behoove Biden to practice giving speeches in an everyday conversational format. He clearly comes across as an angry old man. He does not do Obama any favors with his constant angry attitude.-- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Mayor Bloomberg is Wrecking New York City.
16 Ounce Sodas? My Advice- BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE.

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS-Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The mayor of New York City is up to his nanny, " I'll take care of you" games-AGAIN. Now he wants to restrict a persons choice as to how much soda they want to drink. Michael Bloomberg now wants all restaurants, fast food, convenience stores, Ball Parks, entertainment gatherings, etc., to only sell sodas and sweet drinks in 16 ounce, or less, containers. Wow! Where is this idiot coming from? Many people enjoy a soda in a 32 or 64 ounce cup. He and his "in the pocket" City Health Department officials banned smoking, then it was trans fats, then calorie counts, and now he and his cohorts dictate how much a person can drink.

Where is the New Yorker's residents outrage? His millions of dollars bought himself a new term in office and at the same time bought him politicians and lawmakers to do his bidding. Now New Yorker's, like sheep, follow him and go along with his crazy ideas.

This country was founded on a person's liberty and freedom. Freedom of choice is a biggie, yet the citizens of New York allow this looney-tune take away their freedom of choice, little by little by declaring "It's for your own good," "It's a health issue."He says, "What I'm doing is good for you." Folks, that is a bunch of gobbly-gook. People can make their own decisions. They have been doing it for decade, even before Bloomberg was born.and the world didn't stop or come to an end. Life went on very well before Bloomberg came on the scene. His nanny state attitude is a detriment to every citizen in the  city of New York, the state and the country as a whole. The nation can do well without these fanatical do-gooders.

This recent Bloomberg fiasco of restricting a persons soda/soft drink consumption will have a large economic detrimental effect on both the large soft drink corporations, distributors, various companies and the small business owner. If it were me and I owned a corporation like Coke, Pepsi  or even a company like Slurpee, I would sue Bloomberg and his Health Department zombies that follow  his bidding.

Hell, this Mayor comes up with crazy ideas to take away a persons "right to choose" and then calls up his Health Department goons who walk in lock step with him, who are beholden to him and they rationalize the ban or law as one that is a health problem.

People, here is here my suggestion to each and every restaurant, convenience store, McDonald's, Wendy's, Jack in the Box, Burger King and every other fast food place in the city. - - - Offer a "BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE." or "BUY ONE, get the second for a PENNY or DIME. So the result: The customer  buys Bloomberg's 16 ounce soda but they wind up with a 32 ounce, since the second is FREE or at a very nominal cost.

A question to ponder- What happens if a customer walks into a grocery store or convenience store and buys a 64 ounce bottle of Coke, Pepsi, 7 - Up, etc, and has his or her  own drinking cup, even a 16 ounce cup? Is Bloomberg going to confiscate the 64 ounce bottle of soda telling the person they can only drink 16 ounces of the soda? I wouldn't put it past him.

The BUY ONE, GET ONE free offer would allow the customer to indulge their desires. The only down side I can see with this idea is that the customer will be carrying more than one cup. Big Deal. At least they would be getting the amount of soda/soft drink they want.

And, finally, a suggestion to the citizens of New York City. Throw this bum out on the street. Use peaceful protest and don't allow this small minded man who has a small mined view of freedom trample your liberties and freedom of choice. If New Yorker's do not put a muzzle on this crazy person, where will it stop? You won't be allowed to eat greasy foods? Will he ban fried chicken, burgers, pizza? Don't forget the sweets - -pies, cakes, candy, ice cream, etc.

Bloomberg is the problem, not the people of New York City. Let him look out for his own health and put whatever he wants in his and his families body and let us people do the same. -  And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Chicago Teachers and All Public Employee's Should Be Let Go. Start Over Lawmakers.

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The Chicago Teachers union is nothing but a bunch of greedy public employees who are always trying to scam the system. Folks, the average teacher in Chicago  already earns a very generous $76,000 a  year, plus all the goodies and benefits that no one in the private sector can ever hope to enjoy.

Just one benefit worth mentioning is the teachers have been grabbing a guaranteed 4 to 7 percent cost of living each year. People! No one in the private sector is "guaranteed" a 4% to 7% bump in salary each and every year just for showing up to work  everyday.. Christ, even the senior citizens on social security who worked all their life had their COLA's cut from 3 percent a year to 1.2 percent a year and for  two years did not receive any cost of living increases. The hard working roofers, carpet layers, waiter's and waitresses, or the 7-11 employees, the sales people in department stores does not ever see a guaranteed cost of living increase in salary. No hard working employee in the private sector is guaranteed job security, let alone cost of living increases of four to seven percent. Those in the private sector are just glad to have a job making $20,000, $30,000 and if lucky, $40,000 a year.

The banks don't even pay 1% interest on peoples savings and these idiot teachers want the private sector taxpayers who are struggling to keep their head above water and put food on the table for their own  family to pay them  $76,000 a year and in addition, boost their teachers salary another four percent a year. These teachers and all public employees pander to the lawmaker's and arrange union contracts that rip off the average working John and Jane Doe to provide themselves with lavish salaries, cost of living increases, free medical for them and their families and an over generous pension until they die. GREED, GREED, GREED is the name of the game for these public employee unions. How much is too much?

If I were Mayor of Chicago I would immediately void all union contracts and start from scratch and hire people with an annual salary like the private sector workers have to depend on. If the city has to  file for bankruptcy to VOID out the union contracts, DO IT.

Have the teachers then work for a reasonable wage like everyone else breaking their back to get by. Cut out the guaranteed cost of living increases, merit pay, free or near free medical for the teachers and their families for life and as to pensions,  the Mayor and the state should have ALL public employees put into a 401(k) retirement plan like the average employee.

Folks, no one in the private sector is guaranteed anything other than a quoted yearly salary and possibly a weeks paid vacation and if the employee doesn't perform and do the job they are fired. Why should these public employees be guaranteed job security, wages, pensions, etc.

