MINNEAPOLIS OFFICIALS FAIL TO PROTECT THEIR CITY. CAN'T EVEN PROTECT THEIR OWN HOUSE, THE POLICE DEPT. SHAMEFUL! SHAME ON THEM.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
Well, we have riots in the streets across America once again and the liberal police departments in those cities STAND DOWN in the face of civil disobedience and millions of dollars in property damage. Police RUN AND HIDE, AGAIN.
Let's look at how the city of Minneapolis handled this situation, now in its third day. The police department is sworn to "protect and serve" their entire city, but what do they do? They have four or five officers stand on top of the police station and shoot an occasional tear gas canister or rubber bullet into the mob that is rampaging, throwing rocks and bottles, stealing and robbing stores, and committing acts of arson on business property, vehicles, AND on the POLICE STATION.What's the matter with this picture folks?
The Minneapolis Police Department and other departments across the nation have no problem whatsoever of confronting a person on the street that is displaying a knife or other type of weapon. The scenario example is: The police usually tell the suspect to drop the weapon or they will shoot that person. And, more often than not, they do. Or the police officers will confront a person in their home during a domestic dispute and shoot the person saying they were protecting other peoples lives. But, when it comes to protecting their own house (the Police Station), they run away. WOW! Fact is, the Police Department evacuated the building and let the riot mob destroy tens of thousand of dollars in the complex and allow the thugs to set fire to the building.
The police Chief basically said: He didn't want to put his offers in danger. He said he didn't want his officers to get hurt. Can yo believe that. He then evacuated the building and moved the officers to a SAFE location.WHAT!! Folks that is what police officer's get paid for They should confront the perpetrator(s) and take immediate action to quell and control the situation. Minneapolis police department did not do that. They failed in their duty to protect and serve the city and the many other citizens and property in the city.
The Minneapolis Police Department and the weak, feckless Mayor decided to "fiddle while Minneapolis BURNED. It's SHAMEFUL. The Police departments want their over the top salaries, lucrative health benefits and more than generous pensions but are afraid to earn it when the chips are down.
This failure of the MPD and the city officials clearly show they had NO PLAN in place for civil unrest,mob riots, arson, and property damage. However, most police departments usually do have a plan but it appears in these liberal run cities, they have a policy of having their law enforcement STAND DOWN and not allow the police to POLICE.
Now finally, on the third day of this destruction of a city the Mayor and Governor finally decided to activate the National Guard. HOORAY! Even if it is a DAY LATE and a DOLLAR SHORT.
In this instance The Minneapolis Police Department reacted like the Sheriff Deputy in Florida that hid behind a pole while children were being shot. Afraid to face the culprits because they didn't want to get hurt. Or, remember the Columbine School massacre when law enforcement stood and sat around outside the building for hours while a teacher was bleeding to death and asking for help.
I submit that the MPD should have been prepared like the city NYPD police was under Mayor Giuliani in the earlier 1990's. He cleaned up the city with proper police policy. Example: People could protest in a peaceful manner but if someone in the crowd threw a rock or bottle at the policeman, they were cuffed and hauled in. If they threw a rock threw a window or set a fire to a structure, they were cuffed and hauled in. No if, and, or buts about it. I say that if some person or persons forced their way into a police station and began to destroy property and set the place ablaze it is the duty of those armed officers to place the offenders under arrest. Further, if the people failed to comply the officers should fire on the group. I bet that if only one of the rioting mob was shot while invading the police station and some others taken int custody, the game would have been over. The mob would have dispersed and they would have second thoughts about taking on a police force.
Lives and property were on the line in the entire city but why the Mayor, Chief of Police and city officials refused to take action to protect all of Minneapolis residents and their property is beyond me. Boy, if Minneapolis EVER had a plan for protecting their city in case of riots, arson and property theft they should make it PUBLIC NOW. - And, that's my opinion. I suggest you look at the situation and come to your own conclusions. You decide.

