Folks, the  security of America is at stake. We American citizens  need our lawmakers in Washington to protect the security and safety of each and every citizen by securing our sovereign  borders.

Talk is CHEAP and the continued talk  from President Trump and his change of course every  day on the immigration issue does little to correct the war we have going on at our southern border. His rhetoric sounds great but ACTION is what it takes. President  Trump failed to rally the Republicans to change the  broken immigration laws when they had control of the White House and both chambers of Congress in 2017.

Hell, we  have a crushing 1-MILLION undocumented and illegal aliens expected to cross the-  southern border this year. To put that in perspective,-- there are a number of states that actually have one million population or less inside its borders. Those illegals could fill an entire state very quickly. Just this month we had 70,000 of these migrants enter our country, and  it is estimated that next month the number will be 100,000. Folks, that is unacceptable. Believe it or not while growing up through life I have lived in cities and towns where the population was well under 30,000 population. Can you imagine the impact this massive influx of foreign immigrants will have on different cities around the country? The cities will change dramatically.

Currently the Border Patrol and ICE and Homeland Security are  releasing hundreds of thousands of  illegal border violators into our  cities and towns across America each and every day. Why? Because they have no place to detain and hold them. The Border Patrol, ICE and Homeland Security put these migrants and illegals on buses and bus them into the interior of the United States , and release, I should say DUMP, them on the unsuspected public living in those cities and towns.

When President Trump first came into office there was a big drop in apprehensions at  our southern border BUT the number quickly began to climb. NOW, we have a National Security and humanitarian crisis, threatening our sovereignty, security and way of life in America, as we know it.

Constant rhetoric doesn't cut it.  We all know that the law that prevents immigration officials from quickly and promptly returning minors  from those Northern-Triangle countries and the court decision that strictly limits how long the government can hold minors are a large gaping loophole that  clearly creates a wide open border policy.

President Trump has got to ACT and push , drag, and force feed Mitch McConnell,Senators Paul and Collins, the United States Chamber of Commerce and the RINO Republicans who DO NOT want change to get on board the  Trump train and  CHANGE these  restrictive, damaging laws, in addition to building that wall.  I submit  it takes the border wall, technology with cameras and additional surveillance , additional boots on the ground AND the immediate change in the loophole laws.

People, how ONE  partisan federal judge can set the immigration for the entire country is beyond me.
If it takes the president to  insist the laws be changed by Congress eliminating the immigration visa  birthright, and immigration lottery law--  GO TO COURT, DO IT. This  tactic of  making threats and then immediately RETRACTING them is ridiculous. A word to the president. Mr. President if you make a threat, CARRY THROUGH ON IT. DO NOT let those around you talk you out of it or change your mind. They have their own political agenda. Mr. President, you could also change the "Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act" so that federal officials can send undocumented minors who do not qualify for asylum back to their countries fro which they came. We do it with minors from Mexico and Canada.

Right now the Democrats in the House and many Republicans who want open borders are no different that German Chancellor, Angela Merkel who allowed and invited over a MILLION immigrants into Germany. Just look what happened to Germany after the migrant influx, DISASTER.

President Trump has to focus on a particular goal. That being, change the immigration laws to reduce illegal immigration, The president's newest revelation that Mexico is stepping up in the last four days rings very hollow. How long does he, or anyone really think that Mexico will stop the caravans or prevent the tens of thousands of migrants in those caravans from travelling through Mexico to reach the U.S. border? Mr. President, it's not going to happen. Mexico wants to continue receiving our foreign aid, and lucrative trade deals so they will  say and promise anything to continue receiving those benefits. I predict that  any of these promises made by Mexico will  not last. I suggest that if any promises last for more than a few weeks,it will be a miracle. Mexico will NOT enforce the border. Mark my words.