My suggestion to the Mayor of Chicago. - - -  Do not buckle to these unions. Re-work all  union contracts and if the teachers and other public employee's doesn't like the terms, hell, fire them, let them quit and go get a job elsewhere. They will soon learn how hard it is out  there in a work force where there is no guarantees. There will be people standing in line for their jobs.

I suggest it was a sad day when lawmakers in states across the nation allowed public employees to unionize. These public unions use their power to influence the politicians and promise to support them in office if, in fact, the lawmaker keeps giving them fat salaries, job security, medical and pensions. I don't know about you folks but I have enough trouble finding ways to pay for my own families medical bills . I surly do not want to pay for  all of these public employees and their families medical  bills for their lifetime.

And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

WAKE UP LAWMAKER'S- LEGALIZE MARIJUANA

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Legalize Drugs: I think there is a good argument to legalize drugs, especially ,Marijuana. Let me start out by saying many, many lawmakers and the administration had said: "We are losing the war on drugs." And, my view is - - -" we are."

Folks, over 70 percent of all illegal drugs coming into the U.S.A. is marijuana. If only that drug, marijuana, was legalized tomorrow it would bring a screeching halt to the gangs on the streets of our country fighting for sale and distribution of marijuana. Second, it would  stop many deaths, some,( was our brave customs agents) on our Southern border..The Mexican narco-gangs are so brazen they actually cross our borders and shoot it out with out agents as they attempt to bring tons and tons of marijuana into the United States in one shipment. If marijuana were legalized in this country the incentive for the crooks would be gone.  A legal product is a "no-go" for the gangs and criminals-NO PROFITS.

If marijuana were legalized and taxed like cigarettes, alcohol,  and other products it would bring billions of dollars into state and Federal coffers. It would prevent kids being recruited into the sale of the drug. You don't see kids standing on the corner selling cigarettes and  booze. Why? Because it is legal.

When something is illegal, that is when you will find both adults and children selling it. One word, "PROHIBITION". When booze was illegal, there were hundreds of killings a year, all over the country.

We had Mafia and organized crime. When alcohol was banned, the criminal gangs run rampant, slaughtering people in  the streets. However, when it became legal, the murder rate dropped to nearly zero for those involved in the illegal alcohol rackets.

Other countries have legalized all type's of drugs, not just marijuana, and it did not throw the nation into ruin. In fact Portugal recently decriminalized every drug, including- - opium, cocaine, crack and other drugs. Guess what?  The number of addicts and drug abusers declined. Me, I am just advocating decriminalizing MARIJUANA in the USA.

Another plus  in legalizing marijuana would the billions of dollars saved by incarcerating millions of people each year. And, the big, big plus would be the billions this country would save on paying law enforcement agents and their agencies for fighting a losing battle with marijuana use. The law enforcement agencies could then give their time and attention to the hard drugs  that are ravaging this country.

There are times I think our administration and  lawmakers in this country do not want to get a handle on the drug war. It appears they want to keep thousands of law-enforcement people on the job, spending billions of dollars on salaries, specialized equipment, conferences, meetings, etc., for their own reasons while admitting that we have lost  the drug war. I submit, that is insane and stupid. The administration, politicians and lawmakers continue to pump  all those dollars that are needed elsewhere into a lost war and expect different results.

If these idiot lawmakers would realize that if they would legalize just "one drug", Marijuana, it would make a big dent in the so-called drug war and at the same time bring in billions of dollars in tax revenue.

Come On! 70% of all illegal drugs  being  brought into this country is marijuana and our lawmakers close their eyes to the fact that they can benefit by controlling the sale and distribution. How dumb is that?

And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Ralph Lauren Olympic Uniform- UPDATE
DO THE RIGHT THING LAUREN
USA Uniforms Can Be Made in 2-Weeks

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS

I received word from a few sources regarding the Olympic uniform fiasco. Ralph Lauren states that he will make all future Olympic uniforms in the USA starting in 2014.  Mr. Ralph  Lauren,  for me, that is not good enough. Folks, Lauren could trash all of the uniforms he  had "Made in China" and immediately replace them with "Made in the USA" label if he wanted too.  Why doesn't he do that? Could it be GREED? Possibly.

According to a few source of mine and ABC News network a complete batch of "Made in the USA" Olympic uniforms could be made in "TWO WEEKS." Mind you, that is not word from one American company but the same time frame was quoted by at least 20 companies. So, my message and suggestion to  Lauren and his shabby company would be. Throw out the Chinese uniforms and have the "MADE IN AMERICA" uniforms done in the two week time span.. That is the only thing that will gain back some of  Ralph Laurens credibility in my eyes.-And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

The U.S. Had 620,000 Fatalities in Our Civil War.
Let Syria Fight Their Own Civil War. We Did.
SYRIA IS NOT OUR FIGHT

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS:

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Why is the United States stirring up the Middle East by sticking our nose into Syria's internal problems? We should not be poking around in  their business. Folks, Syria is not America's problem. It is  not our war. Using U.S. military power and arming insurgents for anti-regime forces "inside Syria's borders is unwarranted.

The U.S. has  had relations with the Assad regime for  about 40 years.. First we dealt with  Bashar's Assad's father and  then  Basher himself. For those many decades things went well. Now, we are war mongering in the region to  impose a democratic society on people that have their own culture and morals, thinking "WE" the USA knows best, telling people how to live.

The uprising in Syria should be left alone and let the people of Syria handle their difference on their own.  Our  lawmakers say a civil war in Syria is evident. I say, SO WHAT. Let the Syrians fight it out among themselves and then we deal with the regime left standing. I think the Syrians are smart enough to fight their own battles in their own country.

CIVIL WAR. People dying. What does the  U.S. lawmakers expect when there is a civil war? People are going to die. Both civilian and military people. If the Syrian people want to rise up and fight for their freedoms let them do it without outside help. Freedom fought with their own hands is freedom earned and appreciated.