LAWMAKERS ALLOWING UNEMPLOYED TO MAKE $4,000.00 A MONTH FOR NOT WORKING. WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH THIS PICTURE FOLKS?

What the devil is the matter with these lazy, lamebrained lawmakers in the House and Senate. They enjoy spending our taxpayer money like a bunch of drunken sailors or marines. Who is looking out for what monies go where when they pass these money bloated bills?
The idiots decided to pay everyone who went on unemployment a BONUS, a FREEBIE, A GIFT.
Wow!! The 38 million people that are now filing and collecting unemployment benefits are making ONE -THOUSAND DOLLARS A WEEK, ($1,000.00), FOUR GRAND A MONTH. YEP!! FOR NOT WORKING. Some are even making more that the $1,000.00 per week.
That's my tax money,-- and YOUR ta money. And these idiotic lawmakers thinks that's okay. Go figure. I resent these lawmakers acting so cavalier with our tax money, just squandering it in order to make themselves feel good. These Washington clown lawmakers are so irresponsible they should all be dumped from office after which we taxpayers start all over again with rational, clear thinking, competent people who can and will question the lame- brain idea of paying people a thousand-dollars ($1,000.00) a week to sit on their butts and not work.
Now House Speaker Pelosi comes with another stimulus bill where she wants us taxpayers to pay ILLEGAL ALIENS the same $1200.00 stimulus that was already paid to every USA CITIZEN taxpayer in the last pound of stimulus payments. Plus, she also wants us taxpayers to pay these ILLEGAL ALIENS $600.00 a week in unemployment benefits . Not only that, Pelosi and her colleagues want to pay extended unemployment benefits that are being paid now. What a bunch of doggie-doo. These lawmakers live in crazy town and playing a game of "The Price Is Right" with our money folks.
The federal government NEVER should have paid $600.00 a week in benefits over what the individual states already pay the unemployed in their state.
My position is: if a person becomes unemployed, yes, they should be paid benefits, but ONLY those benefits already prescribed by their state. NO MORE, NO LESS. And when the benefits run out for that person, or they returns to work , the payments should stop.
Four-thousand dollars ($4,000.00) a month is a big incentive for people not to return to work. Unemployment payments were never meant to be a salary. It was only intended to supplement the unemployed person until the person returned to work. The benefits of each state that is already set in policy should be sufficient for any unemployed person.
These boondoggle give-a-ways by our lawmakers is unwarranted and inappropriate. They have to STOP.
In closing, if and when the lawmakers pass another stimulus bill the first thing to be removed is additional payments to anyone filing and collecting unemployment benefits.Lawmakers have to correct this loophole which allows unemployed people to make more that they were making on the job.
Clearly it was no one's fault but COMMUNIST CHINA'S that the COVID-19 virus put the skids on the economy and each and every person in America has been affected by the crisis but that doesn't mean policy regarding unemployment benefits should be drastically changed. Everyone has to try to live within their means and budget and if a person becomes unemployed they should have to adjust to the state authorized unemployment payments and work within that income until they return to work. - And that's my opinion. I suggest you look at the situation and come to your own conclusions. You decide.

EMPLOYERS THAT HIRE ILLEGAL ALIENS EXPLOIT AMERICA.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
A few days ago ICE raided a large landscape and gardening company in the state of Ohio and arrested approximately 100 "illegal aliens." Now the employer and other landscape and gardening companies are griping that they won't have workers to do gardening and landscape work. What?
These greedy employers in all likelihood intentionally hire illegal aliens to save a few bucks knowing that they get them cheaper, knowing that the illegals are presenting false identification and social security numbers to work and want us to feel sorry for them.