I fear that this back off by president Trump in regards to CLOSING DOWN the border was a political move instigated by Republican RINO'S, Mitch McConnell and big business telling the president that the move would hurt the 20/20 presidential election. I disagree. If the president shuts down the border the voters in the country will reward him for protecting their way of life and security.  As the flow of migrants through Mexico continues at such dangerous  levels it can only make the situation in our country worse. I suggest that the best way to get Mexico's attention is to CLOSE the border and begin
TAXING the BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in remittances the illegals are sending back to Mexico  each and  every year. Millions of dollars a month are sucked out of our economy and federal coffers by allowing these remittances to leave the USA. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.

PRESIDENT TRUMP BACKS DOWN AGAIN.  MITCH  McCONNELL PULLING THE STRINGS. THAT'S SAD.

WOW! I'm losing my confidence in President Trump. It appears he continues to back pedal on his promises. Most recent example, last week he said: I'm going to shut down the border. I mean it! I'm not kidding. Then just today he went on national television and said: I'm going to give Mexico "ONE YEAR" to stop the immigrants from Central America at their southern border and stop the drugs from being smuggled from Mexico OR I'm going to put tariffs on their cars and close the border. WHAT!!!!!!

Boy, it appears Mitch McConnell is still pulling the strings at the White House and leading President Trump around by the nose. Come on! Wait  ONE YEAR. What the devil is the president thinking?

We have the crisis at the border NOW. Illegal aliens and asylum seekers coming at a rate of 100,000 per month and  they are being released into the United States to await hearings, which takes years and over 90% of those immigrants fail  to show up and continue to hide in the shadows all the while receiving welfare, free education for their family, free health and a number of other free benefits.

President Trump should have  went with his own instincts and CLOSED the border as he said he was going to do. But Republicans and some on the White House staff bend his ear and dissuade him using the excuse an election is coming up. That's all these politicians worry about-- being reelected. Hell, the same thing happened in President Trumps first year in office. McConnell and Paul Ryan conned  him that first year and now McConnell continues on that same path. Just look at  the president's  pronouncement last week saying he will tackle the health care issue and McConnell met with President Trump and said he wouldn't even bring up the healthcare  issue.  Now Trump says  basically, "I will wait until after the 2020 election when we take back the House. What  a Joke!! If Trump's Republican party members continue to squabble and bicker among themselves they WILL NOT take back the House in 20/20.
There is always a new election on the horizon and that's just an excuse to postpone and kick the can down the road. Result--- nothing gets done.

Trump is backing down on many of his proclamations and many, many, many of his promises. That's sad. Especially  for all of us who voted for him and his ideas. He disappointed  me and I would guess  a large majority of the Trump train block of supporters.

He should  disregard McConnel's advice and rid his  party of Republican Rino's  like Senator Collins, Rand Paul and others who are always combating his ideas at every turn and voting against his policies and programs.We need Republicans in office who are  willing to stand behind President Trumps agenda and vote to get it through. Period.

Now these same  Republicans who said then would  carry out Trump's agenda and failed to do so  cry and play the blame game. They say we have a divided Congress and have Democrats controlling the House and that makes it difficult to get anything done. Well, news flash--- if the Republicans that did have a majority in the House would have stopped fighting among themselves and actually put forward  Trump's policies they could have still had a majority  in the House.  These arrogant, idiot Republicans who had the House, Senate and White House, squandered their political capital by splitting and arguing and not sticking together. They should have taken a page fro the Democrats playbook and acted in lockstep. They brought the  loss of the House on themselves. I predict that if they do not get their act together and act as one body, together, the  will lose the House again and possibly even some Senate seats.

In closing, President Trump ran on the signature issue of securing our border. Letting McConnell and a few White House staff that are afraid of losing the 20/20 election run the asylum is time to come to an end. Right now the border is worse off than when Trump took office.  Currently there is an influx of migrants large enough to fill ball stadium after stadium. It has reached a point where  the  migrants illegally entering the United States is more than the population in some of our states. That's wrong.

