LAS VEGAS- Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Violence erupts  again during a very peaceful anti-hate rally at Berkeley. Not in the  too distant past these same  "anarchists" threw rocks and bottles, used fists and clubs against persons who they didn't agree with and/or think like they did. This mob of marauders is called "Antifa." They carry clubs, torches, shields, dress in black clothes  and they cover their faces so as not to be recognized.

The more that 100  Black-clad punks and thugs wearing hoods, carrying shields emblazoned with words "no-hate" and waving a flag identifying themselves as anarchists stormed into a peaceful rally at Berkeley and attacked people. What did the Berkeley police do? NOTHING! Berkeley police chief Andrew Greenwood said he made a strategic  decision to allow the anarchists to enter so that he could avoid more violence. WOW! What a cop out. There were thousands of people in the park peacefully protesting and chief Greenwood willingly and knowingly let the  attackers to  go forward with their plan of violet destruction. And this guy is chief of the department?

He went on to say: " There  is no need for a confrontation over a grass patch." What a dopey, irresponsible response.  I submit--there is a need for confrontation when you see people assaulting each other or destroying property. He and his department officers just stood by like a bunch of statues and watched the assaults and violence play out in front of their eyes --not lifting a finger to "PROTECT AND SERVE."

I would say a  large part of the blame can be shared by Berkeley  Mayor Jesse Arreguin because it appears the entire city policy is to condone  violence and hate with an attempt to squelch speech that  the lawmakers in Berkeley doesn't agree with. That's sad.

Sid Heal, president of the California Association of Tactical Officers, said,  it's "always a tough call" for officers to determine how to react when they respond to a crowd on the verge of a riot." YIKES! That's another cop, copping out. Here are some things that should be done:

1. These rally's/marches need and/or require a permit, so-- Set up barricades to separate the two different groups before the rally begins.

2. Prior to the rally/march police officials should advise both sides that violence and assaults of any kind will not be tolerated. State a "zero" tolerance policy to violence of any kind..

3.Have a sufficient number of officers on the ready, on site, to quell any violence  from the beginning.
 As soon as  the first fist is thrown, assault  committed-- arrest the person immediately, as well as each and every person who commits  violence and/or property damage. I don't care if it's one person or one hundred people.  If they commit at violence and/or damage to property during the rally/march--arrest them all.

4. Lay down rules for the demonstrators and/or protesters. No one can wear masks or cover their faces to the point where the person cannot be identified; no shields, torches, clubs or anything that can be construed as a weapon  is allowed in the area of the protest and counter-protest.

Just following some of the above suggestions I would submit that  the chance for violence  or property damage  will be reduced to a large degree.

What frustrates me is when people who are sworn to protect and serve, and paid big, big bucks and  provided lucrative and large pensions to do a job, fail to  do the job. For example, Heal said he helped the University of California, Berkeley . prepare for any unrest ahead of an appearance by author Ann Coulter in April . Wow! A lot of good it did. Instead of  arresting the  troublemakers, those anarchist's, who set fires, broke windows, and committed numerous acts of violence and property damage, the police officers stood by, scratched their heads and butts , while crimes were being committed. And what does Heal say? Get this--"I wouldn't fight over a piece of land that has no value." Can you believe that? Folks, with attitudes like this we have no LAW --and without the law we have no ORDER.

 It's disappointing to see police officers who are trained to use  specific tactics in situations as crowd control, riots, etc.,, who are geared up with equipment that can counter  most any situation but are afraid of bunch of punks and thugs dressed only in black clothing, wearing tennis shoes/sneakers, a scarf or mask to cover their cowardly face and who can' fight worth a damn (videos show them punching and flailing around like a bunch of cats in a sack.) If the police officers would take action and confront these imbeciles , it would be no contest--law and order would win every time up against the wimpy punks.

It's looks as though it has come to the point where the police officers are ordered to stand down by their superiors, or by their mayor and political leaders. I have always had great respect for law enforcement, especially the line officers. out on the streets each and every day.I support  law enforcement with all my being. However, there are times the officers themselves choose not to take action because they are afraid for themselves. They retreat from the situation. That's when law and order runs amok. Imagine if our military  service men and women took the same  crappy attitude and said:  " I wouldn't fight  over a piece of land that has no value." I ask you --where would America be today? -- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.