These greedy employers have access to the nationally recognized program E-VERIFY to insure that they do not hire illegal aliens but they refuse to use it. It's only greed people. The employers themselves should be fined big time for hiring illegal aliens. They should be mandated and ordered to use the E-VERIFY to check each employee before they are hired. They should have no excuse to hire all of these illegal aliens. If they are required to use E-VERIFY and then still hire illegal aliens and violate the law, the fines should be heavy duty and they should do jail time. Until these greedy employers actually are penalized and stopped from skirting the laws and continue to hire illegal aliens the large illegal influx of people coming into the country will not decrease. I recall back in the 1950s, 60, and 70's landscape and gardening work and construction work was done by American citizens. Hell, during those decades kids coming out of high school would go into the construction and landscaping/gardening business. There were Whites, Blacks, Hispanics and Asians on these work sites all working together. The only difference was they were all American citizens.
Now, in present day, the employers would have everyone believe that the only people in the world that can do landscape/gardening and construction is the illegal Mexicans, and others from South and Central America and Asia. What a joke. The only reason they hire these illegals is to save a penny. American citizens would do the construction and landscape jobs just as well, if not better but the employers do not want to pay the going wage.
What these employers are doing by hiring these illegal aliens is no better that what the employers did in the 1700 and 1800 hundreds by bringing slaves to America to work dirt cheap only to satisfy their own greed and pocketbook. Hiring these illegals is modern day slavery by the employers.
Truly there is some work that Americans do not want to do . Example is: working in slaughter houses and picking crops in the hot sun and fields across the nation. BUT, we in America had a very well run program that was started about 1942. It was called the "BRACERO PROGRAM." Workers from Mexico were allowed to work specific jobs.
The basics were this: In addition to salary and wages,all expenses were to be covered totally by the employer. Those expenses were transportation of the workers, cost of the worker housing while working here picking the crops, the workers medical, the workers food and miscellaneous expenses that were incurred by the worker.
It should be noted that the BRACERO PROGRAM workers WERE NOT not allowed to bring their families, including their children into the country while they were working the job they were hired to do.
The employers that brought the Bracero's into the United States were responsible for ensuring the workers were returned to Mexico following their 4,5, 6, or 7 months contract that they were hired to complete.
I would suggest that if these greedy employers REALLY need more workers and laborer's to work to pick and harvest seasonal crops and work in the fields and do specific construction , landscape or gardening project then they should initiate a new BRACERO PROGRAM that had worked well for years in the United States, and the cost is totally absorbed by the employer.
This ridiculous program of the VISA give-a-ways to get workers is clearly not working. Currently the workers brought into America under this program refuse to return home, or choose to evade visa policies an go underground, evade law enforcement, and get lost in the country. The United States has lost control of proper accounting for, and returning the employees brought into the country, to work a specific contract. Result,---- we wind up with millions of illegal aliens within our borders.
I submit, it should not be difficult for the government to monitor each employers request for workers. For example, if Business or Corporation X say they want to bring in 50 workers for a specific job for 6 months. That employer is mandated to check each worker in on arrival, their names, identification, etc., assign them to the position, and let them work and complete their contract for the 3,4,5,6,7 months at which time they are accounted for by name, identification, etc., and the employer immediately returns the worker to their country of origin until next season or next contract. Thus, the government can verify that Corporation X brought in 50 workers and can see the paperwork that the same workers are accounted for and returned to their home country.
Folks, only good controls and accountability of the employer and workers will keep American workers protected from mass illegal alien hiring and abuse of the system. Americans can do most of the jobs in the country. I further submit that it is a big myth when you hear these tech, construction, agriculture and labor employers telling you they need these thousands and thousands of workers brought to America to do the jobs. It's a matter of money and greed with them, MONEY and GREED, pure and simple. These employers that scream they need the illegals and VISA holders to work the jobs have the attitude of "hell with America," "I get these workers on the cheap." Personally, I think that attitude is obscene and disgusting but that is how it is people. We need to change their attitude and have them hire American citizens. - And, that my opinion. Make your own decisions, You decide.

CASINO AND RESORT FEES ACROSS THE COUNTRY HAS TO "STOP."

MGM Hotel/Casino just announced that they are raising their resort fees AGAIN, on top of what they are already charging the guest at their Las Vegas hotels. WOW!