We stand to have over a million migrants coming across our border within a year. That's as bad a  Germany's, Angela Merkel allowing a  million refugees into Germany a few years ago. What a fiasco that was. And President Trump condemned the act. But he's okay with putting up with allowing a million more migrants  invade our borders and says he will allow Mexico one year to act. Wow! No wonder Trump will lose some voters  next election.

What makes the president think  Mexico will comply?  They won't. They have been smuggling drugs and allowing  Mexicans and other foreigners to enter the U.S. illegally. for decades. Mexico with all of its corruption will continue these practices. The Mexican government is predisposed to do these illegal acts. The country and their corrupt officials  will  not change.

President Trump has to ACT, NOW. If he  wants to place a time for Mexico to respond he should give them only 45 days, ---NOT ONE YEAR. Better yet, put a bunch of these feckless politicians and lawmakers in a room and tell them not to come out until they  come up with a plan to close the immigration loopholes and change the law that's been discussed over and over again. He and lawmakers have said the deal could be hammered out in an hours time. Well, DO IT PRESIDENT TRUMP.  SAVE AMERICA, President Trump. I suggest you act and secure the border instead of empty bluster and  promises that you apparently continue stepping  back on and backing down from. The country is in peril. - And, that's my opinion. MAKE TRANSGENDER SPORTS COMPETITIONS EQUAL.

Recently there has been a lot of news media reports of transgender athletes competing against non-gender athletes. Many colleges had female non-gender athletes complaining about competing against a man who claims to be transgender and wins the competition. Their  position is it is unfair because the male athletes biology gives them unfair advantage. Fact is, many women lost scholarships because the male transgender took the prize.

Is it unfair? I tend to think so. All  the media pundits continually argue how to even the playing field but they never, ever have a reasonable solution. Hey sports people and  talking heads---I have one.

Why not let the non-gender people compete against each other AND the transgender people compete against one another, whether transitioning from male to female or vice-versa.  Have gender-same equality. Two separate competitions. All the transgender men and women compete against one another and the non-transgender individuals compete against one another. Each will have their own category.  That would allow all male and females who made the change to the opposite sex to compete against those  who made the same change also. That would allow them to compete equally against one another, for trophies and scholarships, or whatever prize or award they are competing for.

Thus, the men and women that are not transgender can still compete for their scholarships, prizes and awards against their own counterparts without fear of being disadvantaged. These young athlete each put in rigorous and dedicated training, sometimes for years to build their  athletic skills and talents  for an opportunity to win a scholarship or a chance for greatness and all men and women athletes should be able to compete against one another without any disadvantage.

There have been special needs people competing in special Olympics  for years. Why? Because they want to play and compete in sports,but without a disadvantage. And if many of the special Olympics competitors had to compete against those that were not disabled or who was not physically equipped as a full blown, physically fit baseball, football,  track , tennis, etc., , person, they would lose the competition every time.

I submit, fair competition is great competition. And, if a person has to compete in a sport starting with a disadvantage  from the get-go they lose confidence, well-being, and give up trying. That's wrong.

So, I suggest to all sports venues , arenas, schools, colleges and universities, no matter what level of learning the institution, seriously consider separating the transgender athletes into specific and gender-equal categories and that, I think, would settle any disadvantage brought about by biology and physiological  parameters. Fair is fair people. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.

THIS SPENDING BILL IS A TOTAL DISGRACE. PRESIDENT TRUMP SHOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY FROM IT.

What a big, big disappointment. President Trump signing the budget deal. This bill is filled with "land mines" and "poison pills" that the President said he would look for when the. I mean,  Homeland Security has to "consult with local leaders in border towns to get permission to build the wall? Are you kidding me?  Another, if anyone, even drug cartel  people, MS-13 gang members and those that just want to enter the United States say they are going to sponsor a small child, they are automatically  immune from being deported. And there are at least close to 100 times or mention in the bill telling the President where he CAN'T spend the money being offered. And people, there are  other provisions in  this spending bill the Democrats  with the help from disgruntled Republicans who dislike the President gave him  the middle finger once again.

