Fighting Three Wars-Squandering Billions & Americans Get Short Changed

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The United States has earmarked $7.5 billion in aid over the next five years for Pakistan. In addition the United States has donated 350 million dollars to help Pakistan cope with floods. Can you imagine what all of those billions of dollars could do right here in the good ol' USA? Our own infrastructure: roads, bridges, schools, electric grids and 70 to 100 year pipes that have been under our cities that are worn out could use that $7.5 billion dollars. And floods? You bet! We have them often and they are severe. That 350 million dollars sent to Pakistan could have been put to very good use here in the United States.

People, these wars we are fighting are not going to change anything for us. The Obama administration tells us we are fighting two wars which are the Iraq and the Afghanistan conflicts but they don't tell you we are also engaged in a third war and that is the war with Pakistan. They like to keep that war hush, hush.

If you look very closely and listen to the administrations talking heads you can see by the continued deaths in Pakistan that are being caused by our U.S. unmanned drones along with the U.S. military covert operations and incursions into Pakistan territory that we do have a third war in progress.

That is also the real reason we are pouring money into Pakistan. Our government is buying off Pakistan by giving corrupt officials billions of dollars to silence Pakistani protests about our military and CIA conducting active military operations inside Pakistan.

These useless wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan were brought about by our lawmakers so that they would not have to address our domestic problems here at home and be accountable to us citizens. When an administration cannot and will not take care of domestic matters in the country they start a war so as to change the subject(s) that are really facing the American people. This they did, while at the same time, allowing a select group of politicians the opportunity to pander and cater to corporations, banks and big oil which in turn gave them a chance to make billions of dollars for themselves as they cranked up the military war machine.

We are paying our taxpayer monies to corrupt leaders and politicians in these backwoods countries and it should stop. Bring each and every military person home. Immediately!

Take Afghanistan for example---: Look what they did to Russia over a ten year period. They slaughtered tens of thousands of Russian soldiers and caused Russia to take money from it's citizens and spend billions of dollars on equipment fighting the war. Russia had to leave the country because they could not get a grasp on any sort of victory. The irony is that we, the Unites States trained these uneducated and poverty stricken Afghan fighters to fight and provided them with the military weapons to force Russia out of their country.

That training and equipment that the USA provided these various warlords has come back to haunt us. For years now these warring clans, their families and children have been using our weapons and training skills to kill our military service men and women. No country and/or military machine has ever gone into Afghanistan and left claiming "victory" in any way shape or form.

Folks, these people in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq do not want us there. They want us out of their countries. Their representatives and their people have been saying that for years.

These countries have been fighting among themselves for over 5000 years. That has been their way of life for centuries and they like it. They do not want to change their ways and they will not change their ways. Their cultural makeup and religious views are theirs and they want to keep them and follow them as they see fit.

It is not the United States job to force our way of life or our views on any other country or race in this world. We, the USA should not tell anybody else how to live or tell them how to change their beliefs or culture. We Americans have enough problems here at home to resolve.

Christ, in this country we cannot even stop neighbors from fighting one another in our cities or killing each other in our streets so what makes our arrogant lawmakers in the United States think they can stop other people in other countries from fighting between themselves.

My view: Take care of our own people first.Fix our own problems. Let these other countries fight it out among themselves like they have been doing for centuries and who ever comes out on top and into power is the person or faction we should deal with on a trust and verify basis.

Currently in the United States we have millions of children going to bed each night hungry because their parents cannot afford food; we have every child in this country getting short changed on a good education; we have millions of homeless people trying to find shelter to get through each night; the nation is on the brink of a financial melt-down; the American worker, especially the middle class person(s)cannot achieve the American dream and own a home due to the fact there are no jobs available. The foreclosure rates in the USA are dismal and we have millions of people in the USA not receiving proper health care. The health care is either poor or non-existent yet the United States sticks its nose and military might and taxpayer money(that runs into the billions of dollars) a year into other countries business trying to change their ways. Congress- we could use that money here.

Some question to ponder: Why do we take billions and billions of dollars of taxpayer monies and spend it on building schools, bridges, electric grids and waste and water plants, etc., in these other countries and continue to dump billions on trying to educate children in other countries? Why do we feed all of the children in these countries that we are invading while our children here at home are starving? It doesn't make sense. Take care of America's children and it's people first and then, and only then, if we have money left over and want to be charitable, so be it.-And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Maj. Margaret Witt, Lesbian: Does Substantial Harm To Military

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Former Maj. Margaret Witt, an admitted lesbian should not be allowed to return to military service. Even though some military supporters say she is competent at her job that does not change the fact that the military has a "don't ask, don't tell policy." It has been working very well for years. I think that the justice department was correct when they stated that Witt should not be allowed to serve in the Air Force.