THE MAYOR AND CHIEF OF POLICE OF HOUSTON DROPPED THE BALL BEFORE  HURRICANE HARVEY HIT.

There are two people involved in the Harvey disaster that should be faulted --BIG TIME.

The first bubblehead is Houston Police Chief, Art Acevedo.  He, like most people in the United States knew the hurricane was on its way at least NINETY-TWO (92) hours before it hit landfall, in Houston. Every weather person in the media was covering the oncoming terror for days. You couldn't miss it.The hurricane was being tracked on a daily basis. While other cities  in Texas were ordering mandatory evacuation of its citizens Acevedo  made the decision not to order a mandatory evacuation He  pooped around and let residents stay in their houses. Result-- shortly after the hurricane hit, people began to die. Then he went on television and  made excuses why he did not think people of Houston was not told to evacuate. What a dumb move on his part. The second bubblehead is Mayor Turner, of Houston. He failed to issue a mandatory evacuation order.  Only after thousands of  rescues, and many deaths did he "recommended" people evacuate the city.  And this was only  after he reluctantly took a call from the  Governor of the state of Texas.  I guess pressure got to the mayor because  it had been reported widely that he  had been refusing to accept any calls from the Governor. But after the  two talked the wimpy mayor (who seemed to play politics because he is a democrat), and the  Governor, a Republican,  decided to  advise evacuation.  These two men, the police chief and the mayor of Houston appear to be a pair of Johnny-Come-Late morons,

And to top it off, the mayor tried to rationalize his refusal to  order a mandatory evacuation by saying:  " A mass evacuation of people by car was a greater risk than enduring the storm." He went o to say: "Both the county judge and I sat down together and decided that we were not in direct path of the storm, of the hurricane, and the safest thing to do was for people to stay put, make the necessary preparations.  I have no doubt that the decision we made was the right decision." Really? What a jerk.

He went on to state: Can you imagine if millions of people had left the city of Houston and then tried to come back in right now? What is it with this "fail to act" guy?

Just for starters, here is some things he could have done DAYS before the hurricane hit land. There was  sufficient time to prepare:

1. Days before the hurricane hit landfall the mayor could have went before the cameras and told the people of Houston that he was going to order a "mandatory evacuation" of the  city. Telling the residents that they had a few days to depart, and that they must leave the city. The people could have left the city by car, plane, train, etc. ---days before the hurricane touched ground.

2. He could have  told the  people of Houston how serious and  damning the oncoming hurricane was expected to be ( a category 5). The information was right there in front of his eyes. Every weather report predicted the severity of the hurricane.

3. He could have lined up (well in advance)  a fleet of buses to evacuate  people of Houston. He could have allowed for enough transportation of  the elderly, and those people who could not drive vehicles; he could have prepared to evacuate and transport the disabled; the sick, the nursing home residents and patients from hospitals. The mayor could have requested that the Governor allow the National Guard help and assist in the cities evacuation.

4. The mayor could have told the residents  of Houston that the mandatory evacuation order would stay in effect until such time he would go before the cameras and  advise the people they could return to the city. That act alone would prevent any resident from trying to return to the city before it was safe to do so. Once  the proper Federal, State, and local government officials cleared the  way for return--people could come back.

5. The mayors lame excuse about people coming back early could have been prevented by the mandatory evacuation and prohibition of  returning until he and other state officials gave permission. Fact is, if  some of these steps would have been put into effect by the mayor it would have  been an orderly evacuation of the millions of people in Houston.

 I submit people could have been out of Houston days before the hurricane hit. Lives could have been saved. But the bungling of the mayor and chief of police and a county judge caused much of the problems in Houston. It was only  "after the fact" that  evacuations were started. And now the mayor and chief of police want to say they did everything they could and  are working  in unison with the rescuers. What a joke. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. DEATH PENALTY INMATES SHOULD BE EXECUTED IN A TIMELY MANNER. JUSTICE SHOULD BE SERVED.

Where's the justice?  Serial   killers and many murderers are put on trial and found guilty by a jury of their peers and sentenced to death. But - - these serial killers, even mass murderers sit on death row for  twenty (20) years or more before their sentence is  carried out. The jury had spoken but the judges and attorneys fail to follow through.

