AMERICA'S "LEGAL" IMMIGRATION SYSTEMS, NEEDS TO BE MERIT BASED.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
President Trump wants to cut legal immigration in half within a few years. In his overhaul plan for "legal immigration" he also proposed that in order for immigrants to legally come to the United States, they would have to meet certain criteria. Some of the requirements would be:
The immigrant:
* would have to speak English. Note: That would allow the immigrant to assimilate into society faster.
* would have to have money to support themselves after arrival.Note: This would prevent the immigrant arriving on our soil and immediately applying for welfare handouts.
* would have to have a job skill. Note: So the immigrant would be a productive part of America, by getting a job and contributing to the American economy.
* extended families members would be prohibited entry along with the immigrant applicant. Note: The family members that could enter with the immigrant would be basically his or her spouse, and children. Note: That policy would prevent the immigrant from bringing his or her nephews, cousins, , aunt and uncles, etc.,
I agree with all of the above. A person should be able to speak English if the want to come to America. And, the immigrant should have money to support themselves, buy businesses, or invest in America, rather than collect welfare, paid for by the American taxpayer.
And, yes, when the immigrant applies to come to America, it is only prudent that the immigrants "immediate" family be allowed to accompany him or her. It's obvious that the immigrant applicant is not going to support all of his/her nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents on one income.
Our current legal immigration system is broken, it's obsolete . Why? Currently the immigrant arrives on our soil, and immediately, he/she is put on our welfare and benefit rolls. We're supporting them from the get-go. A large majority of the legal immigrants DO NOT speak English. This prevents them from seeking out a job and getting around in the city they settle in. A majority of the legal immigrants do not have any skills to take jobs in various occupations and/or vocational positions. And, when the immigrant arrives in America, they not only have their spouses and children in tow, but they want to bring in nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts, grand parents, and distant relatives. I believe that's inappropriate. Right now, when that occurs, we are immediately supporting, 6,7,8,9,10 or more people, because of the one single immigrant application. Our current "legal" immigration policy is SO WRONG, in SO MANY WAYS.
I say we need to have immigrants come to America, who can demonstrate job skills, English language skills, and education, We need immigrants who can begin contributing to our country from the day they arrive so they can support themselves and their immediate family.
President Trump's new, revised "legal" immigration is consistent with other countries immigration. Canada, and Australia, have a "merit based system" and it has been working very well for them. Those countries have their immigrants prove they have money to support themselves and their family; have job skills to offer; and contribute to their countries well-being.
The sad part of our "legal" immigration system is: We have been allowing people with no skills, no education, and no money into our country for decades.. Many people from some of these countries do not even have an elementary school education, some have never, ever, been to school at all. They arrive here with no money in their pockets, and they bring all of their family, and extended and distant relatives with them. The result: We have been getting a large numbers of legal immigrants in the country that want us, the taxpayer, to support them with welfare and benefit programs.
I predict that once the United States changes to a legal immigration "merit" system, we will be getting high school and college educated people; people that have skills in such things as technology, computer sciences, physics; immigrants that can speak English; immigrants that have worked in jobs and positions in their country of origin; immigrants that want to come to America and buy and start businesses with their own money; investors that want to invest in America's way of life, and build on our economy.
We clearly need to change the "legal" immigration policy. It hasn't been touched since the 1960's. Congress has to revamp our old, tired, outdated, immigration policy, if for no other reason, but for America to survive.
Our current system says to become a naturalized United States citizen, you must pass a naturalization test. The person has to take an English and civics test unless the person qualifies for a waiver or exemption. But under this current policy, a non-citizen doesn't have to take an English test if they are 50 years old, or older and has lived in the U.S. ,as a permanent resident for at least 20 years. What? I say, that's bad policy. WHY? Come on! If a person has been living in the United States for 20 years or more, and still cannot speak English ---that's a BIG, BIG, problem for America. That tells me the person doesn't want to integrate or assimilate into American society.
I recall, back in the 1990''s, Rep Barbara Jordan, D-Texas, who was the chair of the U.S.Commission of Immigration, called for an increase in the restrictions on immigration but --the big corporations and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (who want "cheap" labor"), and the very liberal left, (who wanted a whole new voting bloc for the Democratic party), put the kibosh on the move.
