BEFORE DREAMERS GET A FREE PASS THERE HAS TO BE A GUARANTEED STRICT POLICY TO PREVENT A FUTURE DREAMER INVASION.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
There are currently 800,000 illegal aliens who are currently considered "DREAMERS, under the DACA program, which was initiated by former president Obama. However there are a reported 200,000 more "Dreamers" in the pipeline, awaiting clearance. Wow! One million people who want to stay in America. Many of the dreamers are now in their 20's and 30's. But there is a number of misconceptions about these dreamers. Here are just a few which the liberal open border crowd want to push on the public to to make their case for dreamer amnesty.
1. 90 percent and more of the dreamers are employed. That's a farce. The figure was plucked out of the air. There has never been any concrete data or documentation assembled to support this frivolous claim.
2. The dreamers have been paying billions of dollars in taxes. Wrong, wrong, wrong , folks. Since the dreamers were brought here at the young age of 5,6, 7,8, as claimed, and now are in their 20's and 30's, the massive amount claimed to paid in taxes could not be mathematically possible.
3. A majority of the dreamers are currently serving in the United States military. That is a big, big whopper. It is estimated that there are only (800) dreamers currently serving in our military service. Again, do the math folks,. That probably comes out to far lest than 0.1 percent of the dreamers.
It appears the supporters of the dreamers want you to believe there are tons of these dreamers serving in our military--talk about fuzzy math. The dreamer crowd has no qualms about misleading and using misinformation.
4. The dreamers were brought to America by their illegal parents. That is partly true. Many were. But according to Obama's rules-- you just have to have entered the USA illegally before the age of 16-years-old. Thus, many minors came into the country on their own. Remember the large influx of minor children who came here on their own in the recent past?
5. As to the dreamers being in college, the military, and being high school graduates is a bug misnomer. All Obama required was that the person "be enrolled" in high school, even in an alternative program like an on-line study course.
6. For the most part, the dreamers who are working only hold down minimum wage jobs. It's a big lie to say most dreamers are in college and holding down well paying jobs. Fact is, many dropped out of school. It is fiction to say the dreamers are scientists, military personnel, police officers, and firefighters, who are a group wrapped in the American flag and patriotic , Many of the dreamers still refuse to speak English and assimilate into American society.
I still hold the opinion we should not allow an amnesty program for these dreamers. Once the lawmakers allow them to stay in the country every other minor child from around the world will know that all they have to do is illegally sneak into America and they too, will be a citizen. Then, where will it stop? That's wrong.
President Reagan gave amnesty to about three million illegal aliens in 1986. The lawmakers at the time promised the American people that the amnesty program was a one time thing. The president and Congress said the borders would be secure, preventing any further illegal aliens from entering the country. We all know how that promise turned out, don't we?Now we have approximately between 12 and 20 million illegals residing here.
We also have to halt this "chain" migration. Why can new citizens bring in their siblings, and adult children, who can bring in their children, their grandparents, and even their in-laws? If we allow these dreamers the privilege to become citizens and they in turn bring in all of their relatives we will have millions and millions more of additional migrants. And based on past experience these new arrivals will in all likelihood be low-skilled individuals.
I would suggest to president Trump and the administration that before any idea and/or form of amnesty for the DACA immigrants is even considered, some major changes in the way the immigration system now works should be put into place.
(A) I would suggest the administration and Congress make it mandatory that the E-verify system be put into place, which would allow "all" employers in the country to check and verify the legal status of all new employees.
(B) Cease and halt any policy that currently allows distant relative to be brought into the country. Eliminate all chain migration.
(C) Do away with the "anchor baby" program. Automatic citizenship for newborns by an immigrant is not appropriate. The newborn should be a citizen of the parents "country of origin."
Allowing the dreamers into the United states is an act of amnesty. It clearly is not a move at preventing future large, unruly waves of illegal immigrants. -- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