For example-lets take Joseph Paul Franklin, a white supremacist who targeted Jews and blacks in a cross country killing spree. Beginning in 1977 through 1980 he wreaked havoc on innocent people. Franklin, 63 killed Gerald Gordon in a sniper shooting at a suburban  St. Louis, MO synagogue in 1977. He went on to kill six people in a cafe' and wounded 16 others. and then using a bomb killed five (5) shoppers and wounded still fifteen (15) more.In 2013, this guy finally got the death penalty. But wait! It was no thanks to a lackluster judge who halted the execution crying about the method of execution. The judge said it would be a hardship on this scum bag. Luckily, some clearer minds prevailed and Franklin was put to death Wednesday, Missouri's first execution in nearly three years. So - -we have been feeding and taking care of this mass murderer for about THIRTY-THREE (33) YEARS. WOW!

Then there is the case that happened in my old stomping grounds of Los Angeles, California where Dough Clark and Carol M. Bundy ravaged the countryside. They were known as the "Sunset Strip Killers." They took seven victims that we know about. It started in June 1980, that is when the first body was found in a brush area near the Forest Lawn embankment.

Clark would troll Sunset Boulvard and pick up prostitutes.He would have them give him oral sex and at the time they were performing the sex act on him he would shoot them in the head.  He used a 25 caliber pistol  and copper jacket bullets as his choice of weapon.Clark's sidekick Carol Bundy joined in the preverse acts of sex, torture and mutilation with a vengeance. She was as brutal as he was. Often she would play the loving wife in order to lure the victims into the car.

On one occasion the two murders cut of the head of one of the  prostitutes, took it home and put it in a freezer. Carol would take the head from the freezer and make the face up and do its hair. Doug Clark would take the severed head into the bathroom and have sex with it.

Carol also killed a prior lover of hers and also severed his head and brought it home to Clark to show him that her old lover was out of the picture and that he, Doug,  was the only man for her.

In 1983, Clark was convicted and sentenced to death. Carol Bundy was sentenced to life only because she testified against Clark. Clark acted as his own attorney. He relished the idea that he had a stage to show off his imagined talents in the courtroom. During the trial Clark spew vulgar, foul words at the judge and threw things at the prosecutor (I think it was just for show to get more attention). He turned the entire trial into a circus. But in the end he received  the death penalty.

When Carol Bundy was asked how she felt about decapitating the heads of her victims she told a reporter interviewing her that she enjoyed it and enjoyed killing. She also made the comment , "it was really a bitch to try to get makeup on a frozen head." She said the makeup kept smearing.
Carol Bundy died in  prison on December 9, 2003, at the age of 61 from heart failure. But her partner in crime, Doug Clark, is still sitting on death row., eating  regular meals, getting free medical care and sleeping soundly every night at  our taxpayer expense.

During  an interview Clark told authorities that he killed at least FIFTY people starting at the age of 17-years old. He  also said that he wanted to kill at least  ONE HUNDRED people before he died.  Again, to remind all of you. This is our crazy, dysfunctional justice system at work - -THIRTY YEARS has come and gone since he was sentenced to death and this dirt bag is still living and breathing. Go figure!

Another case worth mentioning is Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel, the 53-year-old nephew of Robrert F. Kennedy's widow, Ethel. This guy was convicted of the 1975 murder of neighbor Martha Moxley, who was a teenager. She was  bludgeoned to death, allegedly  with a golf club. But it appears because of his political influence, some milk toast, sympathy crying judge decided to let him out of prison saying he deserves a new trial. He  spent 11 years behind bars on a sentence of 20 years in prison. The jury convicted this scuzz of murder but for reasons only known to the judge he lets this man skate. However, to the credit of the prosecutors --they are going to appeal the decision of  the judge. I believe the long running legal battle is far from over.