People, if you want to talk about "civil war." you need not look any further than us Americans. We had our own hard fought civil war.  Our country was divided - -the North versus the South. What about our fatalities in our own civil war. To refresh some of our lazy Congress people's memory. We Americans lost 620,000 good men  in the American Civil War. Our civil war was one of the most deadliest  in American history. And yes, in addition to those 620,000 deaths don't forget that many civilians lost their lives also.We Americans fought our "Civil War" on our own without troops from other countries settling our differences. The war was fought, North Versus South . The North won and our nation came together, on our own , to prosper and unite. I say, Let Syria  fight their on war. Let them sort out their own government on their own.

Our news media shows a 30 second shot of a wounded child or 100 people are killed in one action.and we express outrage.. What the devil does Obama and our Congress  expect when a civil war is being fought? That is the  fog of war. But it is Syria's war.  Syria has a long way to go to have  620,000 fatalities like we Americans lost in our civil war.

Finally, we should stop being the worlds police force. And we should stop  trying to force our values on other countries. The only thing we are doing by sticking our nose in other countries strife is taking billions of dollars from us taxpayers and throwing it down a never ending hole. Christ, Obama is spending $4 billion dollars a day to fight a war in Afghanistan, one of the most corrupt countries on the planet. It has been ongoing for over 10 years. And, don't forget Iraq. We are still spending billions there each and every day. Also, don't forget the covert actions and undeclared wars we are supporting in Pakistan and Iran. We have military drones , cyber agents  and covert military groups  involved in those countries.

It seems our lawmakers always want to have a war going on so as to take the attention off of all of our domestic problems we are experiencing here at home. All of the billions of tax dollars Obama and our Government lawmakers (both Democrats and Republican) are spending  could be used right here in America, making the country whole again. We have poverty and hunger going on here in the good Ol' USA. We need infrastructure repairs. Our cities are falling apart. Those billions going out every day to these other nations could and "should" be spent here in America . My view is, America first. Then, and only then, if we have some monies left over we can be charitable. The trouble with our Congress and all lawmakers is that if they find or come into an extra $100. dollars,  they spend $150.00. That is no way to run a country. I would say "Charity begins at home. " -And, that is my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Food Prices Up Because of Drought?
Get Water to the Drought Stricken Areas
From Flooded States.

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The news media just yesterday said the country is in a severe drought and because of lack of water crops  like corn is dying. The media went on to say price for food is going to  go up at leas three-percent. Christ, food prices have been rising for the past year.  If the crops in the Midwest  need water then I say, "Get water to the crops." How?  Easy. Transport the water from the states that have it  to the  water starved bread basket of the country. It can't be done you say? Wrong. It can. Currently all over the world we  cart water in water trucks to areas in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries on a daily basis.

Here are some suggestions for out lazy politicians sitting on their butts in Washington. Transport water. At any given time in this country there is a city or state experiencing a flood. Those waters can be used for irrigation in times of drought. The water from the floods in a city or state can be caught and stored in large tanks, above or below the ground. It serves a two fold purpose. First, the water being reclaimed  and put into the storage tanks will give relief to the flooded city or state and  Second,  that water can be  transported to the states like Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, etc., that need the water for their crops. Folks, it is a no-brainer. The water being stored from a flood ravaged area in one state can be stored in tanks or better yet, why not  have a pipe line system transport water from state to state  when required. The idea of- - we have a drought so  the farmers are going to raise food prices is unacceptable. The problem with that is when the food prices are raised, they stay up and never, ever, come back down. The farmers and yes, the government, hate to reduce the food  prices once they got their raise. The food prices always go up but they never come back down once the freeze, drought, or whatever is over. It's not unlike the government saying "we're going to impose a temporary tax." "It's just temporary." But once  the tax is there, "IT IS NEVER TEMPORARY." It is there for ever. Never reversed.

It would be cheaper in the long run to lay pipe lines between states to transfer needed water to irrigate and feed the drought infested areas or  even cheaper to  build large water tank storage areas above and below ground for use in emergency drought times. People, it would not take that much to have water shifted from flood ravaged areas to areas that need it. If the crops have the water needed to have them produce there would be no reason to constantly use the excuse " we have to raise food prices." It seems our country does not plan ahead for emergencies or disasters. Instead, the government always acts "after the fact." and then squeals that someone should have seen the problem coming. The result, the politicians pass  the buck and say they will form a committees to investigate the problem. What a joke.

If our government can transport convoy's of tanker trucks full of water to people in other countries, why not here? We have the technology and skills. And if  the water transport pipe lines or  storage tanks were  built in different states across the country that would put tens of thousands of people to work. It would be a win, win situation and another upside would be  food prices could remain stable. And, - that is my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Olympic Team USA Uniforms Should Be Trashed.
The Olympic Committee & Greedy Clothes Designers Should Be Ashamed.

THE KUHNS REPORT
___________________

LAS VEGAS:

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The Olympics Committee had team USA uniforms made in CHINA?  What a bonehead move.We have plenty of garment manufacturers here in the Good Ol' USA and those workers certainly could have used the jobs. What is Ralph Lauren thinking. Here's a guy that made a name for himself as a designer but has no qualms about  having his stuff made in CHINA. Talk about cheap. This has been designer takes the cake.   Because of his celebrity  and to save a buck and for personal gain and profit has the garments  "Made in China."- I wonder why the well known celebrities  buy his crap? They should boycott it. Who wants to wear clothes that are made on the cheap in  another country. But I guess that says a lot for these celebrities that swoon and pander to this clothes designer. Folks, did you see the Team USA uniforms? They look silly and stupid. Instead of a "French Beret" the team could wear a cap like the  USA World War II military wore and carried on their shoulder when they were not wearing them ( color optional) to match  a blazer. The cap could have a USA insignia emblazoned on it . Even a USA  white sailor cap with a USA insignia  would look very smart with any color blazer. Last but not least , as a suggestion - - Have the USA team where a "Cowboy" hat. Again (color optional). If that isn't American and tells the world that the team is USA, I don't know what is. And, all of the Olympic uniforms should  be "MADE IN AMERICA", Period.

