LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you.?
Marilyn: from San Diego, CA asked me to watch and review the television show "BLACKLIST." I did just that. Marilyn, here is my take on the show - -
The pilot starring James Spader who plays Raymond "Red" Reddington" really carried the pilot show. As always he excelled in his part. The man has always performed well in most anything he takes on.
Megan Boone who plays Elizabeth Keene, a rookie FBI profiler did an adequate job but tends to over act. I think she trys to hard to come across.
The show has a great plot. Spader intends to assist the FBI in bringing down a list of super criminals so it appears there will be some interesting stories to come.
Bad news about the show? Yes, there is some bad news. The pilot was written by Joe Bokenkamp and directed by Joe Carnahan. Here's where I think the show falls down. There was one scene where Keene blasts into the room with Reddington and stabs him in the neck with a pen, pulling it out with blood on it and shouting she could kill him. Come on ! The reality ff that happening in real life with ANY suspect in an interrogation room by the FBI is about "zero."
Also, if Boone's character of Keene is going to be a half-crazed FBI person, loosing it at every turn - - that will get old fast. If Boone's character keeps coming off half-cocked with a hair trigger temper I think it will hurt the show.
The show needs better direction. From the git-go Keene takes charge , even though she is on the first day of her job (a rookie) and she is telling seasoned agents to put their guns away so she can jump in and handle the situation? The FBI is a team effort organization and it's ludicrous to have a new, rookie, first day on job runningb the show. I think there should have been more thought by th writers and directors to be more common sense and realistic.
We will have to see how future episodes unfold. Marilyn. But all in all the scenario of the show is a good one and Bader is excellent in the part. It really has the makings of becoming a good series. Writers and directors have to get real though and think it out before they put together some of the scenes. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

OBSCENE SALARIES IN THE ENTERTAINMENT BIZ? YOU BET.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
Over blown salaries. It not only happens in the sports field but also in the entertainment field. Let me just refer to some. There are literally thousands of examples that could be cited but here are just a few to mull over. For example, This year Ashton Kutcher starring in TV's "Two and a Half Men" is currently being paid $750,000 an episode. Some actors and actresses appearing in the Law and Order television series, "Special Victims Unit are making $400,000 an episode. And lets not forget Judge Judy and her TV show. It is reported that she is earning an over the top salary of $14 Million dollars a year. WOW! Over paid people. I think so.
Just recently Britney Spears , the over the hill teeny-bopper, who lip syncs her songs and pretends to sing rather than display any real, raw vocal talent just signed on for a $30 MILLION two year stint at the Planet Hollywood Resort Casino earning a whopping $380,000 per show. Can you believe it? Just to have her walk and strut the stage with a group of back up dancers and the hotel/casino execs pay her over $300 grand a show. What the devil is the entertainment business coming to folks? I wonder how long it will take the casino people to realize that Spears show will in all likelihood "bomb" and self destruct.
These same casino/hotel executives are paying DJ's $500,000 for an appearance. What? These clowns show up with a flash drive full of music, plug it into a sound system inside the room and click the on switch and get paid $500,000. What a rip off. Christ, any teen age kid can do that with his or her iPod. Where is the DJ's talent? Nowhere. They have none. What does it take to use someone else's music and replay it from a flash drive?
As a side note - - What about all of these judges on the various talent shows like the "Voice", "America's Got Talent", "American Idol," etc. Come on people. Do you really think some of those so-called entertainers, or has been entertainers are worth the millions of dollars they are being paid?
Like the little lady in the TV commercial used to ask: Where's the beef? My question wold be - - Where's the TALENT? Lip syncing, pretend singers and people that play a flash drive full of music doesn't cut it with me.
In any event - -like many individuals in the sports industry who I think are grossly OVERPAID (for playing a game) people in the entertainment biz are OVER PAID.
Many of the suffering men and women across this nation who clock in and punch a time clock for a hard eight (8) hour day job , try to support a family and who try to make ends meet on $30,000 $50,000 a year, sometimes much less, see this gorging at the trough by these people and can't understand why there is such inequity and disparity. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

DISNEYLAND HAS TO INITIATE A "PROOF OF DISABILITY" POLICY FOR SPECIAL ACCESS CARDS. DISREGARD ALL THE SOB STORIES TO GET AT FRONT OF LINE.