Witt's behavior and actions necessitate her removal from the service. A legitimate complaint was filed against Witt in regards to her lesbian behavior. This lesbian had a long-term relationship with a civilian woman, she had an affair with a married woman and she has had two previous relationships with fellow servicewomen. A deposition that Witt gave confirmed those facts. Witt remains in the relationship with the married woman to this day. The married woman's husband divorced her.

It appears to me that Witt has continually broken military rules and laws for a long, long time but she wants the blessing of the country and thinks she deserves to be placed back on military duty. If she is placed back on duty in the Air Force I would fear for the young women and members of military families who are required to work or associate in close proximity to her.

Based on Witt's past actions in the Air Force it looks as though she is predisposed to initiating lesbian relationships willy-nilly.It would make me wonder that this lesbian who has had relationships with her fellow servicewomen used her rank to intimidate. threaten or possibly show favoritism toward them.

I do not think the military should have lesbians and/or homosexuals performing duties in the military and allow them to troll and prey on recruits, subordinates and members of military families for their own sexual desires. Acts like Witt committed clearly doesn't make for a good or safe working relationship.- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Obama-"Recession Has Been Over For 15 Months"- Bush- "Mission Accomplished"-Nothing Changes

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

President Obama flubs again. He and his administration and the lawmakers trumpet the call that "the recession is over." They say that it ended 15 months ago.

They make sure it is splashed across all the headlines in the newspapers and their talking heads make the rounds on the afternoon news and political shows screaming the recession is over. Really? Are they kidding? Ask all of the unemployed middle class if the recession is over.

This "recession is over" proclamation by President Obama is just like the "mission accomplished" statement and banner on the aircraft carrier by President Bush. They act prematurely on their shout outs to gain political momentum for the upcoming elections.

When President Obama ran for reelection and won, one of his his champion phrases was "hope" "we have hope." In this case I guess Obama just hopes the recession is over.People, hope is not action. Obama is seriously lacking in action skills. All of this administrations rhetoric only amounts to Blah, Blah, Blah, and nothing more.- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Congress-Bring Back Glass-Steagall. Prevent Another Financial Collapse

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The financial woes and the failing banks was a big disaster. Years ago Wall Street was regulated. After the great depression laws were passed to prevent the banks from collapsing.

In the 1930's the Glass-Steagall Act went into effect. It separated commercial banks from investment banks. It was an excellent law. The Act put the brakes on uncontrolled speculation in the financial markets. Folks, this legislation worked very well for nearly 70 years. But in 1999 our idiot lawmakers repealed the act. They said that "we can rely on the integrity of the financial markets to police itself." Well, that was a slick, dumb move, wasn't it? For financial and/or political gain these incompetent politicians let the financial centers and Wall Street run amok.

I would wonder why Obama and his administration did no put the Glass-Steagall Act back in play when they pushed for financial reform.Remember the old adage: If it's not broke, don't fix it? The system wasn't broke. The banks were regulated.

The system worked for 70 years until the Act was repealed in 1999. Once the law was repealed all hell broke loose and here we are in an economic crisis that has the country on the brink. What does the administration do? They ignore the law that worked for decade after decade and they pander to the wishes of the corporations, bankers and Wall Street executives and refuse to replace the Glass-Steagall Act. Politics? You bet.

I predict that this country will experience another Wall Street and banking fiasco in the near future and when that happens the people we can blame is the current administration and Congress for not using the laws that we know can protect America.-And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Obama's $50 Mil Wiley Coyote Policy-Over & Over, WithSame Old Result

THE DOCTOR IS IN
_________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The Obama administration is pushing for billions of dollars so they can dump it into the economy. This continued spending of billions of dollars is for only one thing, votes. Obama is like Wiley coyote who continually tries to blow up the road runner. The bomb always goes off in Coyotes face. Nothing changes. The same with Obama and his policies of late.

Now he wants to spend $50 billion dollars on what he calls infrastructure projects. My question: Wasn't that $800 billion plus dollars not too long ago supposed to be for infrastructure? Obama spent that on Public Employee unions such as teachers, police and fireman instead of pumping that money into the private sector so average Joe and Jane Doe could get a job.

Now again, Obama says this $50 billion is to be spent on infrastructure. Does Obama know that less than one-half of construction workers are union people? Will he spend the money on contracts for both the union and nonunion worker? I would hope so. Both union and nonunion people need to work.

What's infrastructure? How is it defined? With the Obama administration you can bet it is defined in the eye of the beholder. I predict that much of the $50 billion dollars will be spent on projects that loosely resemble "infrastructure." The administration will water down the meaning of infrastructure and will divert billions to" special projects" for political and personal reasons.