Folk, I want to make it very clear that this spending bill is a GARBAGE BILL. It's a garbage bill from every and any angle. It's a steaming pile of manure. It stinks to high heaven.

The Dems, Pelosi and Schumer  pulled the same stunt they did with the Health Care Act. The delayed the offering until the 11th. hour and told the House and Congress to pass it first, then read it. Pelosi held up this bill until a few hours before the deadline (between 1100 and 1200 pages), and then signed it and delivered to the Presidents desk. The President was snookered again.

Remember, the President said after that first omnibus bill that he would "never sign" such a bad bill again. But guess what? He did.

What ever happened to his mantra that he he wrote about in his book: THE ART OF THE DEAL. He said he would "walk away" from any bad deal. He also  said that when he was running for president. and when he was negotiating with Chairman Kim of North Korea. And, he knew what was  occurring with this bill before he ever saw it.Hell, it was all over the news, especially FOX news, which he apparently watches on a regular basis. The terms of this is so-called bipartisan committee was leaked each and every day and the networks discussed the pros and cons of the terms. So he knew about all of this bad, bad, landmines and yet, he was talked into signing this trashy bill by McConnell and entrenched Republicans. What a shame.  The bill isn't even couched in proper legislative language. For example,  it states he can't use funds EVER for certain things and areas of concern. WOW! It's vague. It's like a high school students attempt to write a paper. It's nothing that lawmakers crafted in the past.

I submit, that the President should have reviewed this pile of poop, and  told Pelosi, Schumer , McConnell and the other  spineless  Republicans to "take this bill, and SHOVE IT." And  then, immediately declare a National Emergency. He could have declarced a National Emergency weeks ago prior to this lame, feckless committee getting together to come up with a bill. From all I've read, the President has full authority to declare a National Emergency and if, the Democrats file legal challenges, the President will prevail in the Supreme Court. Further, if the  Dems take legal action the President should immediately request a fast track path to the Supreme Court.

I am disappointed that the President continually backs down and gives in to McConnell and the Republican groups that pander to their own lobbyists and  self-interest agendas. "Fool me once, shame on you." "Fool, me twice, same on me." The president has been fooled and misled a number of times by MConnell and his same ol', keep it the same Washington crowd. When is the President going to learn that McConnell and some in the White House and Congress do no want change in Washington and they will do anything to keep it as is and was?

I wold also suggest to the President that he not telegraph hid plans days and weeks ahead of  time. Example, Months ago he stated he has the option of a National Emergency. So what did the Democrats and some Republican do? The immediately planned to file legal challenges and get a structured plan in motion to combat  his  plan. Fact is, they now have paperwork already drawn up and ready to go to, fight the National Emergency. I submit that if President Trump and the White House counsel and staff kept the idea of the National Emergency under wraps, he could have come out, declared the National Emergency,  and start using it while the Dems and the opposing Republicans scrambled to catch up and  try to put together to the action. But when someone sees the punch coming, it's natural for someone to block the punch. That's dumb!. I say, throw your punch and then let's see what happens.

The president stated  during the campaign -- I do not want the enemy to know when and where it coming. but since being in office it appears he doesn't follow his own  plan. He has been telegraphing things he will  and will not do. I believe when Obama and previous president's declared a National Emergency, they did it and then moved on. Look at what Obama did with the DACA situation? He  did it without fanfare and then moved on. Even though the courts said it was an illegal act, it still is in play to this day.

Finally, I am glad that the President declared the National Emergency. He should go forward and not back down on advice from the weak, feckless people in his own party or pressure from Pelosi and Schumer.. Take it to the Supreme Court and move on. The reason the Democrats like Pelosi and Schumer are now making threats saying they will use a National Emergency when the Democrats get back in the White House, they really know and are afraid that they will  lose in the courts. With all their bluster they know the court will side with the President, because of the firm ground he is on legally. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decision. You decide.

TEACHERS UNIONS AND PUBLIC EMPLOYEES ARE RIPPING OFF THE TAXPAYER. BIG TIME.