Congress has to pass the Cotton-Purdue measure. From all indications, it appears president Trump will sign the measure. One large benefit the American people will receive from the Cotton-Purdue measure will be the termination of the crazy Green Card Lottery which the U.S. had in place for years. My view is, the only reason for this idiotic Green Card Lottery, is because the liberals and big corporations want 50,000 immigrants a year to come to the U.S., from countries that do not generally send many immigrants to the Unites States.
If congress( with its ten-percent (10%) approval rating) can get their act together, and start wearing their "big boy" pants, they will act in unison and pass this measure which will be a big substantial move to make America great again. We, as Americans, have to retain the American way of life and retain America's character. And I say the only way to do that is to control our borders.
Folks, that is the kind of immigrants we need. -- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

THE USA IS FAST BECOMING A THIRD-WORLD COUNTRY. WE HAVE OUR POLITICIANS TO THANK.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
The Las Vegas Review Journal reported that Nevada immigrant population is 19.3 percent of all Nevadans. Out of that over half of them are Latinos. And half of foreign-born Nevadans are not naturalized citizens.
Do we have an immigration problem in the United States? You bet we do. I suggest that we here in America are becoming a banana Republic, a third-world country. Our borders are so porous that we are absorbing tens- of- thousands of immigrants from Mexico, and Central American countries. I think it has to stop. But nanny-state politicians want open borders. Currently we have about one quarter of the Venezuelan population in the United States, many arriving as "illegal aliens " Now some lawmakers in Washington want to allow tens-of thousands more from this Venezuela (under the guise of REFUGEES), come into America. That's crazy.
The influx of immigrants flooding into our country, especially through our southern border is destroying the American way of life.
Folks, our quota system allowing immigrants into America worked very well since my parents came to America, in 1903. We have been a welcoming nation to immigrants from all over the planet. All these decades our immigration system worked. Americas had quotas, (reasonable quota's). People waited in line in their country of origin to come to America. The immigrants waited, followed the rules, filled out the proper paperwork, was allowed to enter the country, and then became a citizen.
All of that order and regulation fell apart, when in 1986, president Ronald Reagan and the lame brains in congress gave approximately THREE MILLION "illegal aliens", AMNESTY. We Americans were told that the amnesty would be a one time thing and the southern border would be secured to prevent any other "illegal aliens" from entering the USA. That proved to be one of the biggest lies in history. The lawmakers lied to our face. Since the 1986 amnesty, we now have approximately (12 to 14 million) illegal aliens living in the United States. However, I think the real figure is closer to 20 million illegal aliens. I think the government figures are suspect because the lawmakers do not want to release the REAL numbers to the American public.
I would estimate that the largest number of illegal aliens coming across our southern border are coming in from Mexico. Then we have the rush of the Latinos from Central America, illegally crossing the U.S. border (again, through Mexico);
Folks, America has always had one of the most generous immigration policies in the world. We allow about ONE MILLION immigrants from all over the world into America , legally, "each year", to become citizens. I personally think that is too much. Why? Do the math, people. Ten years: ten million immigrants; twenty-five years: twenty-five million additional immigrants added to our countries population. Come on! And, what about their families? We take them too. Then we have the Cuban situation, Cubans can stay, just because they are Cuban. This group has a free pass to enter the U.S. (they are treated more favorably) than any other immigrants waiting in line to come to America. Fact is, we have a large part of the Cuban population now residing in the state of Florida. It looks as though we are taking other countries entire populations and dropping them here in the U.S.
In addition to all of the immigrants mentioned, president Trump reluctantly accepted thousands of refugees that Australia wanted to get rid of. Obama made a deal with Australia to accept these refugees, so Trump honored the deal and took them in.
I say that we, as a country cannot continue to accept immigrants and refugees in such large numbers, and still allow millions of "illegal aliens" to run rampant on our soil. What the lazy, incompetent lawmakers in Washington and certain states are doing is intentionally turning America into a country that will eventually resemble Syria, Iran, Iraq, and all of the third-world revolutionary countries that have come apart at the seams, with fighting and death in the streets.
Folks, I predict that in 30 years, possibly 50 years, America will be there, THIRD-WORLD status. There have been experts that said by 2035, ninety(90) percent of America will be Latino. They, the experts, have referred to it as "The Darkening of America."