As it stands now we have the Obama open border policy running amok. Most people in this country know the construction trade has been taken over by the "illegal aliens" over the past decades. It never used to be that way. The construction worker in the 1950's, 60,s and 70's were a majority of white and black middle class working men and women. But due to the sleazy employers that wanted to save a buck they began hiring illegal aliens and now, because of that fact, the construction trade is brimming with illegal aliens. How equal or fair is it that our taxpayer dollars will be spent to hire and employ these illegal aliens.

My question to the Obama administration is: "What percentage of our tax dollars of this $50 million dollar boondoggle is going to be given to these "illegal alien" workers instead of American citizen construction workers?"

A side note, all the money that is being paid to illegal aliens currently working in the U.S. is being sent back to Mexico and South America. The annual sum sent back to Mexico by illegal aliens runs in the billions of dollars annually. So, we taxpayers do not benefit from the money paid to the illegal aliens in any way, shape or form.- And, that's my opinion. You make your own decisions. You decide.

THE DOCTOR IS IN
__________________
LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The non-smoking nanny states and those special groups that clearly have an agenda to raise money, grants and publicity still is no satisfied that teen smoking is down and adult smoking has dropped by leaps and bounds.

These groups are saying such things as: Without bold action by our elected officials, too many lives, young and old, will suffer needlessly from chronic illness and burdensome health care expenses."

News flash to these groups, According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention smoking rates fell drastically since 1960. I submit that what these nanny states and goodie-two shoe groups are saying like "many lives will suffer and chronic illness and burdensome health expenses will be a result of smoking" can also be applied equally to other things such as: drinking alcohol, eating fast or fat foods like pies, cakes, pasta,etc.--the list could go on and on, just on food.

Heart attack is the number one killer in the U.S., not SMOKING, and what causes heart attacks? You guessed it, a bad diet the person may be eating; those potato chips, that soda, especially the diet sodas, stress from a job, divorce or financial problems just to name a few. Folks, all those things cause heart attack and stroke. Yet, these nonsmoker zealots claim that all of the ills and disease happening in the world is caused by smoking cigarettes. What a joke and lame argument.

The nonsmoker started out with: "All I want is my own nonsmoking section" in the restaurant. But we know where that led us. Don't we? Give someone and inch and they'll take a mile and the nonsmoking public and nanny lawmakers did just that.

Most all of the lawmakers in Washington today grew up around smoking. There was smoking in restaurants, movies, bars, taverns, each and every business establishment, government buildings, doctors offices and in most every household in the country and I submit that these people turned out very well.

Many of these same people are doctors, lawyers and titans of big business. There is the construction workers, plumbers and all the lesser occupations that make this country hum. These same people raised their children in those smokey households and their children turned out to be well organized, productive citizens working in their occupations of choice today.

So, the argument of secondhand smoke wiping out the population is a "red herring " argument. The secondhand smoke argument that has been put forward for decades is controversial and always will be. No pun intended, "it's all smoke and mirrors."

People will fall in the clutches of serious and fatal disease for many reasons and believe me when I say they are not all caused by smoking cigarettes or indulging in tobacco products. Diabetes, Cancer, Heart problems and all other deadly disease are brought about by many things such as the persons bad eating habits, alcohol consumption, bad lifestyle and most of all genetics. If the predisposition of any illness and/or disease is in the genes people are going to acquire those devastating diseases. Example: A person that smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day for life never contracted cancer but on the other hand a person who has never smoked a day in their life is afflicted with Cancer, Diabetes, or some other dastardly disease.

As a side note: There are many medications that doctors are currently prescribing to patients that cause such things as-Cancer,Blindness, Bone Loss, Kidney and Liver problems and even cause the death of the patient. If you doubt that, just listen very carefully to many of the prescription drug advertisements and the drugs side effects that are flashed across your television screens every day.

Point is: There are many things that may cause health problems so stop blaming cigarettes for the ills of the world. Let people make their own decisions as to what they want to put into their body. As long as it's a legal substance, food, etc.,it is the persons choice. With that in mind I would suggest that there should be places for everybody, in this case, the smoker and nonsmoker. The smoker can patronize the business establishments that advertise "smoker friendly" and the nonsmoker can chose the "nonsmoking establishment."

Liberty and freedom of choice is what this country was basically founded on and the choices should be there for us Americans to make our own decisions. Personally, if I were a smoker, I would not go into a restaurant or bar that was totally nonsmoking and if I were a nonsmoker I clearly would avoid any restaurant or bar that advertised "smoker friendly." I say there is room for everybody in this country and equal treatment is the word of the land.- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

American Politicians-Keep Your Nose Out of Other Countries Business

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Our lawmakers should keep their nose out of other sovereign nations business, especially when America tries to shove our way of life, democracy and culture down other peoples throats.

