OBAMA'S SPEECH RANG HOLLOW. OUR GOVERNMENT & THE UK USED CHEMICAL WEAPONS ON THEIR CITIZENS BUT NOTHING IS EVER SAID ABOUT THAT. WHY?

THE KUHNS REPORT

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

President Obama's speech last night, September 10, 2013 was a bunch of mish-mosh and mumbo-jumbo.. The only reason he said he would give diplomacy a chance was because he KNEW that he did not have the votes in Congress for military action. Plus, he wanted an extension of time  so he can attempt to convince the lawmakers on the Hill to vote for military action.  Hell, as CBS news reported before and after Obama's speech over sixty(60) percent of the American people are against any military action in Syria. CBS also reported that the calls coming into the White House are 4000 to one against the USA using force in Syria.

Obama said in his speech that we should take a stand against any country using chemical weapons. He also said the 1400 adults and children that were killed by chemical weapons is the reason that the USA should respond with a military strike. But not once in that gobbly-goop did you hear president Obama say that the United States condoned chemical weapons use by allowing Saddam Hussein to gas thousands of Iraqi's and Iranians. In fact the U.S. actually gave Hussein financial support and intelligence reports as we and the rest of the world turned a blind eye to those thousands of  Iraq citizens being gassed. Hypocrite? Do you think?

To say Syria's brief chemical attack killing 1400 people is a reason for the United States to attack Syria is ludicrous. Firstly, we really don't know for a fact if the Syrian government or the rebels used gas attacks. It might have been each side using the gas to blame one another. Second, people have been dying in this Syrian civil war for over a year now. Whether the deaths are caused by a gas attack or bullets  people are dead. How the people of Syria choose to wage their civil war is their business. It is not our obligation to  settle their disputes.

In Obama's speech he said that  his military strike would allow certain  rebel groups to succeed with his support and his military attack. Yet, out of the other side of his mouth Obama tells the American people that he  will not take sides in the civil war conflict. What? He is going to support rebels and diminish  the Syrian government's capability to fight the rebels. We all know that  many of these rebel groups are actually Al Queda. So now the administration is going to partner with Al-Queda? Doesn't make sense to me folks. How about you? I thought we were in the Mid East to rid the region of Al-Queda.

I submit that the only person offering any level-headed, sensible solution to the Syrian fiasco is Russia's president Putin. His plan to have Syria surrender the chemical weapons under the watchful eye of the U.N. and other country monitors is a good one.

To show how jaundiced Obama and his Democratic party is about Syria's conflict let me cite  a news conference that Senator Harry Reid gave on CBS. Even as  Russia's Putin put a logical plan on the table Reid opens his big mouth and shouts to the world that Syria can't be trusted - - this even before Putin gave all the details of his  plan. I suspect that Obama, Senator Reid, Secretary of State John Kerry and others in the Democratic party are scheming to start a military action against Syria no matter what other countries say or do. That's sad people. No matter what may occur through peaceful talks these idiots  already have their minds made up that there will be military action against Syria.

In his speech to the nation Obama basically said that the United States has to take a stand against chemical weapons and that we are the country that should step up to the plate. He also said that we are not the worlds policeman - -What? This non-military president had our troops fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan, and a covert war in Pakistan, all at one time. We were and are policing in all of those countries. Christ, we still have troops in Germany sixty (68) years after world War II . And, lets not forget Korea. We still have military troops in Korea sixty (60) years after the Korean war. AND, WE ARE NOT policeman of the world? Who is Obama kidding?

Now, as to use of chemical weapon by other countries I should mention the UK (United Kingdom), according to a post by  Brian Andrews on January 9, 2011 - - The Brit's admits spraying deadly chemical weapons on their citizens. The UK Ministry of Defense admits to spraying much of the UK with dangerous chemicals during secret biological trials from 1940 to 1979. When asked if such experiments were once again being perpetuated against an unsuspecting population, Sue Ellison, spokesperson for a government laboratory replied: 'It is not our policy to discuss ongoing research."

U.S. Government  Used Chemicals on American Cities and People

I acknowledge the Wall Street Journal and author Jim Carlton and the article titled:
"Of Microbes and Mock Attacks-51 Years Ago, The Military Sprayed germs on U.S. Cities."

Relating to chemical weapons used by the United States let me cite the above mentioned  article by Jim Carlton and the Wall Street Journal: In this writing I will mention particular sections of the 2001 copyrighted article by the Wall Street Journal and give them credit for the coverage.

Fifty-One years ago, Edward J. Nevin checked into a San Francisco hospital, complaining of chills, fever and  a generalized feeling of fatigue and malaise. Three weeks later this pipe-fitter was dead, the victim of what doctors said was an infection of the bacterium Serratia marcescens. It was only learned decades later that Nevins and ten (10) other patients who were hospitalized at the same time were sprayed with deadly bacterium. This according to the Senate subcommittee hearing in 1977. It came out that the U. S. Army had staged a mock biological attack on San Francisco, secretly spraying the city with Serratia and other agents. The Army's excuse - - they thought the  chemical agents were harmless. Wow!