Teachers in Oakland, California are in their second day of strike, mostly over pay. The union also say it's because of class conditions, but believe me, it is not about the kids. Its about the MONEY. Don't be fooled. It's never enough. You give them a raise and the next year they come back to the trough, wanting even more. I suggest that if the teachers and public employees who are always making outrageous demands for higher pay are unhappy with their salary.--HEY QUIT. Go out in the private sector and get a job. Then they will realize how hard it is to get by when paying for everything with a paycheck from week to week, without guarantees of automatic raises, lucrative pensions and retirement benefits. But in reality, you can bet they won't do that. They don't want to leave the gravy train or the pig trough. They will continue to slop up the free ride on the backs of average John and Jane Doe taxpayer.

The teacher unions across this country are  some of the strongest unions out there. And Oakland's 3000 or more teachers are demanding---believe it or not, a whopping 12 percent raise. WOW!

The union snubbed their nose at, and turned down a proposed 7 percent offered by the district. First of all, who in this world in the private sector can demand a salary increase of 7 percent. It won't happen,---EVER. The person or group would be fired or lad off immediately. An average, regular working stiff  punching the clock and putting in eight , ten or twelve hours a day don't demand or receive raises automatically every year. They are lucky if they get time off for vacation time, and then that is usually not paid for. They do not receive a guaranteed retirement/pension plan to enjoy their golden years.

It appears the privileged few, like all teachers and public employees with their powerful union  contracts demand entitlements of guaranteed wages, paid vacation, bonuses, free healthcare benefits,an over the top retirement and pension plan, and the list goes on. And we, the average working man and woman are stuck with the tab.The states lawmakers continually tax us to subsidize the care and comfort and  excessive salaries  of teachers and public employees, The public employees usually contract and receive  annual salary benefits of 5, 7, 10 percent.

But now Oakland teachers jumped on the bandwagon of the other teacher groups in other states and demand even higher and higher salary demands. They have the gall to demand 12 percent. That's disgusting.

What about all the senior citizens and veterans. The elderly people collecting social security are lucky if they see a increase in benefits every few years.And then when they receive one it is only  a 1.7, 2.1 or 2.7 percent  increase. And then medicare raises their fees and take back the raise the seniors just received.

I say, the senior citizens and veterans who  built this country are being neglected when it comes to cost of living and surviving.

The teachers unions and public employees unions should be ashamed of ripping of the hard working taxpayer. But they have NO shame. They want us  average taxpayer to support them and their families with all the goodies and freebies for their entire lives.

It is a matter of record that many police, and fire department and educator employees are currently receiving annual salaries of $200,000 and over. And, when they decide to retire (early sometimes), they receive a monthly pension for the rest of their lives, even  higher than the $200,000 salary they earned while on the job. AND we, the average John and Jane Doe taxpayer are picking up the tab.

As a side note, many of the teachers and public employee unions pension/retirement agencies are under funded because of the high demands of receiving such large salaries and because  of  the promises by state and federal lawmakers that the  public employees and teachers will receive those high wages and pensions. And people, we eight hour a  day hard workers are on the hook to pay these teachers and public employees. So when the retirement/pension agencies goes BELLY-UP because they do not have enough money in the state or federal coffers to continue to pay these ridiculous salaries and benefits for life --YEP, you guessed it. John And Jane Doe taxpayer has to continue to pay the tab.

My question? When is enough, enough? These elites, the teachers, police, fireman, etc., in public sector jobs who live on a cushy retirement, pension, free or nearly free healthcare for themselves and their family care less who is paying their tab. It has got to stop. Lawmakers, are you listening? Stop pandering to these unions and look out for all of your constituents.  Redo and refine pensions, retirements and salaries regarding teachers and public employees. -  And, that's my opinion. WHO ELSE IN THIS COUNTRY GETS AN 11% WAGE INCREASE? NO ONE, BUT TEACHERS.