What is it with our country and these big companies and institutions  "outsourcing " good jobs to CHINA and elsewhere? This outsourcing of garments, shoes, and all the other items that can clearly be manufactured and"Made in the USA" has to stop. Congress should take steps to have these clothing manufacturers make their items  here in America. These big clothing designers like  Lauren are a blight on America. They lack patriotism , concern and love of the United  States all in the name of greed and profit.

Hell, people. A first year college student studying design could have designed a better looking uniform that this alleged famous designer. And Lauren is going to sell  the uniforms for a couple grand or more. COME ON! In my opinion, Lauren and other designers of his ilk had their day decades ago. I think people should refuse to continue to support these designers that offer expensive clothes that in reality are nothing more than a cheaply made, flimsy excuse for a quality garment. People across the country should  demand that these current Olympic uniforms be done over and "MADE IN THE USA." And, - That's my opinion, Make your own decisions. You decide.

IT'S TIME FOR NEW YORKER'S TO BAN MAYOR BLOOMBERG
HE SHOULD GET A LIFE

THE KUHNS REPORT
___________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Downsizing and restricting soft drinks to 16 ounces "could" curb obesity consumption say New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He and his puppet regime , the  "Health and Human Services Commission and Thomas Farley continue to chip away at peoples freedom and choice. To rationalize  his ban he falls back on the " Beating the dead Horse" argument "It's a health issue." That's baloney. Everything a person eats or drinks is a health issue. Could  and should can be interpreted in many ways. Bloomberg's pastrami and corn beef sandwiches he eats COULD , and is, a health issue, his tea or coffee COULD, and is, a health issue. desserts he, his family and relatives consume  COULD, and is, a health issue.

This guy, with his billions of dollars bought himself an extra term in office is nothing more that a dictator. He  waves his hand and mandates what is good for New Yorkers telling them what they can eat and drink and,  how much. First Bloomberg banned smoking in the city's bars, restaurants, parks and beaches. Why? Because he was a non-smoker. Talk about a conflict of interest? He had his own personal agenda and because he was a nonsmoker he  banned tobacco use for everyone in the city. If he were  honest he would admit it. He called in favors  using his power and money and instructed his Health and Human Services zombies who do not want to offend him to control Trans Fats for everyone in the city. That not being enough, he  again ordered his zombie Health Service people to regulate calories, and now - - SODA.

This guy reminds me of  those small inadequate leaders in Korea and Iran who pass laws, institute bans and mandates telling their people what they can eat, drink and how to live. Those dictators, not unlike Bloomberg tells their people it is for their own good and that he is looking out after them. He says he knows what is good for them. WOW!

Why is it that all these small inadequate leaders try to make up for their own inadequacies by using  their money and power to control people and their behavior? Bloomberg's close circle of friends and colleagues have been rubber stamping all of his demands and wishes  much too long. He is a small man, with a small mind who has a small view of the world about what this great country was founded on- - life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness AND freedom of choice.

When are the people of New York City going to say, "enough is enough?" Wake up New Yorker's. Quit being  a bunch of sheep.Ba, Ba, Ba, - -stop following Bloomberg's destructive bans. Stripping people of their freedom of choice like this little  wanna-be do-gooder has been doing is  tearing down America,

Mark my word: If  New Yorker's do not stand up to this little man his next move will be how much food   and what  food you are allowed to eat. It will not stop with burgers, bacon, pies, cakes, and anything  Bloomberg feels can bring on diabetes, high blood pressure and heart problems.

BUT PEOPLE, there are literally thousands and thousands  of  food and drink items that might contribute to anyone being diagnosed with those ailments Bloomberg drags out  and holds up as an example for his crazy silly bans.

Parents can educate their children as to what foods  and how much they want them to eat and adults are smart enough to make their own choices. In this country, for centuries,  the free American people have been doing just fine making their own choices. Instead of passing bans on  food and drink, or for that fact, any legal product that a person might want to put into their body our lawmakers should do what they already have been  doing for decades. Just put warning labels on the product and allow the people to make up their own mind as to whether they was to consume it. Warning labels is all the American people need. What we do not need is a little Napoleon running amok in or society, using their money and power to enjoy what they like while at the same time suppressing what others might like.

Finally, the people of  New York and other states all around the country should rise up in peaceful protest and demonstrate their opposition to the Big Brother, Nanny state mentality.I say if, little guy, Bloomberg,  doesn't want to drink more that 16 ounces of Soda, eat Trans Fat,  enjoy a fine cigar or a cigarette, -- or wants to keep his calorie count down that is certainly his choice and rightly so. But it is not his prerogative to dictate and his force his personal likes and dislikes on the rest of us.

People are going to live and die each and every day like they have been doing since the beginning of time by way of making their own choices and lifestyle throughout their life. That's the cycle of life. Bloomberg's doctrine is lame and it stinks. And,-  that is my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

USA Wants to Stir the Pot Again;Iran is the Target

THE KUHNS REPORT
_______________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Here we go again folks. The Administration is trying to beat war drums pointed toward Iran.

Hasn't the lawmakers learned anything from the lies and deceptions that brought about the Iraq war?

Lets see, there was accusations of yellow cake; the scare of mushroom clouds;lies that Saddam aided and abetted the 9/11 attack in New York City; and, remember the bold faced lies by Colin Powell who went before Congress and said with a straight face that there were (WMD's) weapons of mass destruction being dragged around in trailers.

People. now Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State goes before the world media and begins to threaten Iran with the power of the presidency behind her. Clinton states that Iran was behind an assassination plot to take out the Saudi ambassador to the United States on American soil? Whoa! Does that sound familiar? A bag full of allegations, inuendo and suppositions to rally up the masses and stir the pot.

The administration says, the United States considers the alleged plot to be an act of terrorism so using terrorism as the catalyst the United States is attempting to gain a coalition involving other nations to support the United states argument.

The United States said they foiled the plot. But did they? Or, is it another make believe scenario to ratchet up another war or attack on another regime for the sole purpose of taking the countries mind off of its domestic and foreign problems?