These hotels/casinos have been charging these hidden fees for years. According to reports, MGM is now charging $45.00 to $65.00 a night on top of the nightly room rate. When is this gouging going to stop?
Recently the casino industry did their own study on resort fees and the affects it had on the customer. To no one's surprise, the casinos own study results claim that charging resort fees to customers did not damage business in way. But it is an entirely different story reported by customers from across the nation and the world. The consumer, customers basically said they are very unhappy with these hidden resort fees being tagged on the cost of a hotel room.
Folks, the customer thinks they are paying a set price for the room , but when they check out they find that the room cost them an additional $30 to $65 a night for their stay. There have been numerous op-ed pieces of people from all over the country complaining abut these added, hidden fees and the visitor saying they will not return to Las Vegas because of the added fees. Plus, in addition the added resort fees per night the visitor is charged for PARKING at the hotels. Parking fees have ranged from at least $9.00 to $25.00 per day. What a rip off.
Hilton Hotel in Nebraska and other states is being sued by their Attorney General. The AG's office calls these hidden fees TRICKERY on the hotel/casino visitor. Rightly so. Anyone who ever had these hidden added fees tagged on to their checkout bill agrees.
These hotels and casinos across the nation have been hiding the "true cost" of a room from the public and it about time it stops. The hotels and casinos across the country should be sued in every state by the Attorney General of that state. Folks,it is nothing but GREED. These hotels and casinos have taken a page out of the airlines playbook and decided to charge for each and every little item they can add on to the bill.
Remember in the past when hotels would offer amenities just o get the visitor to stay at their hotel/casino. A visitor PAID one price for the night and enjoyed any and all of the amenities that the hotel offered. That is why the visitor stayed at a particular hotel. It was the draw of which amenities the hotel offered that brought the guest to the hotel. Better food, drinks, pools, phone service, cable, spas and gyms, etc.
The visitor would visit the hotel that offered the most for the money. But now the hotel/casino industry threw that hospitality out of the window and decided to charge for those amenities, (whether the visitor wants to take advantage of them, or not,)
My position is: The prices in the hotels and casinos across the country are already over priced. Paying $4.00 to $6.00 dollars for a lousy bottle of water, or paying $30 to $40.00 for a tuna or chicken sandwich with coffee or tea is outrageous. Then, being hit with a $9.00 to $25.00 fee to park at the hotel is unwarranted.
Further, I believe any guest renting a room for the night, a few days, a week at any hotel/casino should have the right to use ALL of the amenities that are available. People, that is really how hotels and casinos used to operate. They offered numerous amenities to attract the guests and the guests came. The hotels/casinos that offered the most amenities usually got the bulk of business.
It was called competition. Each hotel/casino offered different amenities and the guest made their choice as to which hotel to patronize.
I would suggest that the government get involved and have the hotel/hospitality industry STOP these ridiculous and uncalled for RESORT FEES. Attorney Generals of each and every state--file a lawsuit against the industry. STOP THIS GOUGING. I say, ONE PRICE FOR THE ROOM and let the guest partake of any and all amenities at the establishment, like it used to be. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.

Remember in the past when hotels would offer amenities just o get the visitor to stay at their hotel/casino. A visitor PAID one price for the night and enjoyed any and all of the amenities that the hotel offered. That is why the visitor stayed at a particular hotel. It was the draw of which amenities the hotel offered that brought the guest to the hotel. Better food, drinks, pools, phone service, cable, spas and gyms, etc.
The visitor would visit the hotel that offered the most for the money. But now the hotel/casino industry threw that hospitality out of the window and decided to charge for those amenities, (whether the visitor wants to take advantage of them, or not,)
My position is: The prices in the hotels and casinos across the country are already over priced. Paying $4.00 to $6.00 dollars for a lousy bottle of water, or paying $30 to $40.00 for a tuna or chicken sandwich with coffee or tea is outrageous. Then, being hit with a $9.00 to $25.00 fee to park at the hotel is unwarranted.