America is losing its AMERICAN identity, and will completely lose it by then. People will be fighting over jobs, health care, food and water shortages. I also predict that we, as a country, cannot sustain our current legal immigration numbers. And we clearly cannot continue to allow tens-of-thousands of "ILLEGAL ALIENS" to infiltrate the United States. -- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

IS LAS VEGAS A RIP OFF SPOT? "RESORT FEES", SOME PEOPLE THINK SO.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
I live in Las Vegas. I began working in Las Vegas as an entertainer way back in 1953. Then in 1958, I began living in California, but still traveled to Las Vegas over the years to perform.. I called southern California my home until 1993. I then relocated back to Las Vegas to live. I spent the next 28 years calling Vegas my home.
You can bet, in all of those years gone by, I saw how Las Vegas has changed. There was a time when the casinos used to provide their guests with amenities just to have the person stay at their hotel/casino. If you were a hotel guest you had free access to the pool, lounge shows, restaurants, phone, (except long distance), and parking lots, just to name a few areas.
The casinos had automobiles, trucks, motorcycles numerous other premium items that a person could gamble for. The hotels had $100,000 to million dollar jackpots scattered all over their hotel floors. Guests could usually win some money during their stay. There were times in the 1950s, 60s and 70s , I could bring my lady over to Las Vegas for the weekend, and FIFTY DOLLARS in gambling money would last the entire weekend. You could see guest walking around the casino with cardboard buckets with their winning in silver dollars (later hotels casinos did away with paying silver dollars and went to their own dollar coins) which a person cashed in at the casino cashier. Hotel employees would offer guests free meals (comps) , as breakfast, lunch and dinner, only because the employee saw the guest gambling on a machine for quite awhile.
A guest could expect to see a cocktail waitress passing by about every ten minutes offering drinks to the customers. Cigarettes were given away by the pack. A guest who smoked never needed to buy a pack of cigarettes during their hotel stay. They even gave free cigars to guests. Casino personnel would give free tickets to their guests to see the different shows and artists working in the showrooms and lounges. A hotel guest could go back home happy, after having a fun weekend , which included a bunch of free comps in Las Vegas. And it wasn't unusual for the Las Vegas visitor to go home with a little winnings from their gambling weekend.
I could go on, and on, how Las Vegas used to be compared to what the guest receives now.
I feel really bad about how the the tourists, and locals are treated in (modern day?) Las Vegas.
Now the hotel casinos treat their guests like the airline industry treats their passengers. They ding the tourist and local hotel/casino guests for amenities that they should offer to the person just for staying at their establishment. And, it's not a nickel and dime ding. It's a $20,30, 40, dollars and more DING. I believe the hospitality, gambling, and food industry took a page from the airlines, and I suspect Las Vegas is one of the biggest gougers in the country.
Lets start with the infamous: RESORT FEE. Hotels in Las Vegas tack on those hefty fees which often can add up to an additional $50.00 or more a night, on top of the cost of the room. Many hotels fail to tell the guest about the "resort fee" at the time the person makes their reservation for their room. Then at check out the guest has STICKER SHOCK. A room the guest thought cost for $39.95 a night now is billed out at $80.00 a night.
When the guest asks why the discrepancy in their bill, all of the hotel employees in town at most hotels sing the same song: They say, it's for the amenities we offer you. Access to the pool; phone; Wi-Fi-maid service, etc. What? I say, that's what the hotel is there for. It is to offer amenities for the guests comfort as part their stay at the establishment. For example, if the hotel has a pool, it should be a free amenity for the guest. Its part of the hotel and should be available to the guests that are staying there . And I say, everything else these gouging, greedy hotels hotels are charging the guest (outside the basic cost of the room) , should be a free amenity for the guest. I suggest such things should be free to the guest for staying at the establishment.
But folks, it nothing but GREED. Now, in Las Vegas, the only comps a guest gets is , if they put a players card in a machine, they may be entitled to a FREE BUFFET (Whoppee!) There is no more chance of winning cars, trucks, and/or motorcycles, just by playing the slot machine carousel, where the vehicle is parked. You are lucky if you ever see a car on the casino floor. If you do, it's only one car with a sticker attached saying you have a chance to win (this one car)it if you show up at a specific time, on a certain day, to compete in a drawing against thousands of people. That's not gambling for a vehicle --that's a raffle, folks.
