A reader wanted to know my opinion of the paleo diet. I myself have tried many diets over the years and have tried paleo and I have my preferences but lets discuss the paleo diet. You will be eating a lot of saturated fat  with the red meat, egg yolks and cheese.  Naturally, remember moderation  is the key word when eating these things. All these mentioned foods can change your body metabolism and make-up. There can be changes in your blood stream and and intestinal tract presenting a risk of heart disease, stroke or even cancer. Also I have found that when using this diet I failed to get enough fiber and poly nutrients from whole grain foods which I felt a need for. I switched to a plant-based diet regimen. It is hard for the human body to handle saturated fats for long periods of time or on a regular basis. Plant fats are loaded with polyphenols. That's good.  If your choose to eat animal based food I would suggest  sticking to foods like fish, skinless poultry (turkey and chicken) and other foods like avocados and walnuts and beans. - And, that's  my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