I would suggest that those other countries that the United States does approach to listen to their song and patter should look at the materials and statements with a jaundice eye. I trust that China and Russia are skeptical and as to our allies like France and the U.K., I would say DO NOT be a lap dog and jump on the bandwagon like Blair did in the Iraq war.

Why? Look at what happened in the Iraq fiasco. The war was built on total fabrication and lies by lawmakers in the United States. For example, the U.S. continued to beat the war drums against Iraq and tell the people of this nation that Iraq had nuclear weapons. What the U.S. didn't tell its people was that Iraq quit and shut down its nuclear program way back in 1991. However, in March 2003, we, the United States invaded Iraq using that rationalization.

Then, the lawmakers and administration proclaimed that there were secret meeting by Iraq and other powers to obtain yellow cake so that nukes could be advanced. The administration continued to beat the war drums and have high level individuals in the administration even go before Congress to promote outright lies in order to gain support for their views as to why the United States should invade another sovereign nation.

Once the Iraq war was on there were more than 100,000 people killed because of our action and most of those that died were Iraqi civilians.

Remember the snitch that informed to our government that Iraq had WMD's. This guys code name was "Curveball" and using him, I have to say the administration did throw up citizens a curveball. This is the guy that the United States believed and chose to act on his false statements even though many in government has their doubts and misgivings about this idiot.. But, the U.S. wanted to go to war and this man's statements were another justification.

This informant, "Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi"later told this government and other foreign nations that he actually lied to everyone about the state of Iraq's government, facilities, military and weapons because he did not like Saddam and had a grudge against him.

Can you imagine , a country like the United States allowing one man to advise the lawmakers and President with lies and falsehoods so as to justify a war the administration wanted to engage in?

So, people of the United States and any foreign nation abroad - - - be skeptical of the words coming out of the mouths of our lawmakers when it come to taking action against another nation, PLEASE. Don't we learn by our mistakes?

The practice in this country used to be: when a crime is "committed", then we go after the culprit and bring them to justice. It should not be our practice to initiate any preemptive action against anyone or any country on "something that might have happened." My view is that when the act itself happens, whether it be robbery, rape, burglary, murder, arson or assassination, then you take action and handle it. Once the crime has been committed then you gather the evidence and go out and arrest the perpetrator(s). No one person or country should be allowed to think that a crime "might be committed." That is the kind of crazy and inappropriate thinking that got us into the Iraq war. Now we are in three wars. Those being: Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Isn't three wars enough for this administration? Now,, they want to ramp up support to attack Iran.

Did it ever occur to most of you that every time the United States is having domestic difficulty and cannot solve the problems here at home the administration starts a war? It's happened over and over again in the past. The Congess and lawmakers want to take the heat of their their own bumbling in-actions and their failure to address the problems we may be experiencing here at home so their watch word is :"WAR" or "CONFLICT with another nation. Their feeling is that if the countries mind is on a war or foreign conflict, the people will rally around the lawmakers for support and put aside any home grown problems. And, who makes out on that approach to solving problems? The military defense firms, the corporations, the banks, and of course the lawmakers who are hoping to retain their seats in power.

I would suggest that the people of this country hold our lawmakers feet to the fire and insist that they do not lie to the American people as they have done in the past and using the guise of war or threats of invasion or preemptive strikes to circumvent the real problems here at home while hoping all the while that they will retain their power in government. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

PRESIDENT OBAMBA  PANDERS FOR THE GAY VOTE
"A HAIL MARY MOVE FOR RE-ELECTION"

THE KUHNS REPORT
___________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America and how is the world treating you?

Obama stands up for gay marriage? The first sitting president in history who decided to stick his nose in a social issue as hot as "gay marriage. Is there a  method to his madness? You bet!

Folks, I see president Obama's move as a way of doing everything he can to win reelection.. This is a political move on his part. In the past he opposed gay marriage. He was adamant about his feelings toward marriage and expressed them over and over while running for president.  Now, he flip-flops and says he found the light. Hallelujah !! According to him "today" Gay marriage is a good thing.

Obama even has the gall to use his daughters as a pawn in his move to accept gay marriage. He said he was  hit with this wonderous revelation only after he talked with his children.. It appears Obama and his ilk will do anything to  be reelected. I see his move as pandering for votes from the gay communities across the nation. Nothing more, nothing less.

Even after he appeared on television saying gay marriage is okay he still waffled and rationalized his decision and parsed words to try to strike a middle ground. But he should know that there is nothing like half pregnant. "Your either pregnant or your not." You can't have it both ways Mr.  President.

People, if you believe that Obama's new found acceptance for gay marriage is not a play for votes from one segment of society - - do you wanna buy a bridge in Brooklyn? Such a deal.---

And, that's my opinion. Make up your own minds. You decide.

Secret Service Director Sullivan Gives G-Men Slap on Wrist

THE KUHNS REPORT

________________

LAS VEGAS:

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Three Secret Service agents were disciplined. But not enough. Again, it's another example of the government protecting their own. The agencies director, Mark Sullivan issued a slap on the wrist as far as I'm concerned. Was it punishment to fit the crime? No way, director Sullivan.

Yes, the three agents were ousted but two of them were allowed to leave the agency in a way that will allow them to go out and be rehired by other agencies. That shouldn't be. My view, all "eleven agents" should have been fired, IMMEDIATELY.

One supervising agent was allowed to retire. I say, it shouldn't have happen. This guy can now received a large, lucrative pension that we taxpayers are on the hook for. We'll be paying him for the rest of his life. And don't forget, we'll have to pay for his health care and other benefits that the Feds lavish on their employees. Plus, he can now go out and get another job in law-enforcement and continue his bad behavior. On the other hand, if the agent was "fired", he could have lost all of his retirement goodies and benefits and it would be a matter of record when a prospective employer and/or agency checked his background. A slap on the wrist for this agent by the Secret Service ? You bet!

A second agent was allowed to resign. This man can also go out and get a job with another agency and have no mention of his misdeeds anywhere in his record. When asked why he left his last job all he has to say is "I resigned." What a joke.