We pe-emp military strikes against other countries saying that we (America) will spread our democracy to those other countries using the excuse that it's better than what they have. How arrogant our politicians are.

First, our democracy and our form of government has only been around a couple of hundred years and our lawmakers should realize that some other countries culture and way of life have been around for centuries. In terms of America having a democracy, form of government and culture we are just a baby compared to many other countries. Yet, our politicians want to force these other countries into our way of thinking.

An example: Iran has had their culture and religion dictate their laws for centuries and one of their laws demand that if a woman commits adultery, the penalty is stoning, Saudi Arabia beheads criminals according to their laws and religion. Other countries cane a person. Muslin nations require women to wear a head garment. Yet,we in America and its supposed experts on democracy try to force these countries to change their culture and religion to meet our expectations.

Even some countries have different food preferences than we in America have but our lawmakers try to force those countries to eat what we eat. We may not eat dog, snake, rodents, horse certain insects and a variety of other food choices but people in those other countries do eat those things. That doesn't make them bad people.

Instead of pushing our values, our religious and moral beliefs and our way of government on other countries we should look to clean up our own way of life. Clean our house first.

America has many problems of its own that need corrected. Our administration and politicians should be working very hard to get our own country on track. Suggestion: America, keep your nose out of other countries business.

Since we have only been around with our way of life for about 200 years we could stand to learn a lot from other countries longevity and could in all likelihood gain knowledge and experience by studying other countries culture, belief systems, mores and religious beliefs and maybe, we could even adopt some of their way of life into our system . We in America have to stand up to the test of time like other countries have done for centuries.

I,like many Americans are very proud to be an American and boast about our way of life and government system but I would suggest that is is also important to humble which in many instances is left by the wayside by our lawmakers. It's embarrassing that our politicians chose to "big foot" and stomp into other countries telling them that we know what is best for them and their people.- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

The Obama Birthplace Question-Still Circulating Around The World

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS-Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Information on President Obama's citizenship has been circulating since he took office. Following is some information I have gathered from various sources regarding the matter.

Investigation by numerous expert private investigators report that the Social Security number Obama uses cannot be authentic. A Washington insider states that the numbers on his Social Security card don't lie and proves the card is not authentic. Records indicate that Obamas Social Security card was issued between 1977 and 1979, when he was a teenager residing in Hawaii. During that period of time Obama also attended college in Los Angeles, California. However his Social Security number begins with (042).

According to investigative sources and experts they say that those digits indicate a zip code of the applicant definitely show that the card came from Connecticut. After a check by investigators it appears there is no record of Obama being anywhere in the state of Connecticut during those years. Obama doesn't even make any mention of Connecticut in his autobiography, "Dreams From My Father."

One private investigator very plainly and clearly said that the Social Security card Obama is using is a fake. The female investigator Susan Daniels reported to the Globe newspaper: "there is no possible way he (Obama) could have been issued it. She goes on to say: " that's felony fraud."

When Obama's Social Security card was questioned during a press conference at the White House press secretary Robert Gibbs quickly changed the subject.

As an added reinforcement a Mr. Robert Sicilano, CEO of IDTheftSecurity.com, who is a recognized expert relating to identity theft also says that Obama's Social Security card doesn't make sense. He went on to tell sources and the media that "Sometimes Social Security numbers are issued in states where people don't live, but there has to be a very good reason for it." He said: "In the case of President Obama, I don't know what a good reason would be."

Investigator Daniels thinks she has an explanation. She said that she believes Obama was a foreign exchange student born outside the United States. This Washington Beltway investigator says that the only reason Obama would have an invalid Social Security card is because she thinks he is hiding the fact as to where he was really born.

It's been reported that Obama is trying to cover up his secrets overseas by making demands that his Kenyan relatives remain silent about his past. It appears Obama is angry that his cousin Roy Obama, 29, is saying that Obama's roots are in and around Lake Victoria. It was also reported by the Globe newspaper that Obama's grandmother Sarah said that she was present when Obama was born in a hospital in Mombasa. At the same time another Obama cousin has written a book saying she was also present at his birth in Kenya. This cousin also claims that he was given a fake birth certificate and social security number so that it would look as though Obama was born in the United States. The statements by these two Obama relatives are said to be corroborated by a Kenyan birth certificate showing Obama was born in Mombasa's Coast Province General Hospital.

Media also reported that Obama's African relatives said that he proposed to Michelle at the family compound at Kendu Bay, on the shores of Lake Victoria.