Over the years, I have watched the casinos cut back on the quality, and types of prizes, a guest had a chance to win. The casinos have also cut back on the size of the slot machine payoffs. The only big slot win in the state now is the MEGABUCKS, and the odds of winning that slot has been drastically cut back. One used to hear about a megabucks machine hitting quite regularly, at different casinos. Now, your lucky to hear a megabucks hit once or twice a year.
And, it's not uncommon to hear tourists, that have been returning to Las Vegas, year after year, and locals, complain that the slot machine payoffs, have been drastically reduced. I have seen people get angry and complain that they put a twenty-dollar bill ($20.00), into a slot machine and it's gone with three to five minutes, without even a dollar or two payoff..
And now, the hotels/casinos in Las Vegas, with their never ending desire to find a way to squeeze still more money out of the tourist and local visitor who visits their property is charging the guest for (PARKING) --- Some people believe that the casinos and hotels in Vegas are ripping them off. I have had many Las Vegas visitors tell me they will not come back because they feel they are being cheated. I have been told by friends and visitors that they intend to stay away from Vegas and visit the Indian casino/hotels near their homes. I don't blame them. This idea of the hospitality and gaming industry looking for every little item they can add to the visitors bill is out of hand -- and has been for years.
What's next? Are the hotel/casinos going to charge the guest for using the coffee maker in their room, $4.00 per cup of coffee? Are they going to ding the guest a dollar a towel, to shower or bath? Maybe they want to charge the guest a charge to pee -- fifty cents a toilet flush --charge for the toilet paper -- five buck a roll.
I see Las Vegas as an empty shell of what it used to be. Great entertainment like the old days of Vegas are gone. The reasonable buffets that made Las Vegas famous years ago are gone. Hell, some strip buffets run $50-$60-dollars. There are no really good acts of raw talent in the showrooms anymore, like Sinatra, and the Rat Pack, The main acts in Las Vegas today mostly LIP-SYNC (pretend to sing a song), and the class showrooms have now been turned into night clubs catering to booze and drug venues, with DJ's who spin a record. The hotel pool areas have been turned into day clubs,--again, booze, drugs and DJ's. It's all greed, people.
Where is it going to end folks? Although, I have to give credit where credit is due . There a a FEW hotels in Vegas that DO NOT charge a "resort fee", but they may charge other fees (such as parking) to boost up the cost of their rooms, per night.
Truth be told, I stopped going to the Las Vegas strip for any reason whatsoever. I refuse to book a hotel for friends or relatives, even downtown Las Vegas, if the place charges a resort fee. And now if they charge a parking fee to visit their property, they are off my list for visits also, and put on my "poop" list. -- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

THERE ARE THOSE THAT WANT TO BRING DOWN PRESIDENT TRUMP.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
Well, once again, today, it was reported that more leaks were released regarding private conversations of president Trump and foreign governments. What is the problem with finding the White House leaker's. Where the devil is the justice department?
It doesn't take a fifth grader to know that only so many people are in the room , and privy to president Trumps conversations. There is a phone, paper, digital, and electronic trail, to know who, and when, particular people were present during president Trump's conversations. It is not like an investigator has hundreds of suspects to interview, interrogate, and give polygraph tests too. It is a small pool of people.
I would suspect that some in the justice department DO NOT w to find the individuals doing the leaking. Is there a DEEP STATE, and/or moles, who are hold overs from the Democratic administration embedded in our intelligence services, the justice department, and yes, the Republican party who has a determined goal to wound and damage president Trump? I suggest that is a strong possibility.
Even White House ex-communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, suggested and accused Reince Priebus, of being a leaker. Could be. He certainly was one of the people who was always maneuvering for a place in the room when president Trump had conversations, discussions and phone calls with other leaders of the world.
Scaramucci, who I call :SCARY-mucci, bombed out on his job after only ten days. He came on the scene "scaring" everybody, saying he was going to fire a number of people. The day he was hired, White House spokesman, Sean Spicer resigned. There was no love lost between those two. And , when Chief of Staff, General John Kelly came on board, he immediately fired SCARY-mucci , which was the right move.