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
Disneyland is trying to curb the abuse of waiting times for disabled people. They are doing the right thing, the right way. As they revamp their policy to have disabled people go straight to the front of the lines there are those people that are complaining about Disneyland's attempt to change the policy. There was one woman who said she takes her sons, ages 4 and 6 to Disneyland once a week. She said her sons have autism and can't stand in long lines longer than a "few minutes" before they start pushing other people. WOW! Now the advocacy group Autism Speaks consulted with Disney and they are clearly trying to sway opinion for autistic individuals. What about all the other disabled people that does not have autism?
First, let me say that the reason Disney is forced to re-evaluate their front of the line policy is because it has been USED and ABUSED by persons that are clearly not DISABLED. Disney's entire system trying to accommodate the disabled has been taken advantage of and torn apart.
Fact, there were so-called "disabled tour guides" taking people into the parks who charged money, sometimes hundreds of dollars, to accompany ABLE- BODIED (NON-DISABLED) people and allowed them to avoid waiting times. Other guests go to Disneyland and feign a disability Others who DO NOT have a disability have been able to get an assistance card. Why? because Disneyland had no PROOF OF DISABILITY requirement.
It's disgusting that when a lying, cheating, person sees a disabled person with a cane, in a wheelchair or another severe disability go to the front of the line and falsely lie and cheat and say they too have a disability in order to go to the front of the line.
Folks, it's because of these liars and cheats who abused the policy for years that caused Disneyland to re-evaluate it's policy and stop the people that pretend to be disabled from receiving a special access card to their attractions.
For those parents and families of children with epilepsy and autism who criticize Disneyland's decision to change the disabled access policy I say: Don't criticize and bad mount Disneyland - -blame the sleaze balls that are, and have been abusing the Disneyland system for years. I would say that just the massive volume of requests for special access passes has increased more and more each year, all because of FALSE, MADE UP DISABILITIES.
My suggestion to Disneyland and their officials. - - You will find every parent or family with a child that has epilepsy, autism or some other disability giving the park a sympathy story that THEIR child deserves a special access pass over every other child who is standing in line. Disneyland, you will hear heart wrenching stories and excuses why a particular child should have an access pass over others. Some parents cannot stand to see others go to the front of the line ahead of their child. They think that if one child can access to the front of the line their child should too.
Disneyland - - why don't you adopt a policy that requires the alleged disabled person to have a"disabled placard" which has to obtained from the state (like the disabled placard) similar to what licensed drivers) have? It takes a physcian to certify that a person is truly disabled before the person can acquire those disabled placards. Disneyland, you have to demand proof of disability before special access cards are issued to anyone.
People, fair is fair. Someone has to stand in line. Not everyone can jump to the front of the line. If the individual or child is truly disabled they should be happy to show proof of disability. Until Disneyland demands proof of disability there will always be those low-lifes that have been lying and cheating at Disneyland to do the same ol' thing. - And, that's my opinion. 104 YEAR OLD HEIRESS HUGUETTE CLARK's $300 MILLION ESTATE RIPPED OFF BY DOCTORS, NURSE, HOSPITAL. LAWYERS & ACCOUNTANT

The raiding, draining and marauding of an estate by health care professionals and attorneys is obscene. Case in point - - the estate of of multi-millionaire heiress Huguette Clark. Her estate is estimated to be $300 MILLION dollars.She was 104 years old when she passed in 2011. This case is a poster-child example raising questions about aging, care giving and the fine line between involving possible gratitude and extracting gifts from an elderly, feeble, frail person.
I look at this case and see hospital executives, lawyers, an accountant, a nurse and others who formed a small circle of instigators who cut off Huguette Clark from most everyone in her life. They made this wealthy woman very dependent on their coven of greed. It looks to me that this group induced Clark, a very fragile, frail 104 year old to give them MILLIONS of dollars throughout her stay at the hospital where she decided to reside paying the Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan approximately $400, 000 a year. This group of greedy people argued that Clark was a clear-headed, sharp-minded woman who knew what she was doing when she made decisions that were unusual in her will.