While all of this controversy is swirling around it is said that Obama and his administration and friends adamantly refuse to release his actual long form birth certificate from Hawaii and they refuse to release any education, passport, medical and baptism or any documents from his early life that could put this issue at rest very quickly. I'm just reporting. Don't shoot the messenger. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Obama Has To Create Jobs For Everyday People-Not Public Employees

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

President Obama recently made his radio address to the people and he said: A strong economy needs a bustling Main Street and thriving Middle Class. Really? He says things but doesn't carry through and it appears to be the same old stale stuff, the same old rhetoric.

He misses the point. His idea of a thriving Middle class and strong economy is throwing any benefits and monies to the Public Employees and forgetting the hard working private sector people in the country. . The teachers, the policemen, the firemen and other government employees working at the city, county, state and federal levels are the only ones that enjoy the monies and programs coming out of Washington.

The monies resulting in salary increases, merit and bonus pay and obscene retirement and pension benefits to these public employees are made so that Obama and his party can receive the support of these Public Employee unions in the voting booth.

I would suggest that Obama and his administration begin looking out for the man in the street like the food servers, the minimum wage employee like a convenience store worker. Look out for the construction workers, the roofers, carpet layers, bartenders, office clerks, secretaries and delivery people that are struggling day in and day out to put food on the table and who are living from paycheck to paycheck.

Obama should put workers boots in the mud and asphalt. Spend the money on building and improve the roads, bridges and the nations infrastructure. These type of jobs will make money go around and it will be circulated back into the communities. The workers spend the money in the small restaurants and businesses across the country and that small business can then hire more employees and possibly increase the wages of that hourly worker. Stop the Public Employee union pandering.

Obama, care for the little guy. That's your Middle Class. All of the professions and occupations mentioned above are the people that will buy the houses and buy the televisions, appliances and cars, etc.---

I would suggest that Obama form a mind set to work outside of the Washington beltway and do away with all of the perks and privileges to the Public Employees and their unions and concentrate on actual jobs that can being created in the private sector.- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Sou Brothers Should Receive Stiff Prison Time For "Human Trafficking"

THE DOCTOR IS IN
_________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Two prominent and popular brothers who operate the second-largest vegetable farm in Hawaii will come up for sentencing in federal court this week. These two sleaze ball brothers (Alec and Mike Sou) were convicted of shipping 44 laborers from Thailand and forcing them to work on their farm. That move was part of a path to the United States that actually cornered foreign field hands into slave labor jobs. They were committing the felony crime of "human trafficking" and the two brothers did plead guilty to the crimes.

These two brothers confiscated the workers passports,If the workers complained the two farm owners threatened to send them back to Thailand without any way to repay the approximate $20,000 that was borrowed as a recruitment fee. The workers were trapped on the farm. The workers were housed in small cramped mobile storage containers and told not to leave the farm property after their days work and the workers were denied any pay for months on end.

But despite the illegal and unconscionable criminal acts that the Sou brothers committed on a regular basis so that they could make money there are many prominent persons writing the judge and asking that these two criminals not be sent to prison.

The argument is that Aloun Farms is to big to fail. These idiot upstanding citizens like Kioni Dudley, president of the community group, Friends of Makakilo who wrote U.S. District Judge Susan Oki Mollway for a slap on the wrist sentence says that the incarceration of these two low life brothers"would threaten the food security in Hawaii and could endanger our future sustainability on Oahu."

There have been approximately 120 letters to the judge supporting the two Sou brothers saying that they are important to Hawaii's agriculture industry and that the farm provides 200 jobs. Hey! Important to the agriculture industry by using forced slave labor? Where's the priorities people?

Others that came to the defense of these two criminals were former Democratic Governor Ben Cayetano and former Democratic Governor John Waihee and former head of the state Land Board, the state Department of Agriculture, the Hawaii Foodbank and also (two banks) who are owed money from the Sou brothers and former employees. Is there a personal axe to grind in defending these two brothers by these supporters? Do ya think? Here's two brothers that operated Aloun farms that for years contributed to the politicians and community and these banks that are owed money by the brothers. Come on! The self interests by these supports are so obvious it smells, and smells really bad.

I hope the judge can see through all of these self-serving letters from people that may have benefited from the monies provided by the Sou brothers over the years.

In addition to all of the political support from past politicians and others that have an agenda to protect these two for reasons only known to them the two brothers are pleading for a light sentence from Judge Mollway. To make things sound better to the judge the Sou brothers attorneys said: Our people got caught up in something which they admit to. They wish they hadn't done this, and they're sorry for getting involved." Oh, BOO HOO.

