THE ADMINISTRATION USING SYRIA AS AN EXCUSE FOR MILITARY ACTION.
TO KEEP OUR MINDS OFF OUR OWN DOMESTIC PROBLEMS.
______________________________________________________________________

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Here we go again. The administration is saber rattling and provoking another full blown war. The hawks in the administration are screaming that Syria is using chemical weapons. Really? Where's the proof. The Syrian government said that the rebels has used chemical weapons but the U.S. doesn't want to hear that argument.

That info doesn't matter to the old, grey-haired, over the hill politicians, like Senator John McCain , that has been in Washington for  decades from flexing their stunted brain power screaming for United States military action against Syria. Don't these idiots learn from past mistakes. Not in the too distant past their misinformation had them bomb factories in other countries saying there were chemical weapons  in the building but  after the bombing our Washington  armchair warriors found out that there was "No" chemical weapons. But the destruction and death caused by the bombings were chalked up to collateral damage.

McCain is yelling his head off like "chicken little" saying, "Syria crossed the "RED LINE" and the United States should immediately bomb Syria. And then to promote his view he is DARING Obama to use military action. He and his war mongering colleagues are saying that if Obama doesn't take action and use military force against Syria after Obama  stated that use of chemical weapons would be a game changer in the Syria situation it would be an embarrassment to the United States.

These out of step politicians that have a mind set of an old dinosaur are acting like a bunch of kids daring countries to knock the chip off of each shoulder.

What McCain and  his ilk should remember is "don't go off half cocked. I submit that if they keep daring Syria and provoking military action  Bashar al-Assad will  actually pull the pin on his chemical weapons arsenal with reasoning of: "What do I have to lose."

Boxed in a corner and accused of using the chemical weapons he might decide to unleash those weapons on his countrymen and  neighboring countries - - ALL BECAUSE of our Washington idiots pushing for military action in a civil war that is none of our business.

I have always said , let these warring countries fight their own civil wars and then when the dust clears and there is a winner who comes out on top that is the regime we, the United States, deals with.

Sticking our nose into other countries internal conflicts and spending billions of our tax dollars supporting regimes that we think we want in a particular country is WRONG!

My thought is that when our administration and our political dummies on the hill want to take our   mind away from such things as high gas prices, high food prices, poverty in America, transportation costs, border security, immigration, etc., they get us mired down in another war or conflict in another country telling the masses that it is a matter of National Security and a threat against America in order to take our mind off of  our serious domestic problems we have here at home in the good ol' USA. Mark my words, its only a matter of time, the near future, that the lawmakers in Washington take military action and has weapons inside Syria while rationalizing the operation to the American people as a "must do" operaton. What a joke. - - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

CAL FED, CITI BANK & ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY? I WOULDN'T DEAL WITH THEM, WOULD YOU?

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Here is my opinion piece about some financial firms that did  a number on me. I wonder how many other people they took advantage of. I will never, ever again use the financial services in a bank and/or savings and loan. I would suggest anyone thinking about dealing with the financial service department of any bank or savings and loan check it out thoroughly before you invest.

Let me tell you of a personal experience I myself got caught up in.

I bought an annuity product with CAL FED Savings & Loan, the savings and loan company I had  a checking and saving account with. CA FED was bought out by CITI BANK. The manager asked me to speak to their financial advisor inside the institution for investment possibilities. At the time I had two annuities with Prudential Insurance Company which were about to mature and the financial advisor said that I should  roll one over into an annuity with ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY and PUTNAM SECURITIES. He gave me a colored brochure advertising the investment. He talked with me  in a number of meeting asking me to invest with ALLSTATE INSURANCE telling me I could earn six percent (6%) if I bought the annuity and held it for a period of ten years and after the ten years came round the company would pay me my six percent interest and I could withdraw the money and do whatever I wanted with the funds. So, I  rolled over my Prudential Insurance annuity which I had for approximately seven years. It was now out of its maturity.

I  held that ALLSTATE INSURANCE/PUTNAM SECURITIES annuity for the ten year period and like previous annuities which I had, I planned on taking the funds from ALLSTATE INSURANCE and investing in an "Immediate Annuity" with another company. When I asked for my funds to be sent to me with the interest brought up to date the company told me that I could not have my funds to invest with another company. I was told by ALLSTATE INSURANCE that I had to leave the money with their company and annuitize it through their firm only.