Another rapist, killer , Ronald Phillips,43 was condemned to die way back in 1993, for the brutal rape and murder of his girlfriend's 3-year-old daughter, Sheila Marie  Evans. But he sat on Ohio's death row enjoying life (eating, sleeping, bathing, tv., and other fringe benefits),on our taxpayers dime until finally, after 24 years he was put to death.  It was Ohio's first execution since 2014. Then in 2014, an inmate was put to death at the time and  it took him about 26 minutes to die. Witnesses said he snorted and gasped during the procedure. Because of that, Governor John Kasich reacted by putting a hold on all executions. What?  The Gov felt sorry for this murderer because he gasped and snorted during his execution. Are you kidding me? Put yourself in the place of that little 3-year-old girl as she was being raped and mauled and murdered by this  monster. Did she gasp, snort, cry? Probably.  You have to know this little angel went through hell as Phillips was penetrating her.  If the murderer feels  a little discomfort while being executed --HOORAY! That's the least that can happen to them. I consider it just a small "payback" for the torture and pain they put their victims through. Something the  courts, judges and attorney seem to forget about, or ignore.

Folks, I believe our justice system is flawed to a large degree.   Our judicial system claims  that a person is entitled to a speedy trial. Really? That's clearly is not true in  the millions and millions of cases that go before the courts, especially in capital crimes such as murder. There have been reports of cases that languish in the court system for 4, 5, 6, years, even more , following the arrest of the suspect before the case even comes up for trial. That shouldn't be - - but the games the attorneys, prosecutors and the judges play are responsible for the lack of  speedy trials. The defense attorneys attempt to delay, delay, and delay and  many judges go right along with these tactics. The traumatized families of the victims who yearn for speedy trials and justice are forgotten in the mix. And as time goes on and the delays continue, witnesses die, evidence is lost or misplaced and memories fade (just what the defense attorneys want to happen) and the judges care less and allow  the system to falter and break down.

Personally, I would like to see speedy justice work like it should. First, a speedy trial. Once the suspect is arrested I say bring the idiot suspect(s) to trial promptly. I think  a six month time period would be fair. Once the trail is completed and the jury makes their determination the sentence should be carried out. If the good men and women on the juries say that the suspect(s) is to be sentenced to death then he or she should be put to death (again, in a short period of time) following their conviction.

Appeals? Certainly. The suspect has a right to appeal and those appeals should be heard BUT not over a TWENTY or THIRTY YEAR period. I would prefer to see an appeal process that is stream-lined. An appeals process no more than ONE YEAR would be fair.  I believe that is long enough for the killers attorneys to make their case to an appeals court. And then - - after the year has expired for the appeals process, the killers should be put down, like a dog is put down in a kennel. That to me is, swift, speedy, justice.

I maintain that if these murderers made the decision to kill another person they should know that there will be  swift and final consequences for their depraved act(s). If they knew they would pay with their own life within a year of being sentenced to death  - -these cowards would think twice before they decided to commit the  ultimate crime --taking another persons life. I predict that if a killer knows that he or she will be  put to death within a year after being sentenced to death, the murder rates in this country would drop drastically.However, right now, the murderers have nothing to lose (not even their own life.) They know that they can sit on death row (no matter how heinous the crime) and  not be put to death. They actually snub their nose at the victims families knowing that the chances of them being put to death for decades are practically "zero."

There are some countries that carry out death sentences very quickly. There have been cases in China where the killers were taken from the courtroom to the execution chamber and/or put in front of a firing squad or even shot in the back of the head. The death sentence was  carried out that same day of the sentencing. There have been reports of other countries carrying out the death sentence within days of the sentence being pronounced. There have also been instances where some countries kill the murderer in the same way that he or she killed their victim - - talk about carrying out justice - -now, that's justice.  I would say some of these other countries have no qualms about a speedy trial and quick justice. If we had more of that here in the United States I submit we clearly would have less murders occurring. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

BRITNEY SPEARS: WHO PRETENDS TO SING GETS $30 MIL DEAL. WOW!

Britney Spears just started her two year stint here in Las Vegas a couple nights ago. Her show entitled "A Piece of Me", at Planet Hollywood,  was just another make believe extravaganza . It was put together to look like a cheap Cirque show which  already permeates the Las Vegas strip.