Further, I believe any guest renting a room for the night, a few days, a week at any hotel/casino should have the right to use ALL of the amenities that are available. People, that is really how hotels and casinos used to operate. They offered numerous amenities to attract the guests and the guests came. The hotels/casinos that offered the most amenities usually got the bulk of business.
It was called competition. Each hotel/casino offered different amenities and the guest made their choice as to which hotel to patronize.
I would suggest that the government get involved and have the hotel/hospitality industry STOP these ridiculous and uncalled for RESORT FEES. Attorney Generals of each and every state--file a lawsuit against the industry. STOP THIS GOUGING. I say, ONE PRICE FOR THE ROOM and let the guest partake of any and all amenities at the establishment, like it used to be. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.

I have concerns about the so-called experts advice when dealing with COVID-19, and I am sure many Americans also have many of the same concerns.
Person in question who presents a major concern is doctor Anthony Fauchi, who had and has a large say in President Trumps COVID-19 task force. This guy is all over the map with his "EXPERT" advice.
Initially he played down the coronavirus by saying such things as, "there is nothing to be concerned about," or "just go about your regular routine, as you have been doing." Also he decided to advise President Trump to suddenly CLOSE DOWN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. I think it was a dumb suggestion. That was one of the most boneheaded moves of the century. However, President Trump acted on the advice of the so-called experts, and LOOK WHERE WE ARE AT NOW.
Fauchi decided to play the nations BIG EXPERT and told the President the only way to survive was to put a full stop on the best economy on the globe. He said we HAD to lock down every business and industry in this country. He's the same lamebrain that told us "do not wear masks," and said "that the coronavirus is something people shouldn't worry about, then told us, "we all have to wear masks and face coverings."Then he went on television shows and told people " it's okay to have sex with strangers, on line." WHAT? Is he nuts? I have a theory that COVID-19 can be passed through a man's semen and body fluids during sex. However, only time will tell and reveal if I am correct. Fauchi should stick to his expertise. He surely is not an expert in business, industry, or economics. I suggest he leave areas involving business, industry and economy to experts in those fields.
Fauchi had his day, he had his peak when he handled the AIDS virus, working in the the labs containing that specific ailment. But I submit, to have him be the face of the nation telling us what we people of the USA can and cannot do with COVID-19 is over his head. Folks, Fauchi is, and has been making it up as he goes along when it come to COVID-19. He is only flying by the seat of his pants from day to day. The same goes for some of his colleagues.
Because of his and his colleagues missteps and making things up as they go through each day caused irreparable harm to a number of established business entities who have been in operation for over 100 years. Currently many of these well respected businesses are filing for bankruptcy. Many have closed their doors for good. That's sad. That's' wrong.
People, when the AID's problem came upon us we DID NOT SHUT DOWN the entire country and shut the economy spigot off. We kept these scientists in their labs and research centers, working, trying to effect a treatment and possible vaccine while at the same time the country (REMAINED OPEN) and went on with business and economic moves as usual. And, folks, I say that is the way it should be. Keep the scientists in their labs, institution and research centers, assign them the task of coming up with a possible treatment or cure for ANY disease. At the same time let the nation move on and conduct business as usual, building the economy and industrial backbone of the nation.
We did not LOCK DOWN or bring a complete stop to every business or industry in the nation during the AIDS crisis, the Ebola crisis, the H1N1 Swine Flu crisis and/or other severe flu seasons. And, believe it or not, during any given flu season approximately 60,000 to 70,000 deaths a year, can occur, and that is when people are even given the flu vaccine shot. WOW! And guess what? We do not shut down the entire county and force people close businesses or stay home and away from work.
During our Flu seasons and through at least three prior Chinese viruses which China let loose on America and the world, the country went on with their regular business. The scientists did their work IN THEIR LABS and the nation SURVIVED. During these dire health situations people continued work, people became ill, and yes, people died. All the while this was happening scientists were in their labs, institutions and research centers (WHERE THEY SHOULD BE, DOING WHAT THEY SHOULD DO), and they did come up with satisfactory treatment for AIDS/HIV and other maladies.