There was a back biting, rough and tumble, and free-for all going on in the West Wing. And the vulgar, profanity laced statements from SCARY-mucci, clearly didn't help to resolve any conflicts. He's gone. Good riddance. We do not need people like that in the White House, or for that matter, any place in government.
I also believe the justice department should take a vigorous role in tracking down and convicting the White House leakers. I would suggest that in addition to looking at Priebus and his aides,, people like House Speaker Paul Ryan and his staff should be included in the search for the culprits.. I am not saying Ryan is a leaker, but the situation warrants an investigation of Ryan and his staff due to the fact he was present during the many meeting, discussions, phone calls, and conversations involving president Trump..
And remember, there have been many occasions that appeared to be obvious where Ryan was not on the Trump train, from the get-go. He had to be brought around by some Republican colleagues in the party to endorse and support president Trump and his agenda. It looks to me as though, to this day, Ryan does not support president Trump and his polices.
Looking back on my past experience as an investigator, I think it would be quite easy to center in on those few people around the president, his close staff, and their aides, to determine if one or more were leaking information to the media. Also, if I were investigating the leaks I would consider using the power of subpoena toward all of the reporters that had reported the leaked information. Why? I believe that many of the leaks both from the White House and from the Intelligence agencies were a clear and present danger to our countries national security. Come On! When a person leaks the private and confidential phone conversations between the president of the United States and the president of Mexico, and the Prime Minister of Australia --folks, that's a BIG national security problem. And I say, the reporters and media people should be accountable. They should be required to give up the leaker.
Once the leaker's within the White House are unmasked, I would move quickly to the intelligence community and the justice department. To this day, I cannot understand why the justice department failed to move swiftly to curtail the leaks coming directly from the bowels of the White House. They certainly have the tools, assets, and personnel to move quickly,. But it seems they chose not too.
Folks, I hold the position that there are those in the administration and members from both, the Republican and Democratic parties that are secretly colluding to bring down president Trump, any way they can.
Let's just examine such things as the recent health care bill fiasco. Senator John McCain (R-Arizona), stabbed the president, the Republican party, and the American people in the back when he put his (thumb down), on the heath care vote. Senators Murkowski , and Collins, both so-called Republicans fall in that same bucket. Then we have senator McCain's buddy, Lindsey Graham, who like McCain tries to obstruct president Trumps agenda every chance they can do it.
Just yesterday, president Trump signed a bill sanctioning Russia, The bill took Trump's presidential negotiating powers out of his hands. Before Trump can remove or lighten up on sanctions wit Russia, congress has to approve his moves, FIRST. That's wrong. It shouldn't take an act of congress to do what the president can and has a right to do. Result, a number of his Republican party colluded with Democrats to weaken and restrict president Trumps powers.
And, just today, it was reported that some of these (let's hurt Trump) Republicans are joining again to restrict Trumps power of office by passing a bill that he CANNOT fire (ROBERT MUELLER), the special counsel, without getting permission from congress, first. Some of the hurtful Republicans also want to pass legislation to prevent Trump from firing the Attorney General, if he so chooses. Again people, many in the government, the congress, both Republican and Democrat want to tie the presidents hands and put restrictions on what he can and cannot do, even though he has an absolute right to do it.
I sincerely believe that many Republicans and Democrats who have been in office for decades DO NOT want to lose their "status quo." These set in their way lawmakers want Washington to go on like
it has been doing year, after year. They don't want change to their way of elite life. They fear the change, and as such, strive to get rid of president Trump. THAT'S SAD! -- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

WHAT NUMBER IS ENOUGH, BEFORE AN ILLEGAL ALIEN GOES TO PRISON FOR RECROSSING OUR BORDERS.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
The immigration policy in the United States continues to get worse by the day. I hope president Trump's wall at the southern border goes up quickly. That may not solve all of the problems regarding illegal entry into America, but it will a big step forward.
Let;s look how "illegal aliens" coming into this country are affecting our way of life. The political correct crowd likes to use the words "undocumented worker." They refuse to use the word "illegal alien", which is actually the legal definition of someone in this country illegally.