Clark was surrounded by an expensive doll collection worth more than ONE MILLION dollars and photos from her childhood. This wealthy lady living in the hospital appeared to be a great arrangement for the hospital and her caregivers.
Clark, a single woman had no children and had left most of her estate to charities - -nothing to her distant relatives. I see a big issue here as to whether there is a glaring ethical and reasonable limit of what caregivers , health professionals and advisers can ask for - - AND accept. I think that professionals and institutions such as hospitals should be held accountable for their greedy actions.
Huguette Clark owned the largest apartment on New York's Fifth Avenue. a mansion in Santa Barbara, California and a 52 acre estate in New Canaan, Connecticut. According to court records during Clark's stay at Beth Israel Hospital her main nurse, Hadassah Peri received over 30 MILLION dollars in gifts and presents which I would suspect was by "hook or crook." Some of these extravagant gifts and presents over the years included but was not limited to multiple Manhattan apartments, a $1.2 MILLION dollar Stradivarius violin and a doll collection worth over $1 MILLION dollars. Her primary physician Dr. Henry Singman received more than $500,000 or more IN CASH as Christmas presents, she even covered some of her primary doctors medical expenses and paid part of his granddaughter's college tuition. The will also leaves him $100,000 (which he says he will relinquish) before testifying at trial..
Folks, this money grab by these health care people, such as doctors,nurses, hospitals, lawyers and an accountant doesn't stop there . The Beth Israel Hospital apparently conned, made misrepresentations and slick talked this 104 year old little old lady out of HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of dollars in cash and gifts., a multi-million dollar painting by Edouard Manet worth $3.5 MILLION and a MILLION dollar bequest to the hospital. And believe it or not hospital records, emails and memos from hospital administrators and leaders disclosed that they were trying to find ways to get even more from poor Ms. Clark.
Within a few months of Ms. Cark's arrival at the hospital in 1991, a fundraiser person visited her room once a week. By the next year Clark had given the hospital $145,000, but that was not good enough for the hospital staff. According to a memo from a hospital staffer "Here's hoping we end up with even bigger bucks." Can you imagine! The hospital's then-president. and even his mother urged Ms. Clark to prepare a will, though he told her he wasn't trying to suggest a bequest? REALLY? The hospital told Clark it was preparing to sell the building that Clark was residing in and was going to move her to another building in 2004 BUT hospital executives told her that she could STOP the sale by giving the hospital $125 Million dollars. Conned again? You bet. These low lifes did a number on Clark.
Personally, in my opinion I believe that the hospital, doctors, nurses, Clark's lawyers and accountant milked Clark, an ill, sick, little old ladyout of everything they could so they could stuff their own pockets .
NEWS UPDATE: - - - Now, just a day or two ago jury selection started over the validity of the April 2005 will. This wealthy, elderly lady had very minimal contact with any of her distant relatives over the years thanks to the isolation plan put into action by this group of money-grubbing idiots. It looks to me as if this group of health care professionals, in collusion with her lawyers and accountant kept her isolated from any and all contact with the outside world so they could use her for their own piggy bank to satisfy their own financial needs. That's sad.
Well, it appears now that before the case goes to court both sides came to an agreement and made a deal: According to the deal Clark's chief nurse, Hadassah Peri, would get nothing from Clark's will and would have to return $5 MILLION dollars and the expensive doll collection worth more than $1 MILLION dollars. Again, personally, I think this nurse still made out like a bandit- -What about the $30 MILLION in real estate, gifts and presents she already received. A $5 MILLION payback is nothing,. Clark's lawyer would also get nothing. WOW! But what about all the other millions he received allegedly representing Clark and her best interests before her death? Remember Clark was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center way back in 1991. This group of vultures had Clark secreted away at their medical center at their mercy for at least 20 years.
I should mention that this group of individuals which I can best describe as conniving, scheming sleaze was receiving all of the gifts, presents, etc., worth millions , ON TOP of their fees.
People if a deal wasn't made nurse Peri would stand to receive $30 MILLION dollars in the disputed will and Clark's accountant and lawyers who had already received cash, gifts and presents in addition to their fees over the years stood to make millions more in substantial fees as executors of Clark's estate. Now to my knowledge they get nothing from the will.