Why Caesars Entertainment would pay a make believe singer/entertainer over $30  million dollars is beyond me. Spears was a teeny bopper years ago. That was great. She was a young, attractive girl at the time that appealed to the tween crowd - -but now she in her 30's and still trying to emulate that teeny-weeney image. I think Spears had her moment in the sun (way back when), but now? For a person who lip-syncs her songs and has done so throughout her career I'm of the opinion that she doesn't have any real talent to offer an adult  audience.

Who would pay $69.00 for the cheapest seat in the house to watch a 30's something lady prance and strut the stage and PRETEND to sing the songs? As I said before, you can't complain about the talent in the show because Spears has none. Her show is nothing but a lot of glitz and glam. It lacks entertainment and is boring and redundant as she goes through her songs that she has been faking  all through her life.

Rumor also it that Spears had her abdomen sprayed painted to enhance her physique for this gig. Wow! Although, I have to say there is one thing I cannot fault Spear's for. That being the fact that she is smart enough to grab the $30 million since Caesars  was apparently dumb enough to shell out all that moola for an act that doesn't sing (for real). Yep, that's big bucks to pay someone to go through the motions of pretending to be a singer - -can you imagine? --And, that's  my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

THE MIDEAST CONFLICT SHOULD HAVE A SOLUTION-IT'S  LONG OVERDUE.

Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

The 22nd. day of fighting between Israel and Gaza. The bloodiest day so far with 128 Palestinians dead.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu  said this will be a prolonged war. Israel is using tanks, airplanes, sophisticated weapons  and all of the military might that te United States gave them. In fact, in congress today, the   lawmakers are passing a  bill giving Israel BILLIONS of dollars to improve the "iron dome" that we gave them years ago. It's not enough that the iron dome is stopping the majority of rockets  fired into Israel. Now we, the good ol' USA is going to give Israel BILLIONS more to improve on a system that has been working. I guess it's not enough to have Israel slaughter the Palestinians by the thousands. Apparently, congress in their fervor for Israel want the Palestinian's wiped out in larger numbers.

There have been proven reports that Israel has already lied about bombing a school and hospital. It appears they faked a video to try to pace the blame on Hamas. Israel states that Hamas has rockets fixed in the hospitals and schools and that is the reason they bomb these places. Really? Can we trust Netanyahu's  words?

It appears Netanyahu really wants to destroy all of the building and homes that he can. It looks as though he wants to kill as many Palestinian men, women and children as he can under the guise of "self-defense." The words for that is "the fog of war". It's an excuse to do as much destruction as one can to the other side.

Currently the Israeli's made sure that the people living in Gaza has no electricity or water. This is a world fiasco and shame on the world for letting Israel get away with this shameful massacre.

Folks, Israel is murdering the Palestinians like they were  fish in a barrel. Example: Israel has the planes, the tanks,the heavy weapons and the support of the USA intelligence community. The poor Palestinians fight the Israeli's with rocks and sticks.

I ask you? What would you do if another nation invaded your state (i.e.) New York, Florida, California --(pick any state) with military might and then occupied that state for decades telling you you can't travel, you can't move around in certain areas? What if you needed the occupiers permission to move about to shop, visit, etc.? I know what you would do --you would fight the occupiers with every breath in your body. No person wants trampled on and told  when and where they can walk and socialize. People, that is what Israel has done for years and years. They, with their military might force the Palestinians to live a miserable life. The Palestinians have to adhere to the forceful orders of Israel or pay the consequences.  That's no way to live.

The sad part of all of this Mideast situation is that the United States has chosen sides and partnered up with Israel. We give them most everything they want and ask for. That's wrong!

What the USA should be is an honest broker. Equality and parity  is important when dealing with two  different factions. I would think that if we gave Israel an iron dome we should have given  the Palestinians an iron dome. If we gave Israel 10 fighter jets, we should give the same to  the Palestinians. The same goes for weapons-- whatever we give Israel we should also give the Palestinians.  Everybody appreciates an even playing field, especially in the Mideast region.

There is never going to be peace  due to the fact that Israel always finds an excuse to sabotage any upcoming peace talks. This same posture has been ongoing for decades. I would suggest that the only way to have peace in the region is to have the rest of the world insist on it. Call together the U.N. and other world powers -- then advise BOTH sides that they will have to live with the borders and rules that the world lays out for them.