Their goal was to determine what might happen if a real germ warfare attack was  launched upon the city. The dumb experiment authorized and condoned by administration officials and the military involved blasting a bacterial fog over the entire 49-square-mile city from a Navy vessel offshore and recorded with clinical nonchalance: "It was noted that a successful BW (biological warfare) attack on this area can be launched from the sea, and that effective dosages can be produced over relatively large areas," the Army wrote in its 1951 classified report on the experiment.

Secret biological warfare tests were conducted by the government on San Francisco and other American cities from the 1940's through the 1960's, experts say.

"We learned a lot about how vulnerable we are to biological attack from those tests, says  Leonard Cole, an adjunct professor of political science at Rutgers University in New Jersey and author of several books on bio terrorism." I'm sure that's at least one reason why crop dusters were grounded after the September 11th  attack The military knows how easy it is to disperse organisms that can affect  people over large areas."

In other tests in the 1950's, Army researchers dispersed Serratia on  Panama City, Florida and Key West, Florida. they also released fluorescent compounds over Minnesota and other Midwestern states to see how far they would spread in the atmosphere. The particles of zinc-cadmium-sulfide (now a known cancer-causing agent) were detected 1,000 miles away in New York state.

During the 1977 hearings the Army fessed up to releasing other bacterium such as Bacillus globigii on unwitting residents in San Francisco, New York and Washington, D.C.

In New York, military researchers in 1966 spread Bacillus subtilis variant Niger in the subway system by dropping light bulbs filled with the bacteria onto the tracks in stations in midtown Manhattan. The bacteria was carried for miles throughout the subway system, leading Army officials to conclude in a January 1968 report:  "Similar covert attacks with a pathogenic (disease-causing) agent during peak traffic periods could be expected to expose large numbers of people to infection and subsequent illness and death."

Army officials also found widespread dispersal of bacteria in a May 1965 secret release of Bacillus globigii at Washington's National Airport and its Greyhound bus  terminal according to reports released a few years after the Senate hearings. More than 130 passengers who had been exposed to the bacteria traveled to 39 cities in seven states in the two weeks following the mock attack.

The Army kept  the biological-warfare tests secret until word of them leaked to the press in the 1970's. According to the Army's testimony in 1977 before the Senate 's subcommittee on health. In 80 of the 239 times biological agents were conducted 80 of those experiments used live bacteria that (at the time) supposedly, were thought to be harmless, such as the Serratia that was showered on San Francisco. In  the other experiments it used inert chemicals to simulate bacteria.

Several medical experts have since claimed that an untold number of people have gotten sick as a result of the germ testing..

"The possibility cannot be ruled out that peculiarities in wind conditions or ventilation systems in building might concentrate organisms, exposing people to high doses of bacteria," testified Stephen Weitzman of the state University of New York, in the 1977 Senate hearings..

Justification by the Army was that the tests were a response to evaluate how microbes released on a populated city would disperse.

In the case of the San Francisco experiment between September 20 and September 27, 1950 a navy mine -laying vessel cruised the San Francisco coast, spraying an aerosol  cocktail of Serratia and bacillus microbes over the city from giant hoses on deck, according to declassified Army reports. According to lawyers who have reviewed the reports, researchers added  fluorescent particles of zinc-cadmium-sulfide to better measure the impact. Based on results from monitoring equipment at 43 locations around the city, the Army determined that San Francisco had received enough of a dose for nearly all of the city's 800,000 residents to inhale at least 5,000 of the particles.

Two weeks after the spraying, on October 11, 1950, Mr. Nevin checked in to Stanford Hospital in San Francisco with fever and other symptoms. Ten other men and women checked in to the same hospital - -which has since been relocated to Stanford University in Palo Alto, California - -with similar complaints. Doctors noticed that all 11 had the same malady: a pneumonia caused by exposure to bacteria believed to be Serratia marcescens. Mr Nevin died three weeks later. The others recovered. the doctors were so surprised by the outbreak that they reported it in a medical journal, oblivious at the time to the secret germ test.

The Nevins family sued the United States government. The attorney who filed the suit was Nevins grandson, Edward J. Nevins III, a San Francisco attorney. The Nevins family appealed the suit all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court, which declined to overturn lower court judgments upholding the government's immunity from lawsuits.

Today, the U.S. Military is again patrolling San Francisco's coastline. guarding against someone who might try to copy the Army's tests of  half century ago.

A question to be asked: How do we protect our citizens against covert chemical attacks by our own government?

This blog piece is to show the American people that all of the bluster and statements made by president Obama during his September 10, 2013 speech about a military attack on Syria doesn't track, at least with me. In the coming weeks I will try to elaborate on other incidents of chemical gas attacks, germ warfare and human experimentation on the American people by  our government. My point being - -there are quite a number of countries whose hands are dirty, including ours. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