I explained that I had previous annuities with other companies and when the annuity matured I was allowed to take the funds and go elsewhere should I  wish to do so. I explained to ALLSTATE/PUTNAM that I have always annuitized my annuities for a "life certain" selection, meaning  that when I died the monthly annuity payments would cease with my death. I told the  company that  I always chose a "life certain" option because  that generated the highest monthly payout for me.

These idiots then told me that I do not have such an option with ALLSTATE INSURANCE/PUTNUM SECURITIES. They said I could not have my money and would have to  annuitize  my finds with their company  "ONLY" and further, they did  not have a "life certain" option. The only other options I had was a "ten year certain" option unless I held the annuity until I was  eighty (80) years old and then they could provide a "five year certain" option.  Please note that with either of these options I would receive substantially less of a monthly payment from the company.

I have ALWAYS chose the "life certain" option in all previous annuities because it pays the highest monthly payment and all payments would stop upon my death. However, this company after ten years sent me an approximate 30 or 40 page prospectus (which was not provided me) when I gave my money over to the  financial advisor at CAL FED and CITI BANK ten years earlier. In this volumenous documents fine print they highlighted a clause saying I did not have the option of a "life certain" selection AND I couldn't take my funds elsewhere.

As a side note: I have annuitized previous annuities and all of the other companies always gave the  owner of the policy three choices upon maturity.Payouts for (a) a life certain, meaning when the person dies the monthly payments stop - (b) and (c) the other two options were a  five (5) year certain and a ten (10) year certain, which pays out  smaller monthly payments to the policyholder.

So, when I annuitized my funds with ALLSTATE INSURANCE/PUTNAM SECURITIES (which I really didn't want to do) I had to settle for a  ten (10) year life certain payout thereby cutting my monthly payments $300, $400, or possible $500.00 a month less than I would have received if they would have allowed me to select a "life certain" option (or) allowed me to withdraw my money after the maturity date and invest it with another company. I could have certainly used that additional money per month since I am a retiree. People, I did my part. I waited the TEN YEARS to receive my money.

I feel I was conned and cheated by: First, the Savings & Loan CAL FED and CITI BANK because their financial advisor they employed lied to me, made promises that weren't kept and didn't provide me with full disclosure as to the circumstances surrounding the annuity policy. When I turned over my money to  the financial advisor I specifically told the man that after ten years when the policy matures I was going to take the funds and invest them in an "Immediate Annuity." He said I could do that with no problem. Second, by ALLSTATE INSURANCE CO., and PUTNAM SECURITIES for not providing information, up front, at the time of the purchase that the company would not allow the policyholder to  take their money after maturity date and move it elsewhere. Had they told me those facts I would NEVER have  purchased the policy. I was already happy with PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE.

It is  my opinion, and everyone is entitled to an opinion that these money-mongers: CAL FED and CITI BANK's sole interest was to take my money for their own financial gain: (the  financial advisor- for his commission on the deal); ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY and PUTNAM SECURITIES, who refused to allow me to take my money after I patiently waited for the ten year term to expire for maturity and invest it in another company and forcing me to leave my money with them as the only alternative.

I had other annuities with such firms as PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE  and MUTUAL OF OMAHA companies and when those annuities expired they were straightforward and allowed me to have my money to do with as I chose and gave me the three options , life certain,  five year certain or ten year certain should I wish to annuitize with their company.

For me personally, I will never deal with ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANYand PUTNAM SECURITIES for any reason whatsoever, whether it be home, auto, retirement or financial purposes. I will purchase not one thing that I know these firms have their hands in. But, that's me. I got burned once, never again with these companies. And, as far as dealing with CITI BANK or for that matter, any other bank or Savings and Loan's financial services departments in the future- IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN! I rue the day the government allowed banks and savings and loans to begin selling insurance products like insurance policies and annuities. Never should have happened.

Well, that's my story people. I wish I knew  all of the world-wide web complaint sites that I could tell my story to. I'd complain to all of them. If people ask me about  these firms I'll tell them my story and let the person make up their own mind . However, as far as the reader is concerned, should they wish to deal with the firms I mention here -- that's their prerogative and I  wish them all the luck in the world. Make your own decisions and do your own thing. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