Wow! An 11% increase in salary. The teachers unions are at it again. Denver teachers ended a three-day walkout with this whopping windfall. Ever since the West Virginia teachers strike got them about a 5% salary increase and other benefits  many other teachers across the nation decided to cash in on the move. Arizona  soon followed West Virginia, then it was Los Angeles, and now, Denver.

I ask you, who else beside  the public sector employees get such a large increase in wages? NO ONE. Believe it or not, these  demanding teachers also will receive a guaranteed  "COLA", (Cost of Living), on top of the 11% wage increase, plus other benefits.

With these teachers unions and their various organizations across the country they always strike using the same old tired phrase IT'S FOR THE KIDS. That's baloney, don't believe it. It's only about the money, guaranteed cost of  living increases and building on their retirement, pensions benefits for their own financial gain.Nothing more.

Compare their salaries and benefits to the average Joe or Jane Doe busting their hump each and every day, working on their job with no guarantee of an annual cost of living and other lucrative benefits. Many of these hard workers work for minimum wage, with NO guarantee of receiving annual increases, no retirement plans, no vacation plans and could be fired, laid-off, and let go at the whim of their boss. And no severance  pay. The boss says tough luck John, or Jane , we don't need you any more, and that's all she wrote, the persons out on the street looking for another job.

Then there is the retired senior citizens across this great nation living on a fixed income, mostly depending on their social security funds to survive on. But they will never, ever see an  increase in their monthly check for 11%., not even close to that. These seniors who built this country only see an  occasional increase, maybe every few years.  They go without and increase in social security benefits for years at a time and then, when it does come they only see and increase of 2.1% and 2.7 %. and when the increase does come, Medicare takes it back by raising the share of Medicare annual fees. The seniors are lucky if they see a bump in the benefit of between $4.00 and $12.00.

Yet public  sector employees like the teachers, police, firemen and all others on the government dole gravy train bargain each year or so for large raises in  yearly salary, merit raises  and cost of living increases, vacations,  free or  low, low costs for heath care,--and the list goes on.

My position is: NO ONE deserves a super large increase in salary of 11%, plus other fantastic benefits. It's a slap in the face to all of us taxpayers that are on the hook to pay these public employees those retirements, pensions vacations, and health care while most of us have to struggle from day to day just to survive. It's ludicrous!

And at this writing I didn't even cover all of the homeless veterans in America that is left out of this mix. Ir's a sorry shame. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

PENALIZE MEXICO FOR AIDING THE CARAVANS INVADING  OUR COUNTRY.

Mexico should be brought to heel and penalized.  Why? Because they are assisting all of the migrants from Central America pour into the United States. The Mexican government has provided at least 49 buses to transport the most recent caravan from Central America through Mexico's interior up to the cities on our border.

Mexico clearly does not want to control their own southern border. The President  of Mexico  recently  told the media  that he intends to open his borders to the many continuing migrant caravans leaving Central America en route to the United States.

President Trump should  take action against Mexico for their double dealing. He should first--
Get the border walls up on our southern border after Feb. 15th., even it takes a National Emergency declaration and charge a fee for everyone crossing the border from Mexico who enters and exits the United States.

Immediately STOP sending the $300 to $500 per year to the Mexico's military. Let the Mexican government pay for their own military. We could use that money right here, in America, to fight the illegal drugs flowing into the U.S. from Mexico. Mexico is so corrupt that they fail to stop any drug trafficking. Fact is, recently it was reported in the media that an Attorney General for a Mexican State  took tens of millions of dollars to protect the drug cartels. The corruption reaches into the highest levels of the Mexican government.

Immediately begin penalizing and taxing all of the foreign people,living here in the United States when they send their remittance's out of the country.  A 10% or 15% fee would not be unreasonable.  It's a known fact that most, if not all,  illegal aliens (especially Mexicans) who reside in the U.S. continually send money from America back their home country. It adds up to billions of dollars each year. We here in America are  losing that money not only in tax revenue, but losing  that money being spent here in the United States.