Clark's relatives said that hospital executives, medical professionals and Clark's lawyers and accountant took advantage of their access to the heiress and further did manipulate their way into the millions of dollars that Clark had. I tend to agree with them.
SLEAZE, SLEAZE, SLEAZE - - I should mention that this type of action by ripping off affluent, rich elderly people that are hospitalized, sick and possibly near deaths door is not uncommon. In fact, over the past couple of years there have been numerous cases cited on television , in print and on electronic media showing doctors, nurses, lawyers and accountants doing the same thing as what was done to Ms. Clark. These ripoff artists isolate and detach the victim from relatives, friends and associates, then they proceed to give and take away proper health care to manipulating the sick, ill person letting them know that they are the only ones that can care for them and that they, these caregivers , attorneys, and accountants know what is best for them. Thus, they intimidate the victim to give up their cash, assets, etc., and on occasions have the person draft a will bequeathing them substantial assets.
I think there should be a law preventing doctors, nurses, health care people, accountants and lawyers from receiving such gifts from the sick, ill and dying in their charge. There seems to be no transparency as to what is happening behind closed doors of hospital rooms, curtained hospital beds or in the seclusion of the victims own home.- And, that's my opinion. $174,000 A YEAR IS NOT ENOUGH SALARY FOR CONGRESSMAN,PHIL GINGREY OF GEORGIA? I SAY GEORGIA RESIDENTS SHOULD DUMP THIS GREEDY GUY.

To show you how arrogant, uninformed and incompetent some of our Congressman are I am SHOUTING OUT the name of "Congressman, Phil Gingrey of Georgia. This guy clearly does not deserve to be a Congressman and he clearly DOES NOT like his job. It appears the only reason he is in Washington is because he is a greedy, manipulative, uncaring person. He does not have his states constituents interests at heart. Apparently, his only interest is a self-serving one and his gluttoney for MONEY.
Here's the situation people - -
While in a closed meeting Congressman Phil Gingrey blabbered and complained saying "Man, this is a dead-end job (meaning being a Congressman representing the state of Georgia.) In this closed-door meeting Wednesday. this idiot made the statements an comments that he is not paid enough. WOW! This looney-tune Congressman is already making $174,000 a year. But he says, for him, that is not enough.
He went on to say that Congressional aides have a future on K-Street- the well known street in Washinton D.C. that is known for the many, many lobbying organizations that are headquartered there. He complains that aides 33 years old can go to K-Street and make $500,000 a year. - - further complaining and bitching he says: "Meanwhile I'm stuck here making $172,000 a year." I guess he forgot that Congress people had been making $174,000 a year since 2009. He's griping about making ONLY $172,000 when he is actually being paid $174,000 a year.
My question: with a guy like this representing the people in Georgia- What good is he? The only one he is representing is himself. The National Review and other publications picked up on this dolts comments but many downplayed or ignored them.
Hell, the people in greedy Gingrey's district has a median income of ONLY $49,736.00 a year and this ego tripping, arrogant lawmaker is crying that he wants to make at least $500,000 a year like some Congressional aide.
My suggestion and message to the people of Georgia, - - FIRE this guy - -dump him - - get him out of Washington. The sooner the better. He is not representing the people of Georgia, that's for sure. It looks as though his only interest is to suck up all the MONEY he can using his seat in Congress while pretending to act as a peoples representative for the state of Georgia. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.

OBAMA FEIGNS INDIGNATION OVER A GAS ATTACK: BUT OUR GOVT DID JUST AS BAD, IF NOT WORSE, ON OUR OWN PEOPLE

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
On September 15, 2013 I watched the 60 minutes program ad saw president Obama being interviewed regarding the Syrian situation. In addition they had a former CIA analyst on the same show and both men were still pushing the war scenario.
Obama still is crying over the chemical gas attack saying that if we, the American people saw the photographs that he saw we would support his idea of a military strike on Syria. When asked about evidence of the gas attack he danced around the question.