Hell, we had no problem with going into Bosnia and separating that country into different factions; we had no problem with going into Iraq and separating the factions, the same in Afghanistan.  What about Korea and Vietnam  Nam. They were divided up by world powers.  So, why do we continually allow Israel to occupy another people (for decades) and dictate their comings and goings?  We can use the UN and world troops to enforce the peace regarding Israel and the Palestinians. And we should do it. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

CONSTRUCTION AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY USE ILLEGAL ALIENS AS SLAVE LABOR.

President Trump's 'Legal" immigration plan, as well as his dealing with the "illegal alien problem is getting  static from the U.S, Chamber of Commerce, and you guessed it,  big business and  the construction and hospitality industry.

A few nights ago a television news program interviewed a few home builders and others from the construction industry. The companies were located  in the state of Texas, Wow! These guys sniveled and cried the blues that they can't get workers to build their homes. They said the construction industry will have to cut back on the number of homes they're building across the country. One contractor claimed that instead of  having eight men building a house, they now have to use four men.

These dingbats are complaining that they cannot hire enough "illegal aliens" to build the house., so they oppose the presidents immigration policies.

Folks, more "illegal aliens" call Texas home outside of California. Texas has the second largest "illegal alien" population --California is in first place.

And, because the construction and hospitality  industry honcho's refuse to pay American citizens, both Hispanic and Caucasian a fair wage, they cry in their beer about not being able to get enough "illegal" aliens to work on the cheap. What's the matter with this picture people?

I am old enough to remember the days when in  the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, when  the construction people that built homes, like  the roofers, the plumbers, the electricians, framers, painters, drywall, carpet layers were Caucasian and blacks. They were being paid a decent wage and  did a fantastic job for the construction industry. It was not only the construction industry --most landscape and lawn service people were both Caucasian and black. True, there were some Latinos, but they were the minority on the job. The Latino population that was working in the construction industry, like the agriculture industry were here on a monitored "guest worker" program. And, when the job or their guest visa came to an end after a specific time, they returned home to Mexico.

But since 1986, once president Ronald Reagan and  the dimwits in congress gave "amnesty" to  approximately THREE MILLION "illegal aliens" living in the United States, everything came apart. We Americans were told that the amnesty was a one time thing, and both president Reagan and congress promised a secure border which would prevent any further illegal aliens from entering the United States. But, as usual,the politicians lied  to us, and congress let the immigration policy fall by the wayside.

The construction and the hospitality industry saw the "illegal alien" work pool as a gold mine for them. They could let the  whites and blacks go from the jobs, and hire the illegal, and pay them peanuts for their sweat and labor. Since the 1986 amnesty, the congress, working  with big business, allowed them to hire  "illegal aliens" for slave wages, closing an eye to the illegal practice.

I would suggest the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in collusion with the construction and hospitality industry, is no better than the "plantation  slave owners" of the old  south  who used Black's for"slave labor" to build everything from plantations to the White House. The only difference now is -- Blacks have been replaced with "Latino illegal aliens."

My  idea. The sniveling, griping construction industry, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and big business and corporations should  pay sufficient wages to the American citizens who were doing these jobs  long  before the amnesty program went into effect.

People, it's these big industries that have been fighting tooth and nail to subvert the immigration policies so they can continue to use  slave labor. The irony of this situation is that  the construction and hospitality industry has been using slave labor for so long, they actually expect their employees to be Latinos. And they use the excuse, saying no one else can do the job. That's crazy thinking.

I support the idea of  all employers hiring "legal"citizens of the country, whether they are White, Black, Asian  or Latino. I  believe we have enough citizens in this country to do the  construction and hospitality work needed to run America.  The  government should step up and pass legislation and laws that each and every employer in the nation "must" use the E-Verify system to insure that each  and every employee is a "legal" citizen.

For those job seekers-- "non-citizens," from Mexico, and elsewhere, who say they will work in agriculture, and pick crops, I suggest we return to the efficient "guest worker" program the U.S. had in effect decades ago.  Those worker;s used to come to the U.S. as a "guest worker"and was monitored while here. When the season or contract was finished, they were accounted for by their employers and returned to their country of origin, until the next season. That's how it should be folks. America used to be so great. What the devil happened?  I guess greedy big business took hold.. --Make your own decisions. You decide.