When AIDS, Ebola, H1N1 Swine Flu was on the scene, the CDC and other agencies set guidelines and recommendations for the people of the country to follow and the people of the nation followed those recommendations and the country continued to hum along and conduct business while abiding by the recommended guidelines.
I think it is fair and incumbent on the administration, CDC, and the National Institute of Health to issue guidelines and advisories for the people of the United States to follow as how to coexist with an illness, virus, etc., but then let the people accept and follow those guidelines and advisories at their own risk.
Hell, we Americans from every walk of life, culture, and race, take risks every day. Every time we get into our car, walk down or across the street, fly in a plane, and interact with other people we take a risk and we weigh that risk as we go through our daily lives. Coronavirus (COVID-19) should be no different. I believe once the guidelines and advisories were laid out, each and every individual then had the choice to make up their own mind as to the degree of risk they want to take.
We Americans clearly DO NOT need Governors of each state telling us who can work, who has to shelter in a closed environment and hibernate in our house or apartment, who can and cannot work. work. (Note: It's easy for them because they continue to receive a paycheck so they can pay their mortgage and/or rent and meet their financial obligations.) It is not for them to set draconian laws and violate the law of the land and Constitution.
It is my belief that many of these liberal Governors's are clearly restricting the American peoples freedom, rights, liberty and are committing clear constitutional violations for their own political agendas. They are intentionally extending their "executive orders" and prolonging the economic crisis preventing America commerce and industry to move forward.
Folks, the powers given to these Governor's to shut down their state are generally for emergency situations and they are meant to be enacted ONLY ON A TEMPORARY basis. The powers given to the Governor's were not meant in any way, shape, or form to allow them to try to act as a God, and to rule with a boot on the necks of the citizens of their state..
I submit that once the guidelines and advisories were laid out before the public on how to best deal with COVID-19, the lawmakers should have gotten out of the way and let the innovative owners of businesses, industry and commerce adapt to the situation.
If many every day employees and employers can keep their doors open and conduct business, and have people shop in grocery stores,large box stores, liquor stores, marijuana outlets, etc., by following guidelines of face covers, social distancing (6 feet), washing hands, and disinfecting surfaces, I suggest that every other business establishment can operate and do the same under the same guidelines. People, EVERY BUSINESS, large and small, corporation or mom and pop stores are ESSENTIAL businesses. But right now these Governor's are picking and choosing winners by deciding what business can make money and what business cannot make a living. That's WRONG. If some can follow guidelines and sell their product, other businesses can certainly do the same.
Folks, those in the service and hospitality business, the travel and energy industries, and most every other employment sector across the nation have the brains to know that they can adapt and model their business practice to fit into, and within, the recommended guidelines and advisories.
Example, all of these employment sectors can accommodate things like face covers, social distancing and space markers six feet apart, constant and/or frequent disinfecting procedures, etc., for all of their customers and employees. And, you can bet, that if they failed to follow the recommended guidelines and advisories, customers would not patronage their business. It's called FREE MARKET, folks.
So, I would like to suggest to President Trump and the White House that they should immediately order doctor Fauchi and his scientific colleagues to return to their labs, research centers and institutions and do what THEY do best. Fauchi is a good virologist. He deals with infectious disease control, that's is what he should be working on. The President then should instruct the Governor's of each state to allow the small mom and pop business communities as well as the large business and corporations take the reins and open to the general public if they can and will follow the recommended guidelines set down by the President.
I believe to this day that doctor Fauchi OVERREACTED. He was like Chicken Little running around yelling , "the sky is falling, the sky is falling", and it really wasn't. There could have been a satisfactory compromise between the health and safety of the people in the country and allowing the commerce, business and industrial sectors of the nation to still produce, turn out their "widgets" and products and let them provide their services. Doctor Fauchi and his colleagues brought about a great catastrophe upon this land. SHAMEFUL! - And, that's my opinion. I suggest you look at the situation with open eyes and draw your own conclusions. You decide.

