INFORMATION ON AN EPILEPSY PROBLEM.

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Reply to  GS:

Some of the information you offered about your condition said that your hand shook uncontrollably for at least three hours. You say your hand had been giving you problems for years and continually shakes when you read a book, newspaper and write, or hold something like a coffee cup. You also mention you have a history of two different types of epilepsy. Based on the information you provided, here is my opinion, without making any medical claims or offering you medical advice.

GS,   Since you  suffer from epilepsy  you are already familiar with seizures. Seizures can be described as generalized, meaning that it affects both sides of one's brain.  However a focal manifestation  will only affect one side of the brain. But remember, people with epilepsy can  also experience  generalized and focal seizures.

Generalized seizures  display motor problems, which are the  tonic-clonic type seizure (what some refer to as  "grand mal" (or) non-motor problems---absent a seizure (what some refer to as' petit mal).

Seizures often effect one's consciousness. From your  description I would suspect  a "focal" type seizure,  since what you describe does not  affect your consciousness. This type also  is referenced as "epilepsia partialis continua." This usually occurs in those people who have a history of epilepsy. It generally  comes to the forefront if and when the person is experiencing stressful situations.

Thank you for your inquiry.-- That's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