The third agent was fired for cause. Hooray? Finally, a firing. There are a lot of people in Congress and across the country that believe all eleven agents should be fired, which includes one presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. And, he's right. The firings should have been undertaken as soon as the men were recalled back to the states. These federal agents had violated a number of rules and regulations that was a firing offense. Fast, swift justice should have been meted out then and there. Instead the Congress people who pander to special interests decided to have a dog and pony "see me on television" hearing.

We taxpayers shouldn't have to be paying large pensions to these corrupt, drunken agents. They should have been fired and all benefits of the job taken away.

Again, Obama, the administration and Congress are playing games with us taxpayers leaving us to pay the tab while they cover for the federal employees. Shame on them. Kudos to Romney for saying he would have fired the agents. Too bad he isn't president now. Justice would have been served.

As for the ten military personnel that were involved in this sorid mess. Punishment should be reduction in rank, a bad conduct discharge and the loss of all of future military benefits.

I said it before and I'll say it again, when other government agents or military personnel see that severe and swift punishment is handed out for wrongdoing they will think twice before committing such acts. No one wants to lose their jobs, positions and pensions and I suggest that if the morons know that is the price they had to pay, they wouldn't participate in wrongdoing. And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide

Another government boondoggle. Our government money is being spent by the United States Secret Service on prostitutes. Wow! These federal agents, at least eleven of them was tasked to fly to South America to set up security for President Obama. However, idle hands make for idle, stupid minds. Rather, than take care of the plan and coordinate security with the foreign government these idiots decided to party in sleazy nightclubs, getting snockered and down and out drunk, according to employees of the shabby, low class club. They then hired a number of prostitutes and whisk them back to their rooms at the El Caribe hotel.

And like any sex crazed, trolling John's on the street, at least two of the Secret Service agents tried to stiff the prostitute out of a $50.00 tab after they enjoyed her services throughout the night. They refused pay. What cheapskates. These secret service agents had class - -BUT, it was all fourth class.

To his credit, the director of the Secret Service acted swiftly and recalled the drunken revelers back to the states and replaced them with a new crew of agents. Folks, this is how our tax money is spent. These agents and all other "public employees" have the attitude that they are an entitled group that can fleece and spend our money for their travels, vacations and conventions without any thought to looking out for the taxpayer.

If it were me, and I was the boss of a company or business and my employees neglected and ignored their job duties that they were expected to carry out with diligence and competence, they would be gone, history, FIRED on the spot. I would tell them to find employment elsewhere telling them the gravy train was over. In this case Obama is the boss. He should "immediately "fire" these eleven federal agents. But instead what does he do? He calls for an investigation and says he will wait to see. Wait and see? What? They clearly did the crime and they should do the time. That being - -FIRED. No second chances and certainly no soft slap on the wrist. These people do not deserve to be agents and allowed to draw an over the top salary, lucrative benefits and retirement monies and pensions. It is as clear as the nose on his face. These agents were literally caught with their pants down. In fact, witnesses stepped forward telling what actually had occurred. Whatever happened to "the buck stops here? " With a swipe of a pen, Obama could have had these guys off the job and out the door within hours after receiving word of their indiscretions. But, no! Politics comes first.

Remember, years ago when the federal employee Air Traffic Controls got out of hand, President Reagan didn't take any crap. He fired all of the air traffic controller's in the country, on the spot, and hired all new people. I submit President Obama can do the same thing and fire them instead of having Congress have a dog and pony show at playing to investigate the situation just to get their mugs before the cameras.

I suggest that if president Obama would have immediately taken decisive "ACTION" and fired all of the agents, the matter would have been resolved then and there. Further you can bet that any other Secret Service agent even contemplating hiring a hooker, drinking booze until they were drunk and being a down right moron would think twice knowing that their actions would be cause for IMMEDIATE dismissal.

People, based on these secret service agents blatant actions I would guess that the Secret Service agents had did these things before. I suspect that these and others in the agency adopted this culture as a right of passage. It was so easy for them as they openly partied it up, became loud and obnoxious and topped the evening off with whore-mongering. I have no doubt that these federal agents were predisposed to do what they did.

Like the GSA, the Secret Service is using our money as their own private piggy bank. For example, one of the high ranking administrator's at GSA, Jeff Neely, spent $823,000 on a junket to Las Vegas. for his federal employee's. Christ, over $2,000 a night for a suite at the hotel. Can you believe it? Our money. This loser also told his piggy federal employees : "let's spend it while we got it and can do it." The culture of the Federal government at work folks - - - Yet when Neely was questioned about the matter by Congress he refused to answer any questions, he took the Fifth, and didn't show up the next day for questioning. That is why these lame hearing are only a kabuki dance for the politicians pandering for votes. Neely and every employee that attended the conference in Las Vegas should have been "fired", on the spot when this scam came to light. I say, that is the only way other public employees will get the message that when they scam, cheat, steal, etc., they will LOSE THEIR JOB - -no if, and, or but. Once they have to pound the pavement looking for a real job they'll have a different outlook on how hard it is to survive in the real world. - And, that's my opinion. Make up your own mind, you decide.

GSA Scandal-Outrageous-Fire All Who Attended

THE KUHNS REPORT
________________

LAS VEGAS:

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The government blows over $823,000 of our taxpayer money on a junket to Las Vegas. The idiots at the General Services Administration even video taped themselves in this fiasco. Christ, a mind reader, costing $3200.00 was hired to entertain for these greedy, lazy, drunken public employees. I venture to say anyone could hire a mind reader for only a few hundred dollars. The GSA employees were so piggish they spent $6,000 just for sushi. They also spent hundreds of dollars per plate of food. And booze, wow! One female employee , one of the lushes on the video was bragging how much she liked the alcohol. Others in the video talked about how they enjoyed wasting taxpayer money for their own pleasures. It should be noted also that the GSA sent an official out to Las Vegas at a cost of at least $100,000 just to scout out the the luxury vacation that they dubbed a training seminar.