GOVERNOR'S FOULED UP COVID-19 FROM THE GET-GO. STOP YOUR POWER GRABS. OPEN AMERICA'S ECONOMY "NOW".

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
The so-called experts, and especially the Governors of the states failed big time when it came to controlling COVID-19 with the initial onset in the Washington State nursing home.
Remember folks, the first mass outbreak got its foot hold in a nursing home and it quickly caused numerous deaths of the vulnerable senior citizen population. But instead of addressing the immediate problem at hand the so-called experts ran around like "Chicken-Little," screaming, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling" and advised President Trump to immediately lock down the entire nation. What?--
Instead of immediately attacking COVID-19 at the facilities that were the petri dish for infecting others (nursing homes, assisted living , rehab centers, containing senior citizen patients), the experts and Governor's chose to ignore the problem. Thus, the infectious virus got loose from the facilities and began infecting people in dense areas such as New York City. And, even after New York Governor Cuomo requested, and received over, above, and beyond, first class assistance from the federal government he came up with the lame-brain , bone-headed decision to send COVID-19 patients back into nursing homes and facilities allowing the COVID-19 patients to infected others that had not yet been infected. New Jersey followed Cuomo's policies and did the same thing.
While all of this was happening, the so-called experts in Washington still ignored the problem and still continued to failed to surge medical equipment, PPE's and doctors and nurses to the root of the problem. How dumb is that? Right?
People, if a five-year-old child sees a house on fire, he is going to throw the bucket of water at the house on fire. Hell, the child is not going to run two or three streets away and throw the bucket of water on a house that is not burning down.
The experts and Governor's decided to fan the flames by using fear to frighten the people of the country while placing draconian executive orders on the people of their states.
However, I give kudos to one Governor that stands out regarding direct action on COVID-19. That is Governor DeSantis, of the great state of Florida. He had the correct insight to see that the COVID-19 virus problem was in senior citizen facilities and took swift and direct action by concentrating medical needs to the nursing homes, assisted living facilities and rehabs centers in his state.
Folks Governor DeSantis did the right thing. He poured the bucket of water on the burning house, where the fire was raging. HOORAY!!!
I submit that if the government experts (ha-ha,) would have immediately addressed the COVID-19 virus outbreak, (at the initial cause of the mass deaths )-- nursing home in Washington state, they could have initiated a swift and sure containment of the problem.
I submit that these lamebrain Governor's wake up and concentrate restrictions and lock downs on ONLY the areas that present an immediate threat to the majority of the population of their states. ENOUGH of this power grab that went to their heads with their continued threats, intimidation and outrageous demands on the citizens of their states.
Governor's, especially of New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Michigan, California, Washington and Oregon should come to their senses and just use SIMPLE LOGIC AND REASON over EMOTION. Face the fact that the nation now has to live with this virus, just as we have to live with Flu, Pneumonia, Cancer, Measles and Small Pox and other scary diseases.
The people of the USA have always continued to conduct business as usual for decades living with the threats of diseases and NEVER has the entire nations economy been LOCKED AND SHUT DOWN. If the power hunger Governor's cease their own private and political partisanship regarding COVID-19 and listen to the PEOPLE of America and get serious about using simple logic and reason instead of acting on politics and emotion, America can survive. Both small and large business and corporations can innovate ways and policies within their business to work in and around this COVID-19 pandemic. - And, that's my opinion. I suggest you look at the circumstances and the situation and come to your own conclusion. You decide.

TELEVISION NETWORK HOSTS, COMMENTATORS ARE HYPOCRITICAL.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
How disingenuous and hypocritical many of these talking heads on television are when it come to covering the COVID-19 situation. I can't count how many times these TV hosts on the major networks, like NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX NEWS, etc., look into the camera and say something like, "We have to get back to work." What? These clowns are working. They are collecting a paycheck just by being classed as an essential service. They are meeting their rent and mortgage. They show up with coiffed and barbered hair. This group of people are not missing any meals.