Read between the lines of that statement and it boils down to the brothers are only sorry for being caught. If they hadn't got caught the crimes would continue to go on.The defense attorneys and these supporters who have an interest in these bad guys want people to feel sorry for them. One of the attorneys who represents Mike Sou tries to rationalize the serious crime of "human trafficking" by going on to say: "Nobody was tortured, nobody was abused, nobody was physically threatened in any manner." Is he kidding? I suggest there are many levels of abuse and the definition of torture is still being debated around the world-(i.e., is it torture to be confined in a small mobile unit? Or is it torture or abuse when a person is threatened to be sent out of the country owing $20,000 to $30,000 to employment recruiters that may threaten physical harm? Could be. It's how one might look at the definition of torture and abuse.

Crackdowns on "human trafficking" should be heavy and swift. Federal indictments and penalties against these types of employers should result in prison time from five(5) to twenty (20) years, at least. Judge Mollway should look at the severity of harm these sleazy brothers committed against the workers and consider how long these dastardly acts have being going on. I would think this practice was going on for years.

I would suggest that these brothers are predisposed to commit these types of crimes. For example, if a car thief only steals "red Corvettes" and has stolen 25 red Corvettes, the chances are the 26th. car the thief will steal is a red Corvette.Predisposition is a big thing. In this case these two admitted criminals repeatedly were involved in human trafficking" and apparently that was the norm for these brothers and their farm operations. I would also suspect that this behavior by the Sou brothers has been going on for years and years while those with a vested interest in their dealing with the Sou brothers turned a blind eye to their actions and tactics.

Finally, my thoughts on this matter is that there is "no business" that is to big to fail. If these two are sent to prison for years you can bet that the business will go on, one way or the other.Further, I say that no one or two persons are indispensable. Others in the farm operation can carry out the day to day operations without missing a beat. Worse case scenario-- let the farm operation go into bankruptcy and another corporation, firm and/or individual would probably buy the operation. Folks, no one is above the law. Bottom line. Send these two admitted human traffickers to some stiff prison time. They are clearly poster boys for "human smuggling."- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Antipsychotic Drugs Used On Small Children:Ridiculous

THE DOCTOR IS IN
_________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

A recent article in the New York Times reported the alarming increase in young children being prescribed "antipsychotic" drugs. Report:, 2009--The Food and Drug Administration study showed more than half a million children and adolescents in the USA are currently taking these antipsychotics.

Columbia University reported a doubling of these bad news drugs being used on kids between 2 and 5 years old. The drugs were covered by private insurance. One of my thoughts: Why are these children being prescribed these antipsychotics this early in life? I personally think it is too soon.

The times referenced a story about little Kyle Warren of Louisiana. At 18 months he was given daily doses of these antipsychotics because he was having temper tantrums.. This resulted into Kyle being given more drugs and different diagnoses such as --autism, bipolar disorder, hyperactivity, insomnia, and oppositional defiant disorder. Wow!

The Times article stated that by the time Kyle was only 3 years old his "daily pill regimen multiplied. He was then given additional medication. Antipsychotic medication Risperdal, antidepressant Prozac, two sleeping medicines and one for attention-deficit disorder." The mother said she was at her "wits end" before agreeing to the medication. Kyle suffered side effects such as: being sedated, drooling, and became overweight. The mother eventually admitted that all she had was a "medicated little boy." She told the Times: "I didn't have my son. It's like you'd look into his eyes and you would see just blankness."

Finally, Kyle was taken to Tulane University Medical School where a physician there disagreed with Kyle's diagnosis of bipolar disorder saying he has never seen a preschool child with bipolar disorder in his 30 years of practice. He also disagreed with Kyle's treatment. Long story short-- Kyle was taken off of all medications except for one drug for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and now Kyle is 6 years old, a month into his first grade and is receiving high scores in school and is laughing and is rambunctious like other children. Side Note: Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder is another story at another time. I have many varied opinions about that disorder.)

There are numerous reasons why children are given unnecessary drugs. maybe it's because it's less expensive that going to therapy and lets not forget the drug companies very aggressive promotion of a drug regimen for children. The drug companies sales pitches sometimes convince the parents of the need for medicating their children. Parents become desperate on occasion and they look for answers and assistance from wherever they can get it. They want to help their kids.

But remember,it takes a proper diagnosis by the doctor, maybe a combination of therapy and medication will do the trick. But what really sticks out like a sore thumb is that there is an apparent use of antipsychotic drugs being used on our young and adolescent children and it appears the medical profession has to come to grips with that fact and address the concern.

Congress & The Administration Are War Mongers

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Our government and administration like to put on a good face to the masses but in reality they want to continue to perpetuate their own agendas. Right now we have three wars going on. First, Iraq, second, Afghanistan and third a (covert ongoing war)in Pakistan.