People, this kind of extravagance should never, ever have occurred and then found out two years after the fact. Where's the accountability? In the private sector, on most any job, if one employee or a number of employees are scheduled for a training seminar, it includes the name of each employee scheduled to attend, the cost of lodging and meals and travel for each employee. That information goes to the company controller or financial officer FOR APPROVAL. There is no controller, financial officer or boss of any company that I'm aware of that would approve forty dollars for one shrimp on a plate or over a hundred dollars for a plate of food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And you could be sure that the company would question a cost of $3200.00 for a mind readers act. The entire planned , (Ha, ha) training seminar should have been denied by the managers, supervisors and the administrators as the request went up the chain of command for such a trip. Who gave the okay for this trip? Who's name(s) or initials and dates were on the paperwork as it was being approved? There shouldn't have been any lag time from 2008 to 2010 for someone in authority to see that the cost of the trip was over $800,000.00.

I would think any company boss or any reasonable, prudent person would want to know how much a trip, vacation, or seminar would cost them, (to the penny) , before they allowed anyone to embark on the trip.

The GSA also spent more of our tax money on a grab bag of expensive gifts for their employees each year. There were high end Ipod, tablets, electronics, and other items. And, believe it or not they are still awarding the expensive gifts to the employees. I ask you, what company in the private sector spends tens of thousands of dollars on bonus gifts for their employees? You would be hard pressed to find many. Folks, it's very easy to spend other peoples money instead of your own and these morons at the GSA and other government public employees spend like a drunken sailor with our tax dollars and then have the arrogance to brag about it. They indeed feel entitled, for whatever reason.

Hell, President Reagan, with a stroke of a pen fired everyone of the Air Traffic Controllers when they demanded too much money and benefits. Once those air traffic controller's lost their job they realized how good they had it. They sniveled and moaned but they brought it on themselves. President Reagan then hired new controllers for less salary and benefits.

I suggest that if this administration had a backbone President Obama would use the power of his pen and fire these entrenched government employees and start from square one again. There are tens of thousands of job applicants waiting in line that could fill the positions for less money and benefits and would be happy to do the job.

This administration has the idea that our taxpayer money is their own private piggy bank which they raid and spread around willy-nilly. Even though the head of the GSA and two others were forced to resign, I say that's not enough. The few hundred employees that attended this $800,000 romp should be fired, "IMMEDIATELY." The video was very clear that the attendees didn't care one bit about the cost of the trip. They relished in the fact that they were gaming and cheating us taxpayers.

Each government agencies should be mandated to have a committee that can be held responsible for the review of each and every trip, party, training session or seminar by their employees. Those same committee members should be instructed to go over each and every expense for the occasion, prior to the trip. I predict that if such a committee for each government agency was required there would be no way any agency could blow close to a million dollars on ONE trip.

My view is that these federal employees as well as all public employees should be reined in. It is these powerful public employee unions that are causing cities and states across the country to go belly up. The public employees are milking the system with their total disregard for anyone but themselves. IT HAS TO STOP. Look at Greece, it's public employees being payed over generous salaries, pensions and retirements brought the country to it's knees. Italy, Portugal and Ireland are all in the same bag and it won't be long before the United States will follow in those European countries footsteps. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions, you decide.

Organ Transplant System Isn't Fair-Cheney Favoritism

THE KUHNS REPORT
________________

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

On March 24, 2012, former Vice-President Dick Cheney, a seventy-one (71) year old man received a heart transplant. Did he get special treatment? Some think so. I personally know a person who had a double transplant, a heart and lungs. He was in his early sixties at the time and according to him, was told by doctors that the cut off date for any person to get a heart transplant was sixty-five (65) years-old and he made the cut by the skin of his teeth. However, after Cheney received the transplant some media heads purport that the the cut off age was seventy years old. Huh? Then, get this, another report on the evening news on 03/25/2012 said that doctors said a 71 year old man was within the age range to receive a heart transplant.

It's amusing how the medical transplant people can fudge and manipulate age in order to rationalize Cheney's heart transplant. I predict the medical ethics of Cheney's heart transplant will be a case study for years.

Folks, there were thousands of "young" people who were in line for the heart. As the situation stands at the present time transplant protocol is generally based on: time on the waiting list, a medical need and where a person lives determines the odds of receiving a new heart.

Cheney received his transplant in Falls Church, VA, the same place he got an implanted heart pump that had been keeping him alive since July 2010. Please note that the implanted heart pump is not a permanent fix. It is recommended the patient wear it for only (two years) . Surprise, surprise, Cheney receives a heart when the limits of the implanted heart pump was going to go belly-up. Coincidence? Maybe! Who knows? It just seems a little strange to me that all of a sudden he is reported to have been on a transplant list to coincide with the heart pump use limits and then had climbed to the top of the list for a new heart over younger patients where the survival rate would be more acceptable.

Remember, Cheney had severe congested heart failure and on top of that has had at least (five) heart attacks over the span of 25 years. He also experienced a large number of heart procedures such as: heart bypasses, angioplasty, pacemakers and surgery on his legs. Does that sound like the man is in good shape? Were there other patients awaiting a heart without so many detriments who could tolerate the stresses of the surgery and fight off the organ rejection factors? I would say, "yes."

Folks, with all of the past procedures Cheney has undergone to fight the congestive heart failure it is obvious that they took their toll on his body. Plus, the man is well over the upper limits to receive a new heart. Currently there are more than three thousand (3,000) Americans waiting for a new heart. About 330 of those waiting die each year before a new heart becomes available.

The organ transplant list is said to be a very regimented, fair process. The administrators say the lists are policed very closely. Personally, I have my doubts about that. Talk is cheap. Do you really think that the people handling the organ transplant lists cannot be swayed one way or the other for reasons only know to them or their group(s). Do some of the officials and health care personnel have an agenda? Could be. Could a person be moved up on the list? Have they been? Anything is possible. Has the health care people manipulated the health care system before? Yes, and it happens everyday in the health field.