As to the CIA analyst he did everything in his power to support a strike on Syria trying to lay out a case to convince the American people. He and Obama were singing from the same hymn book and the moderator/interviewer played along taking it in stride only asking soft ball questions to make the entire dog and pony show resemble some sort of news program. Folks, all this 60 minute interview was was a promo for the White House to rationalize a military strike in another country.
Did you ever wonder how come the president never mentions the atrocities that our own government perpetrate on our own people? The government and CIA have continually carried out experiments on our American population, (in secret) using chemicals, drugs, gas and toxins, among other things. Yet Obama squeals to high heaven that we are above all that. WRONG!
As per copyrighted information published by Health News Network I will cite a few tidbits of information for your consideration: Four hundred prisoners in Chicago are infected with Malaria in order to study the effects of new and experimental drugs to combat the disease. It was reported that the Nazi's during the Nuremberg trials cited this USA experiment to defend their own actions during the holocaust. Lets flash forward to 1955 when a CIA experiment tested the ability to infect human populations with biological agents released a bacteria withdrawn from the Army's Biological warfare arsenal over Tampa Bay, Florida. Then we had the case in 1956 where the U.S. military released mosquitoes that were infected with Yellow Fever over Savannah, Georgia and Avon Park, Florida. Following each test, Army special agents posing as public health officials tested the victims for effects.
The United States government also subjected prisoners at Holmesburg State prison in Philadelphia, in 1965, to dioxin, a highly toxic chemical component of "Agent Orange" used in Viet Nam. The men were later studied for development of cancer, which indicates that Agent Orange had long been suspected to be a carcinogen.
Lets not forget what happened in 1975 when the virus section of Fort Detrick's Center for Biological Warfare Research is renamed The Fredrick Cancer Research Facilities and placed under the supervision of the National Cancer Institute (NCI). It was here that a special virus program is initiated by the U.S. Navy, purportedly to develop "cancer-causing" viruses. It is also here that retrovirologists isolate a virus to which no immunity exists. that virus is later named HTLV (Human-T cell Leukemia Virus).
So I ask you America - -why is president Obama and his colleagues pushing a war agenda against a chemical gas attack in Syria that killed only 1400 people when these same lawmakers on the Hill know exactly what our government is doing infecting our own American population with gas, chemicals, viruses and disease? And they have no qualms about that. Folks, I suspect that these experiments on us, the American people, are still being carried out today across America. There are numerous other covert acts that have been perpetrated on the American people over the years (without their knowledge) which I hope to mention from time to time in my blog so as to show America the two faces of this administration. PRESIDENT PUTIN SAVES THE DAY AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION IS JEALOUS

LAS VEGAS - Hello America, and how is the world treating you?
President Obama's foreign policy is useless. Always has been , always will be. Obama goes with the flow of which ever way the wind is blowing for his benefit and standing with his friends by playing whack-a-mole foreign policy. If his friends suggest a line to take he will go with it and then when another friend offers another suggestion Obama jumps at that life-line.
President Vladimir Putin who clearly has a more reasonable cooler head brought about a solution for the Syria situation. Now that the world is praising Putin for his insight lawmakers here at home are crying the blues and going on television saying that Putin interjected himself into the Syrian conflict and that the United States should be in the forefront instead of Putin. Talk about sore losers - - our lawmakers can't stand anyone else in the world coming up with good sensible ideas other than "going to war."
And even now, Secretary of State John Kerry and Lindsey Graham is still blabbering about taking a military strike against Syria. Hasn't Obama, Kerry and lawmakers on the Hill learned anything from Iraq, Afghanistan, even Pakistan?
This administration is bent on destabilizing the entire Mid East region and causing havoc in the stock markets, turmoil on Wall Street , gasoline price increases and food prices going out of sight. The irrational thinking and actions of Obama and Kerry regarding Syria borders on craziness.
I suggest that the United States take a page from president Putin's play book - -hold down the rhetoric, stop the saber rattling and get on with living in peace.
Obama, Graham, Kerry and other in Washington are clearly jealous that president Putin came up with a plan. Now they are screaming that Putin has to much power in these negotiations involving Syria. What a joke. Our lawmakers continually fight among themselves and cannot compromise on the simplest things to run this country but they have the arrogance and bluster to want credit for something president Putin did. - And, that's my opinion. Make your own decisions. You decide.