If you think we are not waging a war in Pakistan I have a bridge in Brooklyn I would like to sell you. Fact is, we have American troops inside that country and have had for a very long time. The administration just doesn't like to talk about it. They are afraid that the general public would be upset with an open third war.

So, besides three ongoing wars the administration and our government is gnawing at the bit to start a fourth war with Iran.

My view is that none of these wars is really a necessity, and still, many American lives and American wealth are being squandered like there is no tomorrow.

This administration, our government, turns a blind eye to the rampant fraud and waste (i.e., the 18 billions of dollars that our government accounting agencies can't find in Afghanistan.,) How can a government lose track of 18 billion dollars or more? The USA knowingly allows the very corrupt government of Afghanistan to steal these billions of dollars in an attempt to buy the cooperation of the Afghan government and it's corrupt politicians.

Lets not forget the billions of dollars lost to medicare fraud here in the USA each year. I could go on and on about the various agencies that are scamming us taxpayers. The list is long.

This current administration and past administrations have been transferring obscene amounts of money from our dwindling Treasury into the open arms of the war machine and directing very valuable energy resources to the fat cats in Big Oil.

Our government officials know that war is very big business. It's like a racketeering enterprise .These private armies and mercenaries like (Blackwater) now renamed (Xe) and our military soldiers are the enforcers for our government white collar criminals. Our administration and lawmakers believe war is a good thing and it makes them and the corporate elite very rich and prosperous people.

We, the American people have to let these war monger politicians in Congress know that enough is enough. We have to demand an end to these many wars.

In the past, a few decades ago we could spot the criminals. There were white hats and black hats such as organized crime and an occasional politician. When they were identified they were caught and punished. But now, our political corrupt politicians flaunt their wrongdoing in the taxpayers face. They no longer hide their corruption and the Congress and its committees (like the ethics committee) actually make deals with the corrupt politicians. My question: How can an ethics committee make deals with criminals and corrupt politicians. No wonder Congress has an approval rating of only 9%.

I would like to remind the reader that after World War II and peace was declared and we no longer were fighting wars we in the United States enjoyed an era of prosperity. We rebuilt our highways, freeways and infrastructure. We were putting millions of people to work. Most of the soldiers that returned from the war was able to obtain good jobs with major companies and could look forward to a career and retirement with one company as a reward. People were buying new homes and raising families and enjoying the American way of life. Many returning soldiers took advantage of the educational benefits and attended universities across the country and the citizens of the United States were working in factories and industry that kept our country humming along for decades. People, all of that was because we were not fighting wars. Our peace time brought us prosperity, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Then, the good times fell by the wayside. The politicians dragged the war machine out of the closet and we had Korea, then Vietnam, a small war in Granada (for the benefit of the big corporations). After Vietnam the country began spiraling out of control and continued to do so up to present day.

Is it any wonder that our country is in dire straits now? We have a Vietnam situation in Afghanistan plus three other wars in the making. This is a good thing for our Congress and politicians, big corporations and big oil. This is what they want.

My suggestion: Stop these wars. Bring all of the troops home. Stop spending the billions of dollars in Iraq and Afghanistan and use those billions of dollars here at home on our infrastructure, schools, electric grids, improving our water and environmental resources etc.--

America first people! Currently we have 13 million starving kids here in the good ol' USA, we have crumbling schools across the nation, our food supply is in jeopardy and our borders are porous and not secured. Why should we spend billions of our taxpayer dollars to build new schools, new roads and highways and set up gas, lights and water systems and secure borders in these backwoods countries that hate Americans. My thought is that we need all of those things here and our tax dollars should be spent on those things here. Answer, Stop the wars. Now! And,-that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

USA Network "COVERT AFFAIRS" TV Show Is A Stink Bomb

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

To Stephen, who asked me for my opinion on the cable show "Covert Affairs."

The new cable show on USA network "Covert Affairs" shouldn't even last the season. This show was supposed to be put on air and assembled by the people that did the Jason Bourne Identity and other Bourne movies but this punky show falls far short of the great work done in the Bourne movies

The network continually hyped the fact about the Bourne connection when referring to Covert Affairs. Disappointing? You bet. After watching a few episodes of this fluff piece that goes nowhere I would say that Covert Affairs is more like an afternoon soap.

This show portrays a director of the CIA,in a situation with his wife (who is for all intent and purposes) in charge of a special section inside the CIA. Talk about nepotism, this takes the cake. The wife is mad because her husband, the director will not share information with her and the director is attempting to have a spousal relationship that may or may not affect the CIA. Then we have the "rookie" female CIA agent handling all of the CIA's operations who is most always (through flashbacks)thinking about her lost love.