Example: Just look at how the medicare program is ripped off each and every day for millions, even billions of dollars by people in the heath care field. There isn't a day that goes by that you cannot read in your local news about some person in the health field looking to scam the system for money, favoritism or prestige. Not in the too distant past, in Las Vegas, doctor Dipak Desai wanted to cut corners and he and some of his clinic employees (nurses) caused the largest Hepatitis outbreak in history by reusing syringes and needles on patients. Not long after that it was found other clinics and hospitals around the country were doing the same thing. Then, lets not forget the 100,000 or more deaths that are caused in hospitals by the health care professionals due to their errors.

In any event, back to the heart transplant list issue. Patients can get on more than one list if they have the bucks to afford the medical tests that each center may require to ensure eligibility. People with money, worldwide recognition, celebrity and/or power have indeed gamed the system.

Example: Robert Casey, former Governor of Pennsylvania was told he needed a double transplant in 1993. Guess what, the next day he received it. Does some people know how to work the system? Could be. And don't forget Mickey Mantle, the New York Yankee center fielder. It was 1995-when he was told he was critical. He was put on the waiting list and within 48 hours in Dallas, Texas he had a new liver. Keep in mind that in 1995, in Texas, the average wait on the list was 183 days. Was it money, fame, what? Then there was the couple that went on the Phil Donahue television Show and pleaded with the viewing audience for a heart for their dying son. During the show the couple received a call from a hospital in Michigan saying they would "donate' a heart to Loma Linda hospital for the child. The parents flew back to California to receive the donated heart. The sad part is- there was a baby in Kentucky that was on the top of the list for the heart.

People, that is just some examples of manipulation of the organ donor system that I see. I, for one, clearly don't have confidence in the lists and system itself. To me it resembles the legal system where two sets of laws apply - - one for the rich and famous and one for the little people. Do I think Cheney received favoritism over and above the thousand of others waiting for a new heart? Yes. Do I think he was well over the age-limit to receive a new heart? Yes. Do I think there might have been other people on the list more deserving both physically and emotionally than Cheney? Yes. Do I think Cheney was too sick and too old for the new heart? Yes. -And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions in this matter. You decide.

Govt. Running Vile,Disgusting Ads: We Don't Need it.

THE KUHNS REPORT
________________

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services along with the Center for Disease Control went on television and announced that they are going to release a series of disgusting and vile videos showing people dying, allegedly from smoking cigarettes. . They claim the shock value will make people stop smoking. Wrong! All these videos will do will turn off people from watching television and if some of those people are one of the millions that continue to smoke it will only enrage them and cause them to use their middle finger to flip off our government agencies for splashing the gross, ugly, videos across the television screen.

A message to those government officials that came up with this screwy idea. Hey government people, there is already a warning label on every pack of cigarettes in the country. Everyone knows it is a bad idea to smoke and most American can read a label. That should be sufficient.

The Federal court already threw out the governments attempt to put these grossly offensive photos on a pack of cigarettes. Yet, these same do-good government flunkies are attempting an end run by trying the television route.

Their ad implies that more people die from smoking cigarettes than from any other cause. WRONG AGAIN! And they ( HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES and CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL) of all people, should know that. The biggest killer in the "world" is "HEART TROUBLE." Yet, they want to be dishonest and lie to the American public for the sake of shock value.

People, I don't know about you but I don't want to be sitting at home, enjoying dinner and see one of these repulsive, nauseating, sickening ads pop up oi my screen. I certainly don't want any of my family members, especially children to be exposed to, and see these sleazy ads.

Also, I pay good money (maybe a little too much) to these cable companies to provide me and family members with television programming. I certainly "do not" pay them to transmit abominate , filthy despicable photographs and/or videos of persons dying or on the verge of dying. If I want to see horrid video or programming I have a choice from my selection from the cable companies. It is and will be my choice. I "do not" need disgraceful, foul, loathsome advertisements intruding on my home, (my castle) by way of the government saying they have a right to force them onto my television screen.

What is the next government intrusion to control behavior going to be? Will they want to run television ads showing obese people in disgraceful, nasty end stages of life and spout a party line that hamburgers, pies, cakes and candy are killing you?

Folks, we all know that things are bad for us and may affect our health but we as Americans have an inalienable right to make those choices as to what legal substances, food or drink we put into our own body.

Christ, 1/3 (32%) of all traffic deaths in the country are alcohol related. Alcohol also kills 75,000 people a year and it is well known that alcohol shortens lives. Speaking of alcohol. In 2001, alcohol killed at least 34, 833 people just from cirrhosis of the liver and cancer. So, if we use the same shock methods that the government is using to curb smoking - - why not show peoples rotting livers and cancer infested bodies of alcoholics? There is no difference, is there?

My point, - as a person who has worked in the health field for years I can say: People die everyday from a myriad of ailments, diseases and illness. People die of cancer from many different factors. IT IS NOT ALL FROM SMOKING CIGARETTES. Even some medication people are legally taking will cause them to have cancers of all types, tumors, heart ailments, blindness and many other fatal consequences.

We, as Americans do not need some government official attempting to scare and frighten all of us by saturating the airwaves with insulting, graphic pictures showing people dying.

Some of my suggestions on these vicious, vulgar depictions is:

First, the people should rise up and complain to their lawmakers to have the government stop this ludicrous advertisement campaign regarding the smoking public. They should keep their nose out of the private lives of people. There is no reason whatsoever to show sick and dying people to make a point. Second, people should file a lawsuit against the government agencies involved in this fiasco, especially if it makes anyone in their family sick (physically or mentally) from viewing one of these force fed advertisements.

Side note: The harm these wretched cigarette control ads will have on children cannot be understated.

And, finally, if the cable company(s) or television stations in any persons city and/or town airs these worthless ads in the homes of their television subscribers (without express permission) from the homeowner, those cable companies and television stations should be held accountable in a court of law for the ads content and any possible harm to household residents. In addition the television viewer should boycott and not watch any television program that airs the advertisements during their show and they should advise their friends, relatives and associates to do the same.

I , for one, certainly will not support a television show that chooses to run ads depicting the photos and videos of sick, dying, people for the sole purpose to promote a government agenda. - And, that's my opinion. I leave you to make your own decisions. You decide.