I would like to remind people that on July 1, 2015, Kate Steinle, a young woman was walking in San Francisco, sight seeing with her father, when ILLEGAL ALIEN Lopez- Sanchez, shot the woman. And get this, Lopez-Sanchez was deported from the United States, FIVE times, before he shot this young lady. Yet, this illegal continued to come back into the United States illegally and take refuge in the sanctuary city of San Francisco, where the law of the city is: Do not turn illegal aliens over to Immigration, and Customs, Enforcement (ICE), for deportation.
Then, only a few days ago, in Portland, Oregon, another sanctuary city that refuses to cooperate with our federal agents had "ILLEGAL ALIEN", Sergio Jose Martinez, 31 years-old, rape and rob a 65-year-old woman at knife point, and then attempted to rape and rob a second woman, who fought him off. And, the kicker here is, this lowlife, meth head, with an extensive criminal record had been deported 20 TIMES before he committed these acts. And again, the city fathers of Portland, Oregon, and the liberal judges continued to release this habitual criminal back on to to the streets, allowing him to continue to rape and rob. I think it's way past the time for congress to take action against these sanctuary cities.
Another case worth mentioning is; On or about June 25, 2017, Salvador Diaz-Garcia, 23-years-old, who had Obama's administration"Dreamer" status was living in Burien, Washington, a suburb outside Seattle, who had a "sanctuary city" law on the books, so as to protect "illegal aliens in their city. This sleazy excuse for a human being, brutally raped and attacked a 19-year-old woman at her apartment complex gym. The woman suffered a broken nose, broken jaw, missing teeth, and her ear was dangling from her bloody head. And this "animal" lived in the same apartment complex as the young lady. In addition to the vile rape against the young woman, this creep also faces molestation charges for assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
According to estimates, we also have about TEN THOUSAND, MS-13 gang members here in United States. Most of them here as "illegal aliens." Some of the MS-13 gang members who resided in the Long Island, New York area recently murdered four young teens. This gang which got its start in El Salvador, had members illegally enter the United States and settle in Los Angeles. Soon, a few MS-13 members turned into thousands.
This murdering, MS-13 gang organizations choice of weapons to murdering teenagers is a machete , hacking and chopping their victim to pieces. They also choose to murder victims by beating then to death with baseball bats, and stabbing them with knives.
The MS-13 gang is a criminal organization which is no different than a terrorist group. The gang's only goal is to rape, rob, murder, traffic in drugs, as well as human trafficking and prostitution,. And that is just some of their illegal activities.
I believe the federal government should treat the MS-13 organization as a terrorist group and round up all of the gang members who are in the United States.before they increase their numbers. The government shouldn't make the same mistake that they made with the terror group ISIS. ISIS started with only a couple thousand, but the government ignored them and wrote them off. Result --now ISIS is spread around the world in the tens-of-thousands. I suggest we treat these murdering terrorist,MS-13 members like the TERRORISTS they are. Declare war on them . We have tens of thousands of law enforcement officers that make up our federal state, county and city forces. Law enforcement out numbers the MS-13 gang members at least a hundred- to- one. And, we also have our military to help. Pick the members up and lock them away ---GITMO, in Cuba, would be my first suggestion. Get them out of the country and keep them out of the country. The feds deporting "illegal aliens" fails over and over again. There is ample proof that many "illegal aliens" return 5, 6, 10 20, times, or more. And, what does our federal government do? Let them continue to recross the border illegally and turn them loose in our cities and towns. That's wrong.
The feds and law enforcement know where all of the murderous gang members are. I don't think it would be a big problem to pick up only ten thousand criminals and ship them out, Hell, we have the ability to move thousands of military people around the world quickly. Don't wait for the gang members to kill more people. If they belong to the terrorist MS-13 gang they are a terrorist, a criminal. Being a member of the MS-13 gang should be enough reason to get them out of the country.
It is unconscionable that the federal government allowed these gang members to come to the United States in the first place. Started with only a few thousand, we now have 10,000 MS-13 gang members. That's a rough estimate by the government, but I think the number is well over the the ten-thousand mark. I think the government figures are like the fuzzy math used to account for "illegal aliens" in the USA. When you ask the government and various groups--- how many "illegal aliens are in the United States, they cough up a number of 12 to 14 million. But, I would bet dollars to donuts, that there are closer to 20 to 22 million "illegal aliens" living here, in the shadows. I suspect the government wants to underplay the numbers because they do not want the American citizen to know how many of these "illegal aliens" we are supporting with our tax dollars.