The scenarios set up as CIA operations is silly , unrealistic and does not even come close to what the writers and producers did with the excellent work on the Bourne projects. In fact, a few of the so-called operations were played out in the USA and the Washington, DC area. Hey writers and producers, the CIA doesn't do domestic operations. Question? Where is the CIA operations that are supposed to be happening around the world and where is the CIA teams that are completing the operations?

One panty-waist female operative,a wife and husband and a blind analyst doesn't make for a compelling CIA storyline. Any first year writer could set those four people in any setting such as a restaurant, business office, a bar or tavern or even a barbershop and have the same outcome. All this show does is play around with interactions of four people and their emotional trial and tribulations. Soapy, You bet.

Suggestion: If these people that put together such great work with the Bourne projects actually put together different operations that even resembled CIA work and each week utilized stories of CIA operations taking place around the world using the effects that were demonstrated in the Bourne projects they would have a hit show. But this make believe, no substance, shallow show evolving around about four or five people in the CIA is a sad attempt at intelligence operations. The writers and producers should take a hint from the old "Mission Impossible" television shows. In those shows the agents had a specific mission around the world each week and the agents used state of the art technology and expertise that was available during those times and the government agents completed their missions without silly, unrealistic personal interactions within the agency.

Again, if these writers and producers doing "Covert Affairs" want to do a soap opera television show using four or five people they should use a soap opera or comedy sitcom setting and don't pan the show off as a good crime or intelligence agency and/or spy program.

My view: On of a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being best, I would rate "Covert Affairs" as a 2. Out of five(5) stars my rating for "Covert Affairs" would draw (one star). This program should be canceled. It's lame, stale, unrealistic and as solid as water running through a sieve. The caliber of the show only demonstrates that the writers and producers have a clear lack of understanding as to what makes up a good "spy show." - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

Paris Hilton Banned From Steve Wynn's Properties-Better Late Than Never

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

A follow up to my previous article on Paris Hilton. She now has been banned from Steve Wynn's Las Vegas properties. It's about time. Kudos to Steve Wynn. Other Las Vegas hotels should follow Wynn's lead and ban her from their properties. Although, there is still a Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas and if nothing else I guess she can hole up there.

This lackluster wanna-be party girl is losing her glitter by leaps and bounds, especially here in Las Vegas. Instead of Hilton getting noticed for all of the drugs, parties and her idiotic posing and runway walks she should use her money by doing some good in the world.

Hilton's cocaine snorting, boozing and trying to get noticed act seems to have run it's course.

I would like to see just one court and/or one judge anywhere give Hilton more than a slap on the wrist and a walk for her felony crimes. I would suggest that if a judge would be strict and follow the law and sentence this do-nothing person to some serious jail time it may be the incentive needed for Hilton to clean her act up and act like a grown up. And, - that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

TNT's Television Show "Dark Blue" Is A Loser Show

THE DOCTOR IS IN
________________

LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

To Kim, who asked me to give her my opinion on the television program "DARK BLUE."

This undercover unit for LAPD who is supposedly secretly working off-the books in my opinion is a loser show. The network TNT who airs the program on Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m.promotes the show like it was really something special. They brag that is is a great show. Wrong! The show is completely off base with its characters: Team leader Carter Shaw (Dylan McDermott, Ty Curtis (Omari Hardwick),Dean Bendis (Logan-Marshall Green) try to play the macho thing too much. McDermott is mostly always yelling or screaming. Overacting? you bet. Some of the scenarios the writers put this team in is ridiculous. Each of the team members often refuse orders, go out on their own and do their own thing. Nothing authentic about that. In real cop shop that doesn't happen.

Also this new addition of Helfer, as FBI agent Alex Rice is a joke. She's the FBI agent who is sleeping with the team leader and supposedly when the FBI is supposed to be in charge of a situation, she most always defers to team leader Carter Shaw.

This show started out a very dark and dreary drama. The overacting and the appearance of this team doesn't even come close to conveying any emotional hardships of a LAPD undercover person. These actors who are portrayed as a dirty, grimy, unkept team doesn't represent a good cop show.

This team with all their dirt and grit and half-shaven faces come across like a bunch of old guys who try to act like teen gang members.

Since "Dark Blue" debuted last summer it hasn't improved really that much. It's a wonder it lasted this long. It's still dark and dreary, the story lines are not very good and they are unbelievable. The stories doesn't even begin to resemble a real life situation. I predict this show will fall by the wayside unless the writers start getting real and the producers make this team present with a much better appearance. Right now I think this show is destined for the toilet. And, - that's my opinion. On a rating of 1 to 5 stars I would give it a (1). Make your own decisions. You decide.