STOP "ALL" OF EGYPT'S FOREIGN AID. IGNORE THEIR THREATS.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?

Hooray! The Unites States is planning to cut off  approximately THREE HUNDRED MILLION dollars in military and  economic aid to Egypt. It's about time. I  hope the administration  goes through with the plan.  A statement put out by the Egyptian Foreign Minister said Cairo regretted the U.S. decision, calling it a"misjudgment of the nature of the strategic relations that have bound the two countries for decades." The statement went on to say,  "the move reflects a lack of careful understanding of the importance of supporting the stability and of Egypt. What a crock!

The U.S. has been paying this country $13 billion dollars in aid each and every year. Now Egypt is upset because the administration  is going to cut THREE HUNDRED MILLION from that whopping gravy train.

Egypt is bent out of shape and warned us that there may be "negative consequences" for the realization of common U.S-Egyptian interests, which they failed to expand on.

Supposedly the  money stream is being cut off because the U.S. is unhappy with the human rights situation in Egypt. The U.S. demands that Egypt improve its human rights.

Egypt claims to be an important regional partner for the United States because of its control of the Suez Canal, as well as its border to Israel.Really?  Their human rights policies does not  conform to our standards and they are a corrupt nation. They have been continuing to extort the  $3 billion dollars a year from us U.S. taxpayers,asking us to stabilize and support their government. What a joke.

Why should the U.S. stabilize and support  Egypt and their people? We have  our own citizens and country to support and stabilize. Can you imagine how that $13 billion dollars could be used here at home?

What the U.S should do is cut off "all" $13 billion dollars that we  are sending to Egypt. Fact is, there are other countries around the world that we are  paying annual foreign aid to  which amounts to much more that the 13 billion Egypt has been receiving.

Folks. these foreign countries take billions and billion of dollars from  us taxpayers each year. That shouldn't be. We American taxpayers are like a welfare office to these foreign countries. They want us to support them, feed and clothe their people, and pay money under the table in bribes to corrupt politicians. These foreign countries say they are our friends but that is only because we are paying them for their friendship. As long as we  send countries around the world large truckloads of money each year they are  our friends but when and if we cut back (like we did  to Egypt), they scream Holy Hell.

The United States should not be the worlds ATM machine. We shouldn't have to bribe countries to stay on friendly terms with us. For example, Egypt  warns that access to the Suez Canal could be a factor if we don't "pay up."

People, it should be enough for these other countries to know that the U.S. has their back if they are a friends with us. They should know that if they were ever attacked by another country we would be there to assist them, I suggest, that's where any help and aid should end. The United States taxpayers should not be required to support other nations and look out for their citizens.

I know each and every nation around the world has their own treasury. Each country should use their own money from that treasury and  use their countries resources to prop up, stabilize and support their own populations, their military and their government.. That is their job. Not America's.

The USA has a $20 TRILLION DOLLAR deficit. Our lame congress and lawmakers  cannot even get that under control. Yet, they continue to prop up these Banana Republics and  any other country around the world who say they want to be our friend. It comes easy for the lawmakers in congress to spend other people money. It's not theirs. But it is ours, the taxpayers.

I'm in the camp that would favor cutting all foreign aid and/or eliminate it completely. If we held back all foreign aid from these (give me a hand out) countries for just a few years our problem with the national debt ($20 trillion dollars), would be solved overnight. Where the hell is our governments priorities?

When it comes to financial matters, I am a believer of a person taking care of their own needs, FIRST. Then, if  there is money left over after paying all of the bills, consideration would be made to give money away to others. I am frustrated will congress,the lawmakers in Washington, and the lobbying firms representing the corrupt nations who make sleazy deals to prop up these foreign countries.

As far as countries like Egypt threatening to deny access to the Suez Canal, I would strongly let them know they are on their own  if they are very invaded and/or attacked. I would clearly let these countries know that cooperation goes both ways and it should not take extortion to  receive help.  I would think these welfare countries would  get the message.  Actually, I  believe that these countries who scream, cry, and snivel for our help should be paying us for our presence and military might -- without expecting to receive foreign and economic aid. The welfare foreign and economic gravy train has to stop.-- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.
