IS THE JUSSIE SMOLLETT ATTACK FOR REAL? WHO KNOWS?

Actor Jussie  Smollett said he was attacked in downtown Chicago earlier this week and told authorities two masked men allegedly attacked him and had placed a noose around his neck, and he says it was a racist attack.

Thus far, the police could not find video of the attack, and it appears Smollett was inconsistent in his statements and changed his stories to authorities. He later added other factors to his story by saying the two men said " This is MAGA country." He never mentioned such statements in his first go-round with the police.

I have two words for the authorities in Chicago - - TAWANA BRAWLEY, the alleged rape back in 1987. It was later said that Civil Rights activist Al Sharpton, allegedly either  manufactured the false horrific rape accusations or helped and assisted Brawley in making the totally false story up.

As a former criminal investigator I would suggest that is is very easy for any alleged victim to place a noose around their own neck, and later add additional damaging statements to their previous stories in efforts to make it sound even more damaging.

The authorities  has failed to really substantiate that and attacked actually occurred. So that said, if I were the Chicago police I would suggest  that they have Smollett undergo a polygraph examination (lie detector test) to assist in the investigation. It would then be very easy to verify the veracity of Smollett's story.

It should also be remembered that Smollett dislikes President Trump and his politics and policies. It has been reported in the press that Mr. Smollett had made it very clear he does not like our President.

If I were the investigator on this case I would wonder why Smollett later added the Trump remarks allegedly made by his attackers. That would be a place to begin to determine circumstances around the alleged attack. 

I would also suggest that if is proven that the report was made up, false, Mr. Smollett should be prosecuted  to the full extent of the  law.  - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.