Folks, how many times should a person be allowed to enter the United States "illegally? I say, ONCE.--ONE TIME. I suggest that if the illegal is caught the second time -- it's off to prison for at least ten years. And, if it is a known terrorist gang member, they should be sent to GITMO or a place like it, outside the country. We Americans certainly do not need terrorists running amok on our soil. America should have ZERO tolerance for "illegal" lawbreakers.
What frustrates me, my friends, my family, and a lot of Americans, is the fact that we hear our government people say: "We are deporting the person " but, what good does that do if the person continues to illegally return, not ONCE, NOT TWICE, but TWENTY MORE TIMES or more.
Recently a news anchor on a popular investigative news program interviewed an "illegal alien", and the person was asked -(paraphrased): " "How many times did you illegally cross the border into the United States. The man's answer: TWENTY THREE TIMES. We can't have that people. My question is: How is the government going to keep the illegal person out of the country once they deport them? I have never received an adequate answer to my inquires.
Until the government gets serious and sets strict parameters on --" how many times is enough", before the authorities put the illegal alien in prison, our deportation program is a farce, an exercise in futility.. Personally, I want some assurance from our government that once a person has been deported, that person is out of the USA, and prevented from returning. -- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

UMBILICAL CORD BLOOD SHOWS PROMISE.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
Some good news for the elderly. For those that may be experiencing mental decline that may accompany old age,Stanford University School of Medicine researchers found that a protein in umbilical cord blood derived from human newborns clearly increased brain function and cognitive performance in elderly mice.
With this study I would predict that someday, (who knows how long), will bring about a new treatment and medications to combat an individual's mental deterioration. Let's hope researchers make prompt progress utilizing this protein from the umbilical cord.-- And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

LETS HAVE TERM LIMITS ON THE SUPREME COURT.
THE KUHNS REPORT
LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
What we really need in this country is TERM LIMITS on the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court justices should only hold a term of fifteen or sixteen years. There is no reason to have a person sit on the court for 30 years. Partisan politics now have the system rigged to have the president appoint the youngest person they can find so that they can protect and solidify their own legacy once they leave office.
I suggest that if there were term limits on Supreme Court Justices, each president during their eight year term could appoint a justice. The Senate could set up a schedule to appoint a judge every two years., making the courts composition of nine of the most recent appointees. With such a rotation and turn over, both political parties would have a chance to appoint their choices for the seat.
There would always be a justice ready to be seated on the court, and the American people, Congress, and the news media would know that the rotation would allow for change on the court, rather than allowing for a stacked court, as it is set up today. Plus, if a justice had to retire after 16 r 18 years, there would be no "one" person on the court that could sway influence to one party or the other.
The rotation and appointment of a Justice every two years or so would also account for the possibly of one of the Justices dying on the job, being impeached, or resigning. And, the appointment of a new person every couple of years would allow to Senate to be more open to appoint and accept the opposing parties nomination.
Plus, my view is that when some of these Justices sit there on the bench for 25 or 30 years, aging into their 80s and 90s does no one any good. It certainly doesn't do the country any good. When a person is in the sunset years of their life, in their 80s and 90s, their cognitive abilities clearly are diminished to various degrees, and if the Justice is experiencing any medical problems and/or is in poor health, you can bet that the person mind is not on the job, but instead, is concentrating on their health problems and well-being.
Folks, if a Supreme Court Justice is on the job for 16 or 18 years, that is long enough to consider the position a career. There are many job positions out there in the country that mandates that a person retire after so many years on the job. There are good reason for limits to be on those particular positions . I say the Supreme Court should have those requirements also. The country doesn't need any aging, ailing, person with a possible cognitive dysfunctional physiology, impaired individual, who is just going through the motions, warming a seat, muddling along, and being carried by their colleagues, for political purpose.
We Americans need, and should expect, fresh blood, and new, young legal minds contributing their expertise to the direction of the country. And folks, setting term limits on the Supreme Court Justices and rotating new people every couple of years is the answer. --And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