They muse,sermonize and go into dissertations about how they relate to average John and Jane Doe who is not working and not eating and missing mortgage or rent payments, but they themselves show up for work and cash their paycheck. They keep whining and sniveling about having to shelter in place and why they can't be on the set with their colleagues. Well, BOO HOO, for them. The only things they miss are getting out of their homes and enjoying a seven course meal at a must be seen named restaurant.
I would venture to say that some of these major network hosts and commentators are raking in 30 or 40 Million Dollars, or more a year, and they are saying, "We want to get back to work?" Who are they kidding.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
How disingenuous and hypocritical many of these talking heads on television are when it come to covering the COVID-19 situation. I can't count how many times these TV hosts on the major networks, like NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX NEWS, etc., look into the camera and say something like, "We have to get back to work." What? These clowns are working. They are collecting a paycheck just by being classed as an essential service. They are meeting their rent and mortgage. They show up with coiffed and barbered hair. This group of people are not missing any meals.
They muse,sermonize and go into dissertations about how they relate to average John and Jane Doe who is not working and not eating and missing mortgage or rent payments, but they themselves show up for work and cash their paycheck. They keep whining and sniveling about having to shelter in place and why they can't be on the set with their colleagues. Well, BOO HOO, for them. The only things they miss are getting out of their homes and enjoying a seven course meal at a must be seen named restaurant.
I would venture to say that some of these major network hosts and commentators are raking in 30 or 40 Million Dollars, or more a year, and they are saying, "We want to get back to work?" Who are they kidding.

PELOSI-THE HOUSE SHOULD TAKE SAME RISKS WE DO. OR NO PAYCHECK.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
What a sham Congress is pulling on us. The House hasn't been in to work for weeks. Pelosi said she's not going to bring the House back into session. WOW!
While essential worker's like medical, police, fire, postal worker's grocery store worker's, fast food employees and others are on the front line showing up to do their job Pelosi refuses to have the House Democrats show up in Washington D.C., to do their job.
When it comes to the COVID-19 crisis Congress people are always spouting the phrase "We are all in this together," but that's really a crock on their part. They do not want to put themselves in the same risk pool as the rest of America. They continue to get their hair done by others, yet they restrict Americans across the country from visiting beauty or barber shops. They continue to enjoy a paycheck while we, out here in the real world go bankrupt . This "We are all in this together thing is a BIG JOKE, when it comes to the privileged, Congress people.
Folks, these self-entitled, privileged lawmakers who make close to $200,000 a year are continuing to collect their paycheck, , not working for us citizens, and Nancy Pelosi sits at home and eats special ordered ICE CREAM. If Congress is not essential workers I don't know what is. They are the ones that are supposed to show up, ON THE JOB, during times of crisis. Yet, CRICKETS in the halls of Congress. That's shameful!
These idiots should not be allowed to collect a paycheck when they do not show up at their desks for work. If the vulnerable, the senior citizen have to out and about to shop for their groceries and fill their gas tank while following the social distancing rule, and wear a face cover, I submit there is no reason why these wimpy, corrupt lawmakers, cannot take the same RISKS as everyone else in the nation.
The hard worker's of the USA, the people not in Congress, are keeping this dire situation stable by providing food on the table and keeping essential services running, and these Congress people are taking full advantage. They are keeping their bellies full. I bet they sure are not missing a meal or experiencing any trouble getting toilet paper hand sanitizer and other needed products that the average John and Jane Doe searches for each and every day.
Congress should pass legislation that they will not GET PAID if they do not show up in their offices to do the work of the people of the United States. I suggest that if we, us everyday citizens, can practice social distancing and wear face wear while going about our daily business, these lazy, do nothing lawmakers in the House CAN DO THE SAME. These Congress people should have to take the same risks and advice that they subject us to. - And, that's my opinion. You look at the situation and come to your own conclusion. You decide.
